NINETEEN PERCY

So Annabeth, Mr. Lovegood, and I walked or the owl shop.

I wondered what owl I would get.

When we walked in, the door chimed. I looked around and saw lots of owls.

There was a lady there. She had stormy grey eyes like Annabeth.

"Hello," I said. I thought for a second before saying, "Are you Annabeth's mom?"

"Yes, actually," she said. "How'd you know?"

"You look just like her," I pointed out. "We lost our memories though. Is there an owl for us?"

"Yes, right this way, Percy," she said. She handed me a cage with a grayish white owl with some sea green spots (very unusual for an owl, don't you think?) and stormy grey eyes like Annabeth's.

"Thanks," I said. "How much money is it?"

"Consider it a gift for being good to my daughter." She said.

"Then can I at least pay for Annabeth's?" I replied. "I have a lot of money with nothing to do with it."

The lady looked thoughtful. "Does she get her money yet?" She asked.

"No."

"Then why not?" She smiled.

Then she walked over to Annabeth to give her her owl.

We met at the ice cream shop after we had gotten all of Annabeth's supplies.

It was hard for us to read though. I wondered how we were going to make it through the year.

I got blue Cotton candy ice cream while Annabeth got strawberry.

Then we went back to the Longbottom's house.

We were all sitting at the table in the kitchen.

"So Harry is going to come over here for a while before you go to Hogwarts," Mrs. Longbottom said.

"Okay," I replied. "When will he get here?"

"Any minute now," she said.

After a few minutes of silence, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it if you want," I said.

"Okay," Mrs. Longbottom said.

I walked over to the door and opened it.

There was a boy- Harry- there.

"Hi," he said.

"Hi," I replied. I stepped out of his way and he walked in.

I closed the door.

He turned around.

"Who are you?" He asked. "I didn't know someone else lived here besides Neville and his grandmother."

"They're in the kitchen," I said. "I'm Percy." I held out my hand for him to shake.

"In Harry," he replied. Then we walked into the kitchen.

We all sat down.

"So," Harry said curiously, "who are the other guests?"

"I'm Annabeth," said Annabeth.

"You already know me," Mr. Lovegood said. Harry nodded.

"When did you guys get here?" Harry asked us.

"A few days ago," I said. "We were attacked by Death Eaters and apparently their leader Mr. Noseless is back too."

"Mr. Noseless?" Harry said. "Voldemort's back?"

"Yes," Mrs. Longbottom said. "I can't believe you went to Diagon Alley on your own!"

"I can handle myself," Harry huffed. I sent him an understanding look. (Not that I understood how understood.)

"Yeah," I said. "If he defeated Mr. Noseless, then he can take care of himself against wizards."

Harry sent me a grateful look.

"I heard your friend Hermione and Luna have gone missing," I said.

Harry nodded. I nodded back. I really didn't have anything to say anyway.

"I think Draco seems to know where they are," I said. Everyone looked at me.

"You know Draco?" Harry asked.

"Well, no," I said. "I lost my memory. But he seems to know who I am. He seems to know where I come from. And two of us, Annabeth and I, suddenly appeared in the wizarding world with no memories, it only makes sense that wherever we used to be would be where they are now."

No one talked for a while.

"You said something smart, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth said. She put her hand on my forehead as if checking my temperature. "Are you feeling okay?"

I rolled my eyes, and put my hand on her forehead.

"You didn't think of it before me, Wise Girl," I said. "Are you feeling okay?"

She laughed.

"Well, Harry," I said. "Can you tell me about the teachers at Hogwarts?"

"Sure," he replied. "Professor McGonagall is the Headmistress and the Transfiguration professor. She can turn into a cat."

"Cool," I said.

"Professor Sprout is the Herbology professor," Harry continued. "Professor Trelawny is the divination professor."

"What's divination?" I asked.

"Like telling prophecies and stuff," Harry said.

A bunch of pictures flashed before my eyes- a mummified figure that tells prophecies with green mist. Then I saw something that looked sort of like a lightning bolt. Then a boat and some skeletons. Then I felt like eating celery and saw a guinea pig in the mirror. Then a girl dying and her constellation suddenly appeared in the sky. I saw a guy with a scar on his face get hit with a flying blue plastic hairbrush from a girl with red hair. I saw a River flowing in front of me, and I was about to step into it. I saw my parents sleeping in a car and there was a box thing in the back, urging me to open it. I saw the man with the scar stab himself. And finally, I saw that red headed girl spout green mist and say a prophecy of some sort.

It all happened in a split second, almost too fast to comprehend. Both Annabeth and I touched our foreheads with our hands at the same time.

"What?" Harry asked. They all looked confused.

We explained all that we saw, or at least what we remembered. We didn't remember it all though- some of it had slipped from our memory.

Everyone was thinking about all this for a while.

"Well," Harry said, "want to think about this in the morning? I'm tired."

"Okay," Mrs. Longbottom replied.

Then we all went to sleep.
