ONE PERCY
Don't read this unless you have read Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Heroes of Olympus, and Harry Potter. Please comment! I do want constructive criticism too! This is my first story. (I don't really expect anyone to read this book.) I already know there'll be a sequel, and it might be a series. WATCHING THE MOVIES DOES NOT COUNT AS READING THE BOOKS. THIS STORY IS BIASED OFF OF THE BOOKS!
Who are these people? There were weird people attacking me! It's the end of the world! They appear out of thin air, fight with sticks and green lights, and have weird tattoos. I mean, I had a weird tattoo too, but mine is SPQR and a trident. There's were skulls with a snakes coming out the mouth. It was kind of creepy.
Ever since they had first attacked me on the hill I had woken up on two days ago, they never seemed to be gone for more than an hour. Whenever I killed them, it wasn't long before a new one came to kill me, with one more person than the time before. Last time there were three.
So why haven't they come yet? It's been almost six hours, but I knew better than to let my guard down.
As I traveled I heard footsteps behind me. I spun around, uncapping Riptide. The pen had been in my pocket when I first woke up on that hill.
There were suddenly four people surrounding me.
"Okay, can you guys just tell me what you want?" I asked, annoyed.
"You are a potential threat to the Dark Lord," they answered.
"Who's the Dark Lord?" I asked.
"You don't know about him? He's who you people call You-Know-Who!"
"No, I-Don't-Know-Who." I replied.
"But how do you not know?" The man asked. "You're obviously a wizard-"
"I'm a what?" I asked, but the man ignored me.
"Obviously a Pureblood too," he said.
"Pureblood? Is that another word for American?" I asked, "Because I'm pretty sure I'm from New York."
"Pretty sure?" The man said. "How can you be pretty sure about where you live?"
"Well, I kinda sorta lost my memory," I answered. The man didn't talk, so I continued. "What's that tattoo about?"
"What? This?" He said. "It's the Dark Lord's sign."
Who is," I said, taking a guess, "an evil wizard or something?"
"Now I see why you may be such a problem," the man said, "you are way too smart."
"Well you haven't met Annabeth yet, have you?" I mumbled. Then the four of them attacked me.
~*~
I looked down into the lifeless eyes of my enemies, full grown men who I now knew were wizards. If I had to guess, I would have said that the sticks that they fought with were wands and the green light some deadly spell. And yet, I didn't have a scratch. I started to wonder if Annabeth was okay. If she had lost her memory too. I sure hope she's not in the mess.
I also wondered why I didn't seem to doubt this at all. I wasn't sure, but I was willing to bet that my normal life was not that far off from this.
That would be sad. If I had my life in danger every day.
It was only midday, but I was suddenly exhausted.
The last thing I thought before falling into a nightmare was a promise to myself and everyone I knew, should have known, and had ever known, that I wouldn't sleep for long.
