Astrids POV

I feel the sharp pain vanish and I see colors of red, orange and yellow all fading together until I saw the field. Xavier was standing there, next to the tree where the hammock is, he was holding something behind his back.

I start walking towards him and he looks at me and his smile grows wider. I reach him and hug his torso, I look really happy.

Ditey walks out and comes up to me and Xavier.

''Hey baby, you okay?'' Xavier says, giving Ditey a hug.

''yeah dad, I'm just a bit upset with Arey, he's gotten into a temper again.''

Arey? I thought she went out with Asey. And since when has she been calling Xavier 'Dad'?

''I thought that you went out with Asey?''

''Thats Ditey, Mom''

They give me a confused look. Xavier walks to me and picks me up. I squeal a bit and look at his lips. He looks at mine and dives into my face and kisses me, softly.

''ARGH! No PDA!'' I hear Ditey now and I see her with Asey followed by the Heidi and another boy.

''Hey? Baby?''

''Whats wrong, Astrid?'' Asey asks with worry in his voice.

''You two jus- whats happening? Ther- ohh, I know never mind.''

''Hey mom'' Heidi comes up to me and gives me a single armed hug. I hug her back hesitantly.

''Hey, hows 'Bitchy Shiela'?''

''Being a bitch, as always. She has a new sextoy. His names Robby, I hate him AND his daughter. His daughters worse cause shes always sucking faces with her boyfriend. And she always wants me to call her mom, I told her she can go fuck Rob, she can wish but never get.''

''Lovely?''

''Yeah''

Xavier gets our attention by clearing his throat. ''Okay, well, me and Astrid have an announcement to make, We're having-''

I was suddenly taken out of my trance when I feel a sting leave my body.

''Oh my god! Astrid! Are you okay? I'm so sorry. I- You just- ARGH! I fucked up! I only just met you and I've already fucked up!'' Xavier has tears threatening to fall from his eyes when I get up. I stand in front of him and hug him. He hesitates but hugs me back. He lets go of me and walks to the wall and punches a hole through it.

''Well, I've always wanted a window while I'm takin' a piss.'' I say while Xavier places his head on the wall and starts sobbing. I look at the door and try to plan my escape route. I've never been good in these situations when I used to babysit Asey and Arey.

''Don't leave, please?'' He asks with a teary voice. I look at Xavier. Just like what they used to say.

''Okay,'' I start with a tear develop in my eye and carry on,''But know that... I wanted you to mark me, remember? I told you to do it? It was amazing! It felt better than kissing you, which I thought was beyond compare.''

Xavier walks towards me and I back up as he has a really scary look on his face. I keep walking backwards until I reach the wall. I try looking for a secret button for the wall to just swallow me, but with my luck, I don't. Xavier pins me against the wall and i squeal softly.

''Please don't hit me!'' I shriek at him as he looks at me with sadness in his eyes.

''Why would I hit you?''

''Ohh... Umm, I- You- We-''

''Why would I lay an unfair hand on you? That is completely wrong! I love you, and if I was going to hit you, I would at least wait until you've gone through heat-'' Xavier didn't finish his sentence because i had kissed him, hard and passionately. He lets one arm off of the wall and wraps it around my waist. I put my hand on the back of his head and pull him closer, if it was even possible. We slowly break apart when we realize that someone is watching us.

''Why-'' the girl doesn't finish because she had broke down crying.

''Heidi, baby whats wrong?'' I ask worried

What?'' she asks. I look confused

''What, What?''

''Your being nice to... me?''

''Why wouldn't I? I am your new Step Mom''

Heidi's face lit up and she looked up at me.

''I know you'll be a way better Mom that Sheila. I know it''

She brings me a bone-crushing hug and Xavier joins in,

''Heidi,'' She looks up to Xavier with hopeful eyes.

''You are a smart, beautiful, talented, amazing, young woman, I was stupid for not excepting you as my daughter. Forgive me?''

''OF COURSE!'' Xavier looks at Heidi and crushes her into a massive hug'

''By the way- Its Dad. I love you, Heidi''

''I love you too, Daddy. And you, Luna.''

''Mom'' I say with a pang of love in my heart. I can always make more room.

Suddenly, Ditey and Nikey run in and Ditey hugs Heidi's back and Nikey hugs Xaviers legs.

''Can I call you Dad, Xavier?'' Nikey asks in a hushed tone.

''Same here!'' Ditey shouts while bouncing on her toes.

Xavier looks at them with shock but adoration in his eyes.

''I would love that more than anything... IN THE ENTIRE WORLDDDDDD'' He says while, somehow, Picking them all up at once, spinning them around. Ditey pecks Xaviers cheek. He smiles and pecks her cheek back while resting his head on her shoulder.

"My three monkeys" Xavier sighs and they all giggle.
