They were kissing forgetting their pains,their fights,themselves............they need it to feel that they are for each other.

Suddenly,preetha cluthed his shoulder which has got a minor fracture,he hissed and they came out of moment.She was close to him but didn't understand the reason for his pain but within no time she got to know it and took off her hand from his shoulder.She was trying to relieve him from pain and after a few minutes he got alright and looked at her.She was worried.

Preetha: ka.....karan.....zyada dard tho nai ho raha heina?

Karan was just looking at her and remembered what they were doing a few minutes ago,a smile stole his lips,she noticed it.

Preetha(confused): kya hua thum has kyun(and she also remembers)

Her words gets stopped and they lock their eyes.

She comes out of it and moves aside.

Preetha: ba....bahot late hua hein thum so jao.......

He was also not understanding his feelings so he laid down with her help.She laid beside him and turned to the other side.He looks at her and doesn't feel good seeing her sleeping that side. He keeps on looking at her and suddenly she turns to him as if she listened him.His smile returns and she looks at him,he places his hand near to her hoping she would hold it and she actually held his hand with her's.

Preetha: G....good night.

Karan: Good night.

Both (mind): It's really a good night.

They sleep with a smile on their faces.

NEXT DAY

Karan opens his eyes and see her side,she was not there.He wakes up and sees none around.

Karan: preetha kaha gayi?

He is wondering about her when Mahira came inside.

Mahira: Good morning karan.....

Karan: Good morning

Mahira: kaisi lag rahe hein ab?

Karan: Good.......Mahira Thumne preetha ko dekha hein?

Mahira gets irritated but doesn't show it.

Mahira: Preetha ghar nai aayi kal se.thumhe pata heina kal raath bhi nahi the woh......

Karan: No preetha aayi hein kal raath .I think bahot late huyi hogi but wo aayi hein aur iss room mein hi soyi thi.

Mahira: What? Preetha yaha soyi thi....

Karan: haa.....

Mahira: Impossible..... preetha ghar mein nai hein aur wo nai aayi ghar.agar wo aayi tho kaha hein.......?

Karan(confused): I don't know subah dekhu tho nai hein room mein lekin meine dekha hein.......meri saath soyi thi mere haath pakad ke.

Mahira: karan thumhara weham hoga.......har wakth thum usike baare mein sochthe rehthe ho aise hi hotha hein.

Karan was confused that whether what has happened yesterday was all his imagination or was it real.

Mahira(mind): oh god..... Yeh preetha ke baare mein sochne lagi mujhe divert karna hoga.

He was seeing his hand which preetha held last night when Mahira holds the same he looks at her.

Mahira: karan preetha ke baare mein sochna band karo........dekho mein hu thumhare saath.mujhse baath karo better feel karogi thum.

She was caressing his hand while he was not liking it.

Karan(mind): yeh kya hein? Preetha ghar nai aayi......lekin wo mujhe paani diya,meri saath soyi thi aur hamari......kiss sab meri imagination hein kya?(remembering about them) nai meine use feel kiya hein I know she was there with me last night.....but subah subah kaha chali gayi?

He feels uncomfortable with Mahira as she is staring him,he takes off his hand from her.

Karan: ma.....Mahira th...thum Sammy ko bulao mujhe kaam hein.

Mahira: kyun? Mein hunaa......jo kaam hein mujhe bathao mein karthi hu.

Karan: No need Mahira sammy ko bulao.......he will help me.

Mahira disappointed,is about to go when karan holds her hand,she feels surprised and happy.

Mahira(smiling): karan?

Karan: w.....wo.....k...kya sach mein preetha ghar mein nai hein?

Listening him,she gets very irritated and sad.

Mahira(little loudly): kitne baar kahu karan preetha nai hein yaha........wo ghar nai aayi.

Voice: kaun ghar mein nai aayi hein Mahira?

They were shocked to listen the voice and turn to see the person..........Its preetha standing at the door........seeing her karan felt happy while Mahira felt shocked.He leaves her hand and observes that preetha was in same night clothes which he saw yesterday night.Which means what has happened yesterday was all true........and this brought him a good smile.

Meanwhile, preetha comes to them.

Preetha: kya hua? Itna shocked kyun ho?

Mahira(shocked): th.....thum yaha kya kar rahe ho?

