22~ It's Karvachauth
Randhir held Sanyukta's shoulder and made her stand. She sniffed wiping her nose with the back of her palm as Randhir held her other hand and took her with him.
'Come, sit.' He said pulling out a chair for her. Sanyukta nodded and sat. She avoided his gaze and wiped her tears. Randhir left her and hurried to the kitchen. She sighed looking up and blinked her tears.
Within minutes, Randhir came and kneeled next to her. 'Here.' He said forwarding a glass of water.
'Thanks.' Sanyukta said in a small voice and took the glass. As she brought the hem of the glass to her lips she remembered she is keeping a fast. She shook her head and forwarded the glass back to Randhir. He is surprised. 'I don't want to drink.' She said.
'But why?' Randhir is confused. Sanyukta looked at him and for a moment considered to tell him, but she wanted to surprise him later and, so she dropped the idea. She simply shrugged and Randhir frowned. 'What do you mean by-' he imitated her shrugging. Sanyukta shook her head and stood up.
'I am not thirsty.' She replied and to avoid any more questions, she turned around and walked away. Randhir scratched his head and watched her go.

Later at the breakfast table. Vidhushi drooled as she served breakfast for everyone. Randhir kept looking confusedly wondering where Sanyukta was. Kishore noted his daughter missing and looked up at Vidhushi.
'Where is Sanyukta?' He asked. Vidhushi stopped eyeing the food and looked at her father-in-law.
'Don't know.' She shrugged. Kishore looked away, a thoughtful expression on his face.
Before anyone could say anything, Aryan jumped up from his seat and announced, - 'I will go get her.' Randhir gave him a murderous look but he didn't bother looking back at him.
Kishore shook his head. 'No need, I will get her.' He placed his palms on the armrest and rose little from his seat when Aryan interrupted.
'Arey No. If I am there then why are you troubling yourself? I will get her.' Aryan said and pushed behind his chair. Randhir held his fork tightly. Aryan looked up at Kaka and said, - 'Plate some breakfast for Sanyukta.' He ordered with full authority. Ankit looked awed while Randhir mentally cursed him.
'Arey, why are you troubling yourself. Have breakfast I will get Sanyukta.' Vidhushi interrupted and took the plate from Kaka's hand. Aryan looked at her menacingly.
'Vidhu! Why are you bothering so much? Aryan, Haina. He cares so much for Sanyukta. Let him go.' Ankit said. Randhir held the fork tighter. Right now, he wished Ankit wasn't Sanyukta's brother. Aryan is grateful to Ankit but of course, Ankit couldn't make out if he was because as usual Aryan remained a blank face.

Aryan felt nervous and excited as he stepped into her room. The door was open. He blushed and looked up and spotted Sanyukta standing by the window. She stared down at the garden. She sighed, and he admired her. Once again, his gaze fell on her back, her hair to one side and he felt annoyed seeing the Tattoo again. He wondered if Kishore knew about this.
Anyway, I don't care. A silly Tattoo can't change my feelings for you. What is in the heart is what matters and I know someday I will be in your heart – Aryan thought with a dreamy smile and an expressionless face.
He knocked the door and cleared his throat. Sanyukta turned around and found him holding a plate with food.
Oh No! Sanyukta mentally groaned. Outwardly, she forced a smile.
'I got breakfast for you.' Aryan walked up to her study table.
'Thanks. I will have it later, you leave.' She said trying to sound polite. Aryan shook his head and walked up to her. Sanyukta blinked at him as he held her hand.
'Come, have something.' He said softly and tugged her hand. Sanyukta shook her head and opened her mouth to protest but Aryan placed his finger on her lips. She froze. 'Shh...' He said trying to sound and look romantic but instead, he looked pathetic.
Slowly, he moved his finger and stared into her eyes, - 'If you don't eat then I won't eat either.' He said sincerely and Sanyukta looked away exasperatedly.
'Aryan,' – She looked back at him, - 'What is this childish behavior. I said na, I am not hungry. Don't force me, please.' She said and slipped her hand from his grip.
'But why?'
Sanyukta sighed, - 'Because it is Karvachauth and I am fasting.' She said.
For me - Aryan's face lit up.
'For Randhir.' Sanyukta burst his bubbles and Aryan's heart fell. Instead, he felt angry. He looked at the plate and wished he could feed her and break her fast.
'Sanyukta, you aren't even married. Keeping fast for him is ridiculous.' Aryan pointed out. She looked at him and he immediately regretted his words. He offended her.
'This is my decision, Aryan.' She said firmly.
Aryan nodded, - 'Okay, does your father know about this?' He asked curiously. Sanyukta shook her head. She folded her arms and sighed sadly.
'No.' Considering him as a friend, Sanyukta told him everything about Kishore's conditions and the fact that he doesn't approve of Randhir. Aryan smirked.

