Nadia finds herself questioning why she agreed to go with the satyr to bring Percy to camp as she feels her clothes stick to her skin uncomfortably as Grover knocks on the cabin door

"Who's there? " Nadia hears Mrs. Jackson asked, Threw the door

"Mrs. Jackson?  It's Grover and Nadia!" Nadia rolls her eyes at that

"Grover?"

"This is a little time-sensitive. Could someone maybe open the door?" The satyr begins threw the door

"What is he doing here? I don't wanna see him. Nadia can come in, but NOT him - Wait, Mom - I hear Percy say to his mother as she opens the door and they enter

"I asked to have the night, and you said we could all leave in the morning." She says and hands Nadia a towel to dry off

Grover looks guilty as he speaks, "Sorry, I'm early, but I didn't have any choice. Things have changed. This is all developing a lot faster than we anticipated." Nadia nods her head in agreement, wrapping the towel around her shoulders

"Early? You should have asked me before you Whatever it is you're gonna say, I don't wanna... hear it." Percy says to them, interrupting Nadia's train of thought, then right at that moment, Percy notices something

"Grover?" Percy says, being ignored

"Okay, so something's coming..." Grover says, ignoring Percy

Grover.

"...and I know that sounds bad..."

"Grover?"

"...but the important thing is not to panic. I'm not panicking."

"Grover!"

"Great! I'm also definitely not panicking. I feel very good about how we're doing so far--" He says, looking around

"Grover!"

"What?!" Hs say look to Nadia and Percy

"Grover, why is there half a goat in your pants?" He says, looking at his legs, then ti Nadia, his eyes asking if she knew she smiles guilty.

"Oh, it's... Oh! Oh, boy, she didn't tell you about... You didn't tell him about me?" Grover glanced over at Mrs. Jackson.

Sge shrugged. "You're early."

"So the important thing is not to panic." Grover begins again

Mrs Jackson grabs her keys. "We'll continue this in the car. Let's go. "

"My job has been to guide you to this moment. It's always an emotional rollercoaster for a young demigod, so providing a support system is really"

"Who are you?" Percy interrupting his talk again as Nadia looks out the window

"I'm Grover. I'm your best friend and "

"What are you?" He asked again

"I'm a satyr. And I'm your Protector." Grover says as if it obvious

"You're my Protector?" Percy 6 in a tone that says he didn't believe him

"If grover hadn't gotten you kicked out of school, you'd have never survived the night. And what's chasing us now would have found you there easily." Nadia finally speaks since she got in the car

"I'm sorry. Usually, I can sense danger coming a mile away, but this time... Well, none of us saw Dodds coming." Grover admits guiltily

"So you knew. That thing that Dodds turned into, you saw it happen? Why didn't you say anything?" He says pointedly

"I saw some of it. The Mist kept her hidden even from us until it was too late." Nadia says, putting her hand on his shoulder

"Mist? What's a mist?"

"The Mist. It's the veil that hides the magical world from the human world. Grover's legs. Dodds' wings. Even Dodds' absence, but isn't supposed to hide things from us." Nadia says, gesturing around

"That never happens. Something powerful is at work here. The sooner we get you to camp, the better off you are..." Nadia says before trailing off

"You told him about camp, right?" Grovers asks

"Not yet, no." Mrs Jackson say speeding up

"Camp is a sanctuary for half-bloods. A safe space where you can learn who you are and what the world is like on the other side of the Mist." Nadia, turning to Percy, says

"Uh, it's not far, actually, just a little ways past the bend up there." Grover points out

"Mom, what else haven't we talked about? What else haven't you told me?" Percy says before noticing something

"Is that the Minotaur?" He asks, and Nadia nods

"Once the attacks start, they never let up. Okay? Dodds was just the beginning." Nadia begins almost shaking in fear
"He is next. He's he is brutal. He is relentless." Grover finishes

"He is still wearing underpants." Percy mumbles, but Nadia hears him and just gives him a look

"The Mythomagic cards were training. Everything has been training for what's still ahead of you." Nadia says

"What's ahead of me?"  Percy trying to figure out what's going on before his mom interrupts them

" Kids," she says

"Yeah?" Ask Nadia, wonder what's going through her mind."I'm actually 24." Nadia kicks Grover, and he winches in pain."Hold on, please." Sally says before turn left really hard and fast flipping the car over.