Preetha: yeh kaisi sawal hein......mein yaha nai tho kaha hongi? (Mahira is irritated,preetha crosses her arms) actually yeh sawal mujhe puchna hein thumhe.....thum yaha kya kar rahe ho?

Mahira: me.....mein karan keliye aayi hu use help karnekeliye......

Unknowingly,she started to fear for preetha,karan understood that and smiles.

Preetha: Ohhh.......karan ki itni care karne keliye thank you so much ab thum ja sakthe ho..... mein hunaa.....ab mein dekhlungi.

Mahira is very angry.She wanna shout at her but she will become bad infront of karan so she decides to act good and gain sympathy from him.

Mahira: haa karan thumhari baare mein hi puch raha hein ab thum aagayi.........waise kaha thi raath tak thum?

Preetha: mein thumhari tarah khaali tho nai hu naa......mujhe kaam hein karne keliye aur parivaar hein dekhne keliye isiliye thoda late huyi.kitna bhi kaam hein aur kahan pe bhi at the end of the day one should be there at their house.Right?

Karan is surprised while Mahira is Unable to speak more,

Mahira:hmm....right?karan mein Sameer ko boldungi ki thum bula rahe hein.Take care I will go.......

She leaves glaring preetha while preetha smiles at her,she turns to karan who is glaring at her.Preetha raised her eye brows.

Preetha: kya hua?

Karan(little anger): kya kya hua?kaha thi thum haa.....

Preetha: mein yahi hu....... kitchen mein thumhareliye soup bana rahi thi.

Karan: achaa mujhe bolke tho chali jathi.....

Preetha: thum so rahe ho isiliye bol nai payi waise bhi kya hua? Itna gussa kyun kar rahe ho?

Karan: kya hua? Arey mujhe laga thum firse chali gayi pichle do din ki tarah aur jab Mahira se pucha wo keh rehethi ki thum ghar hi nai aayi.lekin kal raath tho thum aayi ho naa but woh kehrahithi wo sab mera weham hein aur thum sach mein nai hein.mein manna lag gaya ki kal raath jo hua woh sab sach nai hein balki meri wehem hein.........but thank god ab thum time pe aayi aur mein thumhe dekha hein .

She looked surprised listening him,karan saw her.

Karan: a...a..ab aise kya dekh rahe ho? Mujhe help karonaa?

Preetha: mein kya karungi.....Sammy ko bulathi hu wait....

She is about to go but stops by his words.

Karan: kyun? Thum ho naa......

She looks at him while he looks at her with a hope.

Meanwhile,Sameer comes and greets them.Preetha excuses herself and he helps karan.After some time,preetha comes with breakfast.

Sameer: chalo bhai......babhi aapki breakfast bhi layi.come on.....

He is about to serve karan.

Preetha: Sameer thum chalo mein dekhlungi karan ko.

Sameer: arey kyun bhabi..   mein khilaunga na?

Karan glares him.

Karan(taunting): Sammy do din se thum hi dekh rahe ho na mujhe ab logon ko bhi mauko do mujhe dekhne kaa.......

Preetha glares him.

Preetha: ha Sameer do din se thum bahot takleef liya tha ab mein hu naa.......thum jaao.

Sameer(smiling): takleef tho kuch bhi nai hein babhi bhai keliye kuch bhi.

Karan(attitude): dekhaa......kaise keh rahe hein meri bhai? Takleef tho unn logon ko hothi jo mujhse bhaagthi hein.....hmm

Preetha raises her eyebrows.

Sameer: lekin dard tho mujhe hein babhi......mujhr bahot mara hein bhai ne!!!

Karan widen eyes.

Karna(hitting him): ayy.....meine kab maara hein tujhe?

Sameer(rubbing his arm): ouch.....dekho abhi bhi maar raha hein.

Preetha: Dekha thumhare paas rahegi tho aise hi dard hi miltha hein(karan glares her)........waise Sameer karan ne thumhe kyun maara tha?

Sameer: thumhe preetha bulane keliye......

Karan understood what he was going to say.

Karan(immediately): chup....chup ho jao aur chali jao

Preetha confused and tried to say but karan makes Sameer get out of room.She stands not understanding anything while karan calls her...

Karan: Oh....hello aise hi khade rahogi ya mujhe dekhoge?

