Hugh decided they need more help at the forge particularly when Buck was going to be off with Blink looking for flowers. He and buck put out an ad that was so poorly worded, the women in town, led by Lou, revolted. Buck wound up in her bad books . . . again and the ad was retracted.

Lou made up her mind to start a forge of her own and she talked it over with CG. She was inviting an old friend who did have experience, a Petra Swage, and they would discuss setting up a business.

Meanwhile she had to do a favour for CG and she also arranged for Bruce's bail so it was off to county for Lou.

Myna, all agog about her upcoming wedding, sent off a letter to her only family, aunt and uncle Bigbee, asking them if they would come and giver her away. Absolutely, they would leave right away.

If there wasn't enough to keep everybody busy, another stranger came to town professing to meet a singer he'd heard about. This was Chet Pryce, talent scout and Loren was whom he was talking about. He told everything she wanted to hear.

Annie was thrilled to get asked to the wedding and she wanted Brody to be her escort but he passed her off to Will Barter. She wanted no part of that and told him she had written about his financial scandals. That finished Will. She found Brody again and they rekindled until she told him that Lou had bailed Bruce out of jail. Brody was sure he and Shamus were after Lou's teaberry fortune.

There was a huge commotion over Rusty and Juan and something stolen and a lack of food that had everybody second guessing Juan's situation.

Lou had it out with Shamus then she and Bruce got set to leave town. There was a big celebration at the saloon for Lorne's election win and he and Myna were over the moon. Brody on the other hand was under the bar and Annie had help getting him home.
