So, I guess it's time to explain why Thalans aren't around much anymore. Come, let us tell you of the Genocide, the Fall of URART, and Rust Blood's Revolt...

It started back when High Rung decided he wanted to conqueror and kill all other planes of existence, when the secrets of Thala were at risk of exposure to the multiverse...

High Rung was once a prominent member of URART, who thought things could be run better if he was a god emperor...

Except he couldn't control them all...

His answer to this resistance?...

He decided to purge them all.

He constructed and weaponized rippers and stichers in secret to use to destroy the rebellious worlds...

He wiped out all but a few.

The remaining Scrappers and Realm Rippers became angry over URART's inaction, because they didn't see the need to apply any response and decided to just let it happen.

So...

Under the leadership of the Scrapper Rust Blood...

They revolted.

The station burned that day, with all "nonessential" personnel having been sent back to their home dimensions. All extra living areas were empty and destroyed, all storage rooms full...

All URART officials, associates of High Rung, and High Rung himself captured, tortured, executed, and put on display. After that? After that the bodies were burned and released into the void.

That is the story of the fall of URART, the Genocide, and Rust Blood. These days, Thalans scatter themselves among dimensions and the stars, staying sepereate in almost all scenarios to prevent this tragedy from repeating...

Because your biggest losses don't dome from your enemies...

Those losses happen when you are betrayed by yourself.