Preetha: mein dekha rahi hu naa....

Karan: Dumbo.....dekhna matlab mera khyaal rakhna.Breakfast layi na thum ab mujhe khila bhi do......

Preetha sits beside him and makes him eat while he looks at her.After that she was removing his shirt.

Karan: Oyy....thum kar kya rahe ho?

Preetha: shirt utaar rahi hu....

Karan: mujhe pata hai thum kya kar rahi thi lekin kyun? (Trying to cover himself) dekho aise haalath mein yeh sab theek nai hein....

Preetha(confused): kya theek nai hein? Kya baath kar rahe ho?

Karan: arey thum....thum tho aise pade huyi insaan ke saath yeh sab kar nai sakthi.......yeh galath baath hein.

Preetha(irritated): dekho agar thum koyi bakwas ki na yeh achi huyi haath bhi thod dungi(he widen eyes).......chup chap reho.

Karan gulped and she removes his shirt.She is moving her hand to touch the wound while karan moves side wards not giving her the chance.She tries but he does the same.Enough of his crazy things,she holds his other arm tightly making him unable to move and she touches the fractured area.Then he understands why she took off his shirt,he sighs and smiles.She was busy checking his wounds and reports while he was busy staring her.

She carefully removes the bandage on his head and dresses it.She checks the shoulder condition.....

Preetha: thum zara aage bado mein peeche jaathi hu taaki mein aur ache se treat kar paungi.

He moves forward and she goes back of him.She touches him to treat him but he feels different.Her touch,her hold on him their proximity makes him lost.

He slowly moves his hand to hold her hand which is on his arm,she looks at him and he pulls her a bit making her backhug him.She widen her eyes while he turns his face to look at her and their noses touch,she seemed shocked.

Karan(looking at her): kya yeh sab sach hein?

Preetha: kya?

Karan: Mein jo dekh raha hu ehsaas kar raha hu......sab sach heina?

With this,she locks her eyes with him.She don't know what to say.

She comes to senses and move herself from him.She goes to his leg which has sprain and treats it while he is looking at her.

Preetha: sab sach hein.....(he looks at her but she is applying ointment) aaj jo bhi ho rahi hein aur kal .....jo hua tha sab sach hein.

He feels very happy at that moment but seemed normal.

Preetha: hogayi.......mein abhi aathi hu....thum rest karo.

She goes while he is in his thoughts.

Karan: boli thi ki sab sach hein lekin kya yeh maan rahi hein? Aur mein kab se manne laga?

AFTER A WEEK

Karan is fine,he can walk, move his shoulder but needs some more rest.Its all because of preetha.She took great care of him in every way possible .

In this week,police couldn't find the person behind the accident as he used fake number plate,knowing this Sherlyn came back happily.Preetha was going when Sherlyn stopped her.

Sherlyn: Kaisi ho devraani ji? Bahot din huyi ham dono milke......

Preetha ignores her and about to go but she stops her.

Sherlyn: arey abhi tho mein baath bhi nai ki......thum ja rahe ho?(she was looking her face) Lagtha hein thum zyada miss kari thi mujhe isiliye dark circles,dull face, no smile.......hmm? By the way great work haa.....ek hafthe mein karan ko treat kar diya.good....

Preetha(dangerously): karan ke baare mein sochna bhi math......

Sherlyn: arey karan ke baare mein nai thumhare baare mein soch rahi hu(preetha didn't understand) mein yeh soch rahi hu ki agar iss baar karan ko kuch ho jatha aur wo bach nai paaya tho thumhara kya hoga?(preetha was scared for a second, Sherlyn smirks) you got it right ? Let me be clear.......ainda mere saath khel math khelo uska nateeja bahot bhari padega thumhe. thum soch bhi nai sakthe ho.Isiliyr mein keh rahi hu......chup chap meri raasthe se hato bach paaogi otherwise you know what I can do.Take care......

Sherlyn goes away leaving preetha with tears.Preetha goes to mahesh room,she is massaging his legs while remembers Sherlyn's words.

Preetha cries.

