Steven King POV

"How long has it been since you saw her? Is it ten years?" the asshole laugh while asking me.

I look at him seriously and drunk the whisky in my glass.

"It's been three long years, but it feels like a hundred years."

"Come on, Steven! You don't have the rights to her."

I smiled mischievously and tap his shoulder.

"Believe me, Matti. I have all the fucking rights to claim her again."

He just shookt his head and laugh out loud.

"Wala naman kayong anak para panghawakan mo pa sya, pare. You should've release your semen inside her womb dude!"

I grabbed my glass and slightly play with the ice.

What ifs! Hmm.

"I let her lived her own life for three years Matti. Hindi ko sya pinasundan o ipinahanap kasi baka iyon na.... baka iyon na yung oras para tigilan ko na syang saktan, but look at me now!" I laughed and drink the other half of the whisky. "I want to be selfish again, Matt! Gusto ko akin lang sya. Gusto ko ako lang yung kailanganin nya. Gusto ko ako yung magpapasaya sa kanya. I know this is a selfish moved to see her, but I am a desperate madman and I will do anything just to be with her again."

Loving someone from a far is so hard for an asshole. Guess what? I am an asshole that's why I can't love her anymore from a far.

"Kung hindi lang talaga nagkasakit si Mama ako ang sasama kay Amelie para layasan ka, but it turns out na mas magaling mag-alaga si Jezkiel kaysa sa ating dalawa." mapangasara na sabi nya.

I grabbed his polo shirt and look at him with my dark aura.

"DO NOT BRING UP THAT JERK!" I said and angrily let go of his polo shirt.

He raise his two hands as if surrendering.

"Easy man! We still have a flight to catch."

Lady Amelie Buencamino POV

"So what do we do now?"

I look at Rhianne and sighed.

Ano pa nga ba ang magagawa namin?

"Amelie!"

Napalingon kami sa kakapasok lang sa kusina na si Jezkiel.

"Aziz wants you to go their."

"FOR REAL!?"

Napalingon silang dalawa sa akin na parang nag-iintay ng sagot ko.

"You're not going right?" Rhianne said.

"Don't go." Jezkiel.

I closed my eyes and think for a little while.

Hindi na ba masakit? Tanong ko sa isipan ko. Napangiti nalang ako sa sarili kong tanong.

Of course! It still hurts, he left me with a deep scar not just in my heart but also in my mind.

"Where are you going, Mommy?"

Napadilat ako bigla at napatingin sa pupungas pungas na anak ko.

"Hey baby. Come here!" mwinestra ko syang lumaput na ginawa nya naman.

Kumandong ito sa akin kaya naman niyakap ko sya ng mahigpit. Kasing higpit ng yakap na dapat ay naibigay ko din sa una kong anak.

"San ikaw pupunta?"

Napangiti nalang ako sa pagbe-baby talk nito.

"Should I go to work?"

Cute na cute na inilagay nito ang maliliit na kamay sa sintido na para bang nagiisip.

"Hmm.... Yes po! Para madala mo na kami ni Steen sa London Bridge." tumango tango pa ito na animo tama ang suhestyon.

"Oh please! Don't grow up too fast my baby girl." sabi ko at niyakap sya ng mahigpit.

"I'm not a baby anymore, Mommy. Steen is the baby, he thinks like a baby." sabi pa ni Azarea at umirap.

"Azarea I told you. Steen is older than you, he is 2 minutes older than you." maarteng sabi ni Rhianne na umirap din.

"Ninang, Steen acts like a baby so it is still correct that I will be the older one--" I cut her off.

"You, Azarea and your brother Steen is always my baby so please just do what I ask you to do alright." I said and smiled sweetly at het.

"Now wake up your brother and just stay here in the house I'll go to the office."

"Amelie!" Jezkiel look so against with what I have said.

"Its time, Richie. K-kaya ko na--- Kakayanin ko."

Mabilis na hinatid ako ni Jezkiel sa opisina at hindi na nagabalang sumama pa sa akin sa loob. Dumiretso ako agad sa CEO's Office at naabutan si Aziz na nagaayos ng necktie.

"I thought your not coming."

"I need too. I am your CFO so I think I don't have a choice."

Natawa nalamang sya sa sinabi ko at tumingin sa full body length mirror na nasa loob ng opisina.

"For now you don't have a choice, so please just hold on tight." sabi nya na ikinangiti ko.

Lumabas na kami ng magkasama at dumiretso sa Conference Room kung saan gaganapin ang usapin tungkol sa kontrata.

Binuksan ng dalawang security and dalawang malaking double doors kung saan kami papasok ni Aziz.

"Hold my hand, my dear Amelie." tinignan ko ang kamay nya na nakalahad at mabilis iyong tinanggap na may ngiti sa labi.

Nginitian ko lahat ng mga bumabati sa amin sa bawat pagsalubong nila sa amin.

"Goodafternoon, Mr. Frossard!"

"Goodafternoon, Mr. Villamor and Mr. King!"

Bahagyang yumuko si Aziz ng makipagkamay sa kanya si Matti.

"Goodafternoon Amelie." bati sa akin ni Matti.

"Goodafternoon, Mr. Villamor" bati ko sa kanya pabalik.

"Too formal for an old friend." puna nito na niyukuan ko lang.

"Let's start talking about the contract." Its the voice that makes my knees tremble.

Are you really okay? Tanong kong muli sa isipan ko.

Why do my knees tremble? Is it because I'm nervous or is it because I'm excited? Oh God! What is it to me? Bakit ba natataranta na naman ang damdamin ko?

Lumingon ako sa gawi nya ng makaupo na ito sa parihabang lamesa tumapat din kami sa inuupuan nito at tsaka naman lumapit si Ashley para sa bagong kontrata.

"AZ Tech Inc. can help you improve your system and blah blah blah blah~~"

Aziz keep on explaining, but here I am keep on looking on his side view with my peripheral vision.

Why am I doing this? Maybe I am just curious. Yeah I am just curious.

"Amelie!?"

"Huh?"

Napanganga nalang ako ng nakatingin na pala sa akin ang lahat ng tao sa Conference Room.

"What can you say about the Financial Estimation? Do we gain or do we lose?" Aziz asked.

Mabilis na hinanap ko ang parte ng Financial Data at tinignan iyon.

"Its a win-win situation for both companies. If you would sign the contract Mr. Villamor and Mr. K-king we c--"

"Why are you stuttering?"

I didn't expect this.

Hindi ko inexpect na mapapansin nya ultimo ang maliit na bagay na iyon.

"Aren't you prepared?"

Biglang nag-init ang ulo ko sa tanong nya at napatayo na lang ako bigla.

This man have a guts to ask me that! How ridiculous he can be!?