Later in the evening, Randhir was in his room, on the bed propped up on his elbow and working on his laptop. As he worked, someone knocked his door.
'Come in.' He replied tapping the keyboard with his index finger. He doesn't bother looking up.
'Come to the terrace.' He looked up and found Vidhushi at the edge of the bed.
'Why?' He shrugged gesturing with his hand. Vidhushi rolled her eyes and held his arm.
'Come, you will find out.' She pulled him. Randhir is baffled. He protested but when she scolded him sternly he quietened like an obedient kid.
As Randhir silently followed Vidhushi he looked at her attire. She is dressed in blue and white Lehengha. For a minute a wild and crazy thought crossed his mind – Has she kept the fast for him. The thought frightened him. He gulped when they reached the terrace door.
'You-you-go.' He stammered, - 'I remembered-remembered something.' He said. Vidhushi looked away briefly before grabbing his wrist and he looked at her aghast. Randhir looked like he is being taken to a slaughterhouse as she dragged him to the terrace. Vidhushi stopped and he looked around, there is no one on the terrace. He felt sweat beads appearing on his forehead.
'Come here.' Randhir felt like he will faint when Vidhushi dragged him towards a corner.
What is she planning – Randhir thought worriedly.
'Ta Da!' Vidhushi said and Randhir turned to look where she was pointing. He blinked several times on spotting Sanyukta near the parapet. They are well hidden in the corner behind the black water tanks. Sanyukta smiled at him. Vidhushi held Randhir's shoulder and pushed him, - 'All the best.' She said and turned around. She left them. As Vidhushi disappeared around the corner, Aryan appeared at the door. He saw Vidhushi coming out from the corner and when she walked away he tiptoed to that corner. He hid behind the water tank and peeped.
Sanyukta blushed feeling Randhir's gaze on her. She had dressed in the dress she wore on their secret wedding day. Randhir admired her from top to bottom.
'MOON!!!' Sanyukta is startled on hearing Vidhushi's overexcited voice. Her voice echoed in the night. Sanyukta held her dupatta and turned around looking up at the sky. A bright smile appeared on her face when she spotted the moon. She turned around and her smile faded on seeing Randhir's still staring at her. She lowered her gaze and pulled her dupatta covering little of her face.
Slowly, Randhir walked up to her and moved her dupatta. He admired her for a while and then looked down at the Thalli she held.
'What is all this? You kept fast for me?' Randhir asked her softly. Sanyukta frowned.
'Obviously.' She stated, and he smiled.
'Thanks.' He said hugging her. Sanyukta smiled wrapping her free arm around his waist. Randhir felt emotional with her gesture, he felt important.
They stayed in the hug for a while before Sanyukta whispered, - 'Can we do the rituals please, I am hungry.'
Randhir smiled at her cuteness and nodded. He separated their frames, gazed into her eyes and nodded before leaning and kissing her forehead. Sanyukta smiled closing her eyes.
At a distance, Aryan felt his blood boil watching all this. This is not fair. He should be in Randhir's place. He loves Sanyukta more than Randhir can ever love her, but she isn't realizing this. Sanyukta is blinded by Randhir's false love. Aryan is now determined to make Sanyukta see who is the one she belongs to. He clenched his fists and glared at the duo before turning around and walking away.

Aryan...
What are your thoughts on the Chapter, guys????
Precap: 'You know me very well what I can do, Randhir.' Aryan said menacingly. He glared at Randhir as he wiped blood from the corner of his lips.
'What will you do, Huh?' Randhir took a step but couldn't attack as Sanyukta was clinging to him very tightly.
'First stop hiding behind a girl, you coward.' Aryan provoked him. That was it for Randhir, he held Sanyukta's arms and tried separating her, but she was adamant to not let him go. Kishore stood at the door with his heart in his mouth. He is worried for Sanyukta and Randhir.
'LEAVE ME, SANYUKTA. I WILL NOT SPARE THIS RASCAL.' Randhir yelled but Sanyukta held him tighter. She is very scared. She knew very well how dangerous Aryan can be and the thought of losing Randhir frightened her. Without thinking, Kishore hurried and tried separating his daughter from Randhir....

Aryan took out a gun from his bag and pointed at Randhir. He froze and Aryan smirked.