Preetha: Kya ho raha hein?Meri wajah se karan ko accident hua......meri wajah se wo dard sehna pada.....? Agar accident mein kuch ho gayi tho......(she was scared)m....m....Mein nai dekh sakthi karan ko aise......mein nai dekh sakthi!! (To mahesh) I am sorry uncle ......I am really sorry mein aapko bacha nai paayi aur karan ko bhi bacha nai paayi........mein haar gayi.dosthi mein haar gayi,Rishab ji ko bachane mein haar gayi,Sherlyn ko prove karne mein haar gayi sab mein haar gayi.Mein kuch bhi nai kar paayi uncle......mujhr bahot dar lag rahi hein.... Kahi uss Sherlyn karan ko aur kuch na kare!!!!

She cries bitterly saying her fears.

At evening,preetha comes to her room faintly.She gives medicines to karan while karan sense something wrong.

Karan: preetha.....

She looks at him

Karan: thum theek hona?

She forcibly smiles.

Karan: thum jhut bol rahe ho? Kya hua?

Preetha: me....mein jhut nai bol rahi.thum...thum so jaao.mujhe kaam hein...

She goes out while he is worried about her.She comes back late at night while he slept,she comes to him and kisses his forehead.

Preetha(caressing his hair): meri wajah se yeh sab hua.I am sorry!!!

She wipes her tears and sleeps beside him.

NEXT DAY

Karan left for academy.When he came back he was shocked to see mahesh in the hall speaking with rakhi while everyone are around him seeing him happily,most happy was sherlyn.

Karan didn't believe it and stood still for few seconds,his happiness has no bounds.

Karan(heavily): Dad....

All of them look at him who is crying,mahesh stands up while karan runs and hugs him tightly.He missed his dad a lot......he doesn't leave him,he feels his dad.

Mahesh(caress): karan .....mera bachaa.....

Mahesh also cries.All of them have tears,Rishab and Sameer also joins them.

Karan: dad.......I missed you so much dad.So much.......

After a while,they settle.

Karan: mom kaise hua sab.....dad kaise?

Rakhi: bhagwan ki shukar hein puttar.aaj subah jab mein medicines de rahi thi mahesh ji ki body mein movement huyi aur mein doctor ko bulayi.usne kaha mahesh ji theek hogaya hein puri tarah se.......

Karan gets happy to know that.He again hugs him.Meanwhile preetha comes and is shocked to see mahesh fine.

Preetha: Mahesh uncle.......(tears) aa....aap theek hogaya? Aap.....

Rakhi: ha beta.....mahesh ji theek hogaya hein.

Preetha gets happy and hugs him with tears while he hugs her confusedly.

Preetha: mein bahot kush hu ki aap theek hogaye uncle.......

Mahesh(confused) : beta aap.....aap kaun hein?

Preetha and karan doesn't understand while others get tensed.

Preetha: me....mein hu uncle preetha.

Mahesh: Preetha?

Rakhi(interrupting): Mahesh ji yeh preetha hein......karan ki patni.

Mahesh is shocked.

Mahesh: karan ki shaadi hogayi......?

Rakhi nods.

Rakhi: hmm........aapko pata hein jitna mein aapki khyal rakha hein preetha bhi aapki aise hi khyal rakhi hein.Bahot achi ladki hein......

Mahesh(happy): wah.......karan tera selection bahot acha hein.Preetha bahot sundar lag rahi hei.mein bahot kush hu.(he hugs both of them while they see each other with pain)........waise thum kya karthe ho beta?

Preetha and karan see other confused.

Karan(confused): Dad aap preetha ko nai pehchana?

Rakhi interferes .

Rakhi: physiotherapist mahesh ji karan ki club mein hi kaam karthi hein.

Mahesh(teasing): achaa love at work place.....hmm? Thum dono ki story kya hein?

They don't know how to react.

Rakhi: mahesh ji bahot badi kahani hein.........aap thoda rest kijiye baad mein jaan lena..... please.

Mahesh: theek hein........karan I am very happy for both of you.kaash mein thum dono ki shaadi dekh paatha......it's ok but thum dono ka story mujhe jaroor bathana.hmm......kush raho dono.

He blesses them while they see each other.
Rakhi and Sameer goes with mahesh to his room.

Karan: Rishab yeh sab kya hein? Dad preeta ko kyun nai pehchana?

Rishab(sighing): dad ko memory loss hua......

Preetha: what? Aise kaise?

Karan: haa dad ne mujhe pehchana mujhse baath kiya.....

