What a brilliant blind date. "Alice, finally you're back!" Marlene squealed interrupting me from my thoughts. "So, how was it?" Molly asked eagerly.

Blotches of red scattered across my cheeks, thanks Molly you made me blush. "Aww she's blushing!" Marlene squealed. Stupid teenage hormones, that's weird normally Molly isn't interested in all the lovey dovey stuff that Marlene and me say. Well anyway, back to my 'date'.

"Before I got blindfolded I saw the common room beautifully decorated with red and gold banners. All of the couches had been pushed further back and in the middle was a small table with two mahogany chairs pushed up and scarlet tablecloth on top of the small table. The lights were dimmed, very muggle-like. Someone put a blindfold on me and led me to one of the mahogany chairs and pushed me in." Marlene looked really jealous and Molly looked so excited.

Ok, well then. "I used a different more soft voice as an alias so that the guy wouldn't recognise me, it would be awkward if he did and confronted me later about it, because he could be a guy that in real life I did not like. He had an Irish accent. I talked about how I wanted to become a Chaser and he told me to go for it. I was walking away then I just felt and urge of some sort and kissed him on the cheek then ran away.

We had butterbeer to drink and ate Ploughman's Platter which as the 'waiter' said concludes of cheeses, crusty bread, cornichon pickles, apple-beet salad, Branston pickle (pickled diced vegetables) and a Scotch egg (hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat and baked). For dessert I had Chocolate Chilli ice cream and he had Butterbeer.

A dreamy look came across my face as I thought about the date but someone clicked their fingers continuously in my face which 'woke' me up. Marlene looked angrily at me, but Molly just smiled.

"I'm exhausted, so I'm going to bed." I proclaimed. I jumped onto my bed and let the darkness take me away into a deep sleep. I heard mumbles and snores around me but for a second I opened my eyes and Molly had gone. I got up, put my boots and my jacket on and headed out into the common room.

Rarely anyone was down there except a couple of 7th years. I snuck past them and got out into the corridor, I looked down from the staircase and a flash of ginger appeared, it was heading towards the dungeons...
