Lady Amelie Buencamino POV

It was a terrifying life without him beside me.

It was the best yet the worst time of my life.

But as what they've said there's always a rainbow after the rain.

"Amelie!" nabalik ako sa hinaharap ng katukin ni Jezkiel ang salamin ng sasakyan ko.

"Oh sorry!" sabi ko ng makalabas na ako mula sa sasakyan. "My mind is preoccupied for a moment." pagdadahilan ko.

"You still think of others while were on our way to our date? Come on! Think of me this time, sweetheart." may pagtatampong sabi nya bago hinawakan ang isa kong kamay.

"Oh God! How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that endearment? Its so gross."

Natawa nalang kaming pareho at tuluyan ng pumasok sa isang 7-Star hotel and restaurant.

"Reservation for Mr. and Mrs. Lyon" sabi ni Jezkiel sa front desk ng restaurant bahagya ko syang kinurot sa tagiliran at iniling ilingan.

"This way Mr. and Mrs. Lyon!"

Mabilis na narating namin ang dulong bahagi ng restaurant kung saan malapit ang salamin at tanaw na tanaw ang kalangitan sa labas na nagnining-ning dahil sa mga bituin.

Jezkiel pull the chair for me like a gentleman.

"Here's our menu." iniabot na ng babaeng staff ang menu nila na halatang nagpapa-cute pa kay Jezkiel. "Our speciality is Tasmanian Salmon fillet with Dutch carrot puree an--"

"We'll get that and Waldorf salad for me." Jezkiel said and look at me. "How 'bout you, honey? Anything else?"

"And a Chinese Chicken salad." sabi ko at binigyan ng munting ngiti ang babaeng staff.

"Add some two glasses of Syrah Red wine. Thank you!" dagdag ni Jezkiel bago ibinaling muli sa akin ang tingin.

Dahan dahang umalis ang babae na animo'y nasaktan na hindi sya muling tinignan ni Jezkiel.

"You're so harsh, Richie!"

"I didn't do anything, sweetheart." nagkibit pa ito ng balikat at pumangalumbaba sa harap ko.

"You should've look at her and say thank you, but you just said that while looking at the menu! My goodness."

"Oh honey! My eyes is only for you not for them." he sweetly said and reach for my right hand and he gently place a kiss to it.

"Jezkiel!" I gave him a warning tone.

"Chill! I didn't do anything."

"Jezkiel you sh--" he cut me off.

"No, Amelie. I won't stop, not now and never."

Silence take place after he said that.

"Come on, Amelie! I didn't ask you for anything.... Just let me do this-- let me love you."

"But Jezk--" he cut me off again.

"Just let me be. I didn't ask you to love me back I only ask you to just let me love you." I sighed in defeat.

He holds my hands and place it on his face, it was so warm yet I still feel nothing.

"It's been a long three years since we ended up here in 'The City of Love' yet you still can't find your new love." I reminisced while staring at the moonlight behind the Eiffel Tower.

Yes. Its been three fucking long years.

"I guess you're really the one for me. Funny cause it seems that I'm the only one who see it that way." the sadness filled his voice.

"You know I don't have the time to love again--" he cut me again for the nth time.

"Stop it. That's the last thing I want to hear from you, sweet heart. I don't want you reasoning just to turn me down."

He slowly put my hand in the table and stretch his arms.

"Why the food is taking so long?"

"Relax. There's the food." sabi ko at imwinestra sa kanya ang paparating na babae kanina.

"Here's your order Mr. and Mrs. Ly--- Its just Miss." I corrected her with wide smile and start taking a bite of salmon.

Our dinner goes well and the midnight came so easily.

"I need to go now, Jezkiel. You should too! You still have work tomorrow."

"Yeah. I'll just finish drinking this whisky." sagot nya sa akin habang ang tinging ay nasa kung saan.

Sinundan ko ang tingin nya at nakitang iyon ang babaeng staff na mukhang nagpapa-cute pa rin sa kanya hanggang ngayon.

"I'll go now JR!" sabi ko sa kanya at tumango tango lang sya.

Lumapit ako agad sa desk ng restaurant kung saan nanduon ang babae kanina.

"Uhm hi! Our bill, please."

"Oh miss, you're boyfriend already paid it." imporma sa akin ng babaeng kanina pa nakangiti na parang nagpapa-cute kay Jezkiel. Those cute dimples and her round aquatic eyes that seems like am ocean is so beautiful.

"Oh I guess I just go now." I'm about to go when I forgot something. "And by the way he isn't my boyfriend."

"Oh sorry miss!"

"It's fine just bring him here in this condominium..." I gave her the address of the new condo of Jezkiel. "The staffs their know what to do alright, I trusted him to you Francesca ." sabi ko at binigyan sya ng maliit na ngiti.

Francesca. She's really something.

Umalis na ako ng hotel and restaurant at iniwan si Francesca na parang nalilito pa.

I really need to go home at may trabaho pa ako bukas. Kung hindi lang talaga Lunes bukas ay siguradong magi-stay pa ako kasama si Jezkiel but it turns out na hindi talaga ako pwede.

It took me 20 boring minutes before I reach our two storey house.

"Home sweet home." I mumbled as I open the door of our house.

"What a nightmare!" napailing iling nalang ako at agad na isinarado ang pinto ng magulo kong bahay.

Isa isa kong pinulot ang mga nagkalat na damit at laruang pambata pati ang mga papel na may naka sulat at ang mga krayolang nakakalat.

"Patay talaga kayo sakin bukas." sabi ko nalang bago tuluyang ilagay sa ayos ang ibang mga gamit na naka kalat.