Nadia groans in pain

"Is everyone okay?"

" Yeah, I'm okay." Percy responds to her

"Okay. This way!" Grovers say pulling Nadia up as she limps

"We're here." Nadia tells percy

"That's the boundary. No monsters can cross it. Percy will be safe on the other side." Nadia tell his mom

"Percy will be..." But won't all of us be safe?" Percy says notices she only says her name

Sally grabs Grover and kneeling to his level
"Grover, I am entrusting you to protect my son, my only child." She says

"Don't worry, Mrs. Jackson, Percy will be totally safe at camp - " Grover begins

"Swear it." She says seriously, and Nadia looks over to her in alarm.

"What's happening?" Percy asks, looking between everyone

"Swear it, Grover! Keep him safe from anyone or anything that comes for him that wants to do harm, that looks at him the wrong way. Do you understand me?!" She says, becoming frantic

" I swear!" Grover yells in a panic

Sally moves in front of Percy, touching his cheek. "I gotta go now, sweetheart." Percy grabs her hand."Go? What do you mean go?"

"I can't go with you." She says getting up

"Why can't you?" Percy holds her hand, not letting go

"She's human." Nadia says in a solum tone

Percy and sally ignore her. "You're gonna need to be brave now. Remember what I taught you. Remember the stories I told you. Especially the stories, they will tell..."

"No." Percy says

"...you everything... " She continues

"No way! Mom, I'm not leaving you!" He say become frantic

" Perseus! Listen to me. You... are not broken. You are singular.  You're a miracle. And you are my son. Hold fast. Brave the storm. I love you." She says before trying to take Percy's coat off him

  "We need to move." Nadia and Grover say

"Give me your coat." Sally says, pulling jt off. Him

Percy lwts her whalie, asking, " Why? What are you gonna do?"

"He smells half-blood. That's what he's tracking," Sally says, turning to Nadia
" Yeah? " she says, confusion in her voice

"That's right." Gover answers more confidently

"So if he smells you in two directions at once, maybe I can confuse him, buy us both a little time to get away." She finishes

"Mom, please, don't -" Percy beges her

"Hey! It'll be okay." She says then kisses his forehead, and Nadia looks away right as the Minotaur starts to get closer

" Go! Now!" She yells at the three kids
Nadia grabs Percy and Grover and starts to run as Sally distracts the monster after them

"Hey! Look!  Come on. Come on." She says right before the Minotaur picks her up
Nadia gets a cold feeling in her chest before she hears a yell - no, not a snip-

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Mom!  Mom!" Percy yells, running toward the Minotaur

" Per-- Percy! Percy, no!" Griver yells
Nadia grabs grovers shoulders. "Go get Chiron! I help him!" She says, pulling out her dagger

Grover groans before running to camp, yelling Chiron

Nadia doesn't remember much of what happend during the battle but as she see Percy laying on the ground and she pulls him up the hill slight with a limp have got injured in the car wreck and now even more injured bleeding from her arm and leg she sees Chiron and some of the campers near Thalia tree and smiles slightly

Nadia hears all the campers talking before she falls over slightly on Annabeth, tired from everything that has happened.

"Is he okay?
"Is he with nadia?"
"Yeah.Yeah, they're ok,"
"Okay."
"He must be the one." She hear Annabeth say to chiron
Chiron waves her off. "Hush, Annabeth. He's waking. Everyone, give him some space, please." Pushing everyone back
"Welcome to camp, Percy Jackson. We've been expecting you." She sees Percy head fall back as he passes out.

So this is like the 5th time I posted this, but it kept being in illtalics, so hopefully, it is not anymore. ANYWAYS, they finally made it to the camp