Rishab: dad ko pichle teen saaal ki pehle hua sab  matters yaad hein.uske baad jo hua unhe yaad nai hein.....

They are really shocked.

Preetha: matlab mein yaad nai hu uncle ko

Rishab: hmm......aap, Sherlyn aur thum dono ke baare dad ko kuch bhi yaad nai hein.

Karan: matlab kabhi yaad nai ayegi

Rishab: aise nai hein.....doctor ne kaha ki kabhi bhi yaad aasakthi hein chances hein.but guarantee nai hein..... filhaal dad theek hein.ham yahi chahte hein naa........

They both nod but still are surprised they spend some time with others and leave to their room.

IN ROOM

They both reach their room full confused.

Karan: preetha kya aise hotha hein?

Preetha: mujhe bhi nai pata karan mein professor se baath karungi.

Karan(tensed): kya iski wajah se dad ko kuch nai hoga naa?

Preetha(holds him through shoulder): Don't worry uncle ko kuch bhi nai hogaa........zyada problem tho solve hua bas yeh choti problem hein woh bhi solve ho jayegi.

She assures him while he hugs her immediately.She is taken aback but she knows he needs this.She also hugs him.They stay like that for minutes untill karan feels good.

Karan(with tears): meine bahot miss kiya dad ko bahot......mein aur nai reh saktha dad ke bina .....

He was afraid for his dad.

Preetha: kuch bhi nai hoga uncle ko hmmm.......ham sab heinaa.We will make him alright(Preetha comes out of hug and wipes his tears.,)......aaj thum bahot roye ho........ab band karo.aise karan Luthra ko koi nai pasand kartha hein.

She smiles and he too.They look at each other.......and unknowingly he holds her hand with his both hands.

Karan: Thank you......thank you so much.

She feels delighted and he kisses them surprising her.Its their moment.

NEXT DAY

At morning,rakhi is guiding servants while Kareena comes speaking with some one.

Kareena: aaj hi heina.....haa .....theekey....thank you mein fir baath karthi hu.hmm....

Rakhi: kaun hein didi?

Kareena: pandit ji babhi

Rakhi: achaa kya baath hein?

Kareena: bol rahe hein ki aaj 9:45 ki mahurat bahot theek hein.subh ghadi chal raha hein......jo bhi karogi uss wakth bilkul success ho jath hein.

Rakhi: achi baath hein.......

Kareena: heina isiliye mein soch rahi hi hu ki karan aur Mahira ki shaadi ki muhurat  nikalwayenge........

Rakhi was shocked

Rakhi: kya baath kar rahe ho didi?

Kareena: ha babhi.......Lagtha hein pichle baar buri wakth mein muhurat rakha hein isiliye bura hua karan ke saath hamare saath. Ab ham achi wakth mein nikalenge muhurat sab theek ho jayegi.buri bhi chali jayegi hamare ghar se.

Rakhi: didi aap hosh mein ho? Aise baath kar rahe ho.......karan ki shaadi hogaya didi fir bhi aap kyun aise kar rahe ho?

Kareena: babhi I know uss wakth aap theek nai hein bhai ki wajah se karan ki wajah se upset huyi lekin ab sab theek hogaya na.bhai theek hogaya hein aap bhi aur karan bhi kush hein.......isiliye meine socha hein.

Rakhi: Kareena di aap hamari kushi dekh rahe hein lekin kushi ki wajah nai dekh rahe ho.aaj mahesh ji theek hone ke peeche preetha thi ...aur

Kareena(interrupting): Stop it babhi mei nai sunungi uss ladki ke baare mein..........wo kuch bhi nai kiya iss ghar keliye.aur wo acha nai bahot bura hein.wo athe hi karan ki accident hogaya.....aap kyun bul rahe ho?

Rakhi(firmly): lekin karan theek bhi uski wajah se hua hein.......(Kareena glares her) di mein iss baare mein nai baath karna chahthi hu.karan aur preetha ki shaadi hogayi hein........aur mahesh ji abhi abhi theek ho rahi aur mein nai chahtha ghar mein firse aise drama ho ki unki tabiyat kharab ho jaaye.meri baath aap samaj gayi tho behther hogaa........

Kareena was stunned by her words when dadi comes.

