"Draco? Where are you?" Hermione practically ran up the staircase.
She rounded a corner and slammed face-first into a wall of human. Draco Malfoy to be exact.
"Aww, miss me already Mi? I saw you trying not to stare at me at the feast," Draco whispered into Hermione's ear, making her shiver. Draco was behind Hermione now and he wrapped his arms around her. Although she wouldn't admit it to anyone, she had a thing for Draco Malfoy. Sure, sharing a dorm with him was hard and his relentless teasing could make you want to hex him to the next century. And although Draco wouldn't admit it, he also liked Hermione as well. The pair had formed an odd sort of friendship after the war and their feelings for each other just made it awkward.
"Is there really a meeting in our dorms?" Hermione managed to squeak out as Draco puller Hermione closer to him.
"Let's find out," He grinned and picked Hermione up as she shrieked and tried to fight her way out with her fists. Her small figure was useless against his muscular body.
They arrived at the head dorms a few minutes later, taking a secret passageway they discovered one night while patrolling the school. Draco placed Hermione on the couch and he proceeded to tickle her relentlessly. "D-Draco, Draco, stop, argh," Hermione shrieked. He continued to tickle her for several minutes. Hermione's shrieks drowned out the sound of the portrait door opening.
"What the bloody hell is going on here?" Ron was standing in the doorway with Harry and Ginny beside him. Ron's face was redder than his hair. Draco immediately stepped back from Hermione and tripped over the rug on the floor. Draco took in the room and its surroundings and immediately saw what was wrong. Some of Draco and Hermione's clothes and blankets were thrown on the floor because of a fight he had with Hermione the other day. They threw stuff at each other.
"Weasley, it's not what it looks like. We had a fight and you walked in at the wrong time," Draco spoke up.
"Oh really, because what it looked like was you were harassing my girlfriend, no, now ex-girlfriend," As Ron spoke, Draco turned to look at Hermione with hurt and anguish on her face.
"I never liked you, Ronald. You were always a self-loving, arrogant prat that never cared about me. You only cared about quidditch and using me for your homework. Well, I'm sick and tired of you and your stupid games. Please leave," Hermione stood up from the couch and started yelling which was the angriest Draco had ever seen Hermione.
"You want me to leave? I only came here to ask about the stupid wiffle and how a phone works. Instead, I come here to see you with Malfoy, of all people, almost shagging and I was...." Ron's babbling was cut off by Hermione connecting her fist to his jaw.
"You just don't shut the bloody hell up, do you? Now go have fun snogging Parkinson, and don't think I didn't see you with her the other day. Go talk to the fancy technology club about your problems. Goodbye Ronald," Hermione finalized.
A speechless Ginny along with a confused Harry dragged Ron out. The portrait door swung shut but it wasn't soundproof. "Let me go. I love her, I still lover her!" Ron was screaming until his voice faded and Draco and Hermione could no longer hear him.
