Tano POV
I sat opposite from her watching her shiver in a curled up position.
How do I even begin to explain everything that's happening right now ?
As much as I wanted her to be happy there was just so much going on behind the scenes that she knew nothing about.
I stood up and went towards her and pulled the comforter over some more to ease her shivering.

"Thank you" she whispered afraid. I walked away because I couldn't stand to see her behave like this but I'm hoping she will soon understand why I'm doing all of this.

Sophia's POV
Numb.

That's how I felt right now. Nothing made sense to me at this point in my life. I was tired of being in this stupid pattern of being transported from place to place unwillingly and just all of this action. This is not the life I wanted for my self.
I wanted to be a mother. The thought of it made my eyes fill with water. I wanted to be happily married with my own business specializing in women's health but yet here I am going God knows where tied up on a boat.

The boat finally came to a halt and I hear his footsteps coming back to this room.

He footing was off so I figure he was hesitant to touch me. However, he came close and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. I pushed my face away from him.
He untied my feet and help me stand up.

"Don't do nothing stupid Sophia or I won't be able to help you" he said to me in a warning tone?
"Be able to help me?" I said mockingly "I wouldn't expect you to help me considering the position you have me in right now" I responded back annoyed.

"I'm one thing but the person you're about to see is on a whole other level." He said before pushing me towards the exit.

"Who am I going to see?" I asked him eventually. He took a while to respond but then said "You'll see"

Sighing internally I was just truly tired. I've lived more than just life I've probably done it all but I'm tired of it now.

He helped me into a car and I was in between two other people. We were driving in complete silence.

Losing track of time I found myself asleep on the person next to me. I felt the person move and that resulting in me waking up immediately. I was pulled out of the car and they helped me walk into a building. I went down some stairs and I heard a crowd of people but we were passing by the noise and kept going.
When they finally stopped me I heard a voice speaking.
"Have them take him away" he said to someone.

"Uncover her eyes" he said and suddenly a fear gripped me. I was afraid of what was going to happen or who I was about to see.
Once they uncovered my eyes I came face to face with a man who was at my wedding.
It was Aiden's father.

"Hello Sophia, it's been a while. How are you doing?"  He was seated on his own personal throne and there were body guards standing all around him. He presented himself as if he was God.

"I don't understand" I mutter because I was confused as to who he really was or what was he really doing? Why did he have me here?

"Yeah, we'll I don't understand either what these men see in you enough to abort the missions I gave out to them" he shrugged.
"So I had to bring you here myself sweetheart"
"At least someone can follow instructions but just had to be extra"  I was definitely confused.

"Call him in" he tells his security. He then left and returned with Tano.
Tano made brief contact with me before walking towards Daniel. He then kneeled, "in what part of my instructions, did I say to shoot my son?"

"I was doing as you said, whatever it takes to get the task done. He wasn't willing sir and I had no time left"
Daniel stood there with his face stoic. "Okay, well, it's a bullet for a bullet." He took a gun from his body guard and shot him. I screamed aloud because I wasn't expecting that to happen.

"Lucky for you Tano, I won't kill you because you're a good worker and I still have things for you to do" I was terrified of this man. I have never seen him like this.

"Now, Sophia you have something that I want. I tried to do this the nicest way possible but then my son fell in love so that went out the window"

" I want your inheritance, lucky for you I saved you all the hard work. I went ahead and got all  the documents here for you" 

"You did this all of this for money?" I asked exasperated.
"Sophia you don't understand do you? You think your daddy was this smart to run this business by himself? He took my ideas my time and all my hard work and slapped his name on it. Technically all that shit belongs to me. But anyway this is deeper than that"

I was at loss for words. " Tell you what I'll let you think about it because I got some business to handle" he said before standing up. "Take her away"

Some bodyguards picked me up and pushed me to into a room. There were 2 bunk beds and a no window. After they shut the door I burst out into tears and began wailing. This couldn't be the life I am living right now!

Everything was just going crazy at this point in my life.
After what seemed like hours. The door opened and a body was pushed in. The person fell flat face to the ground and they were bloody.
" clean him up" they gave me towels and first aid kits.

When the person turned I immediately gasped because it was Tano.  His clothes was teared. I help by taking the scissors and cutting his shirt to see the damage. It was like he was whipped all over his back. I gasped again and began crying and panicking because I was deadly afraid that he would die and I didn't know what to do or where to start.

And then a light finally turned on and before you know it I realize there was a glass wall next to me. It was just a regular wall it was glass and we could see the other room.
There was a little boy playing with a security guard.
Tano opened his eyes slightly and tried moving toward the glass wall.

The door opens and in comes Daniel. He greets the little boy with a smile. The little boy then hides behind the security. Daniel stoops to the boys height and tries to talk to him, he pulls out a toy and gives it to him. The little boy hesitated but eventually gave in and took the toy.
Daniel then looks in my direction, "so you know that I'm not a liar" he says before walking out.

"Miguel" Tano tried to muster the strength to call that name. Then I looked at the boy and realized they shared the same features.

I look back at Tano and he's on the verge of tears.
"Brother, I'll save you" he said before passing out.