Dadi: Rakhi jo keh rahi hein sahi keh rahi hein Kareena........iss wakth mahesh ko koi stress nai dena chahiye.samaj lo iss baath.......ab wakth sahi nai hein yeh sab baath karne kaa.

Kareena nods but glares rakhi while mahesh comes.

Mahesh: Good morning Kareena

Kareena: Good morning bhai.kaise lag rahi hein ab?

Mahesh: jaise thum dekh rahe ho......

He smiles while she hugs him.

Kareena: I missed you bhai.....

Mahesh: I missed you too....

He hugs dadi also.They all sit down for breakfast.Sherlyn and preetha are serving.

Mahesh: khana bahot tasty hein.....wah kitne dino baad meine kha raha hu.

They smile.

Mahesh: kisne banaya hein?

Rakhi: preetha ne....

Mahesh: preetha khana bahot acha hein (she smiles) waise aaj kal ki ladikiya hi aise .........

Krithika: kaisi mama ji?

Rakhi(showing preeth): aisi.......doctor hein.Job karthi hein phir bhi ghar ko apni pati ko parivaar ko  itni achi se sambhalti hein.mahesh ji ko medicines deti hein,mummy ji ko excersise karwathi hein,mujhe help karthi hein,aap sab ke saath time spend karthi hein aur karan.......karan ko khud se zyada hi jaanthi hein(karan looks at her).apni job ke saath saath ham sab keliye time deti hein.......ladikiya aise hi hona chahiye.Krithika thum bahot kuch seekhna hein babhi se.......

Mahesh: karan (he looks at him) thum bahot lucky ho aise ladki mili hein thumhe.jo khana hi nai zindagi bhi achi banathi hein.....

They laugh while karan thinks about his parent's words.They completed their breakfast and take off to spend time with mahesh while karan went to his room.

All were at living area when pandit arrived.They greet him but rakhi was upset.

Rakhi(mind): ab Kareena di koi tamasha na kare tho acha hein......

Pandit blesses everyone and sits.

Dadi: aapne ghar aayi hame bahot acha laga pandit ji.

Pandit: hame bhi......Kareena ji ne bulaya hein kisi jaroori baath karne.

Mahesh: Kareena?

Kareena: ha bhai.......mujhe laga aap theek ho gaya na aur ghar mein sab kuch theek chala raha hein isiliye ham koi puja karni chahiye.

Dadi and rakhi are relieved.

Rakhi: bahot achi baath hein didi ham jaroor puja karenge.pandit ji achi tarik bathayiye puja rakhne keliye.......ghar mein bahot din baad ho rahi hein sab acha hona chahiye.

Pandit checks and gives a date while everyone feels happy.Preetha offers him water when he looks at her.

Pandit: yeh?

Rakhi: yeh preetha hein........hamari choti Bahu.

Pandit: Shadi hogayi hein.......mujhe laga aapki shaadi nai huyi mangalsutr ya sindoor nai heina isiliye.

All are surprised while preetha was startled.Dadi notices her.....

Dadi: Preetha thumhara mangalsutr kaha hein?

She is silent.

Sherlyn(smirking): ha preetha kaha hein.......mein bhi kuch dino se dekh rahi hu thum nai pehen rahi.

Dadi(surprised): kyun preetha?

Rakhi: beta Ek shadi shudha ladki mangalsutr pehenni chahiye......aise na pehenegi tho ashubh hotha hein.Jaao jaake pehenke aa.....

Preetha stands still not able to say anything.

Kareena: ab mujhe samaj aagaya ki karan ki accident kyun hua...........thumhe nai pata hein ki shaadi hone ke baad mangalsutr pehenna chahiye. Dekha babhi aapki bahu kaise reh rahi hein.......riti riwaz ko mantha hi nai hein?

Mahesh: Kareena wait.......usse bolne do.preetha kya thumhe koi etraz hein pehenne mein?

Preetha felt bad listening Kareena's accuses and just stood silently with tears.

Preetha(mind): ab mein kya bolu? Mein keh nai sakthi ki mein nai pehen rahi hu bura man jayegaa......mein pehen bhi nai sakthi hu jo ki meri nai hein.mein kya karu?

Suddenly,she felt someone wrapping hands around her.She lifts her head to see karan and realised that he is tying something.

Karan(in her ears): yeh thumhara hi hein........
