Sophia pov

Finally I felt so free. This journey that we've been on has beeen wiiiild. Beyond wild. It was actually a little exciting not the potentially could die part though. Everything except that part.

Me and Aiden wanted to celebrate with everyone on the team, so we rented out this place in Miami and everyones staying here.
There's a pool and we're close to the shore.

Currently I was in my own bikini in this wonderful pool, I knew for a fact I had to get out soon because it was already past 5 and the party should start sometime soon. Aiden had left to get the food and drinks regulated , he should be back soon.

I just wanted to see the sunset go down and then I swear I'd be on my way.
Suddenly I heard a splash. When I turned around I see Tano come up out the water.

"Heyy, you frightened me"
He shrugged but smiled "I think that was the point"

"Enjoying the view?" He came next to me and we were both watching the sun go down slowly but surely.

"Yeah" I whispered. "I'm so happy we're all here. This is so exciting. Like who knew I'd be friends with a whole gang, my mom would have a heart attack just saying the word" I snorted but he laughed.

"I know what you mean. This has been an interesting couple of months, too bad its coming to a close" he said but I hint sadness in his tone.

"What do you say it like that?" I asked him. He looked at me "the party tonight is not just a celebration party it's one of goodbye" I don't why but I feel my heart sink a little. I had already grown to these people. They're like my family now.

"An-and what about you?" Tano of all people was my favorite I annoyed him most of the time but I knew he liked it. That was just how our friendship was.

"I gotta go back home Soph, first class to Italy tomorrow" I took a sharp intake of breath and my eyes began burning with tears ready to spill out.

"Why didn't you tell me? We could've done something before you left" his face was pained at the sight of me at this point.

"Soph I'm sorry, I just wanted to skip the emotional goodbye and go, for this reason" he wiped the tear that slipped out.

"Who- who am I going to annoy when Aidens not around ? Or make upset because of my corny jokes or-" he didn't let me finish before pulling me in for a hug.

Tano pov

For this very reason is why I couldn't stay long.
I knew she'd be upset because of all the time we went together we've come to be good friends now. She still annoys me.

I felt my heart break when she started crying.
I'd do anything to stop those tears. The best thing I could do is offer her a hug.

She pulled away slightly, I don't know why but I kept her close. She looked up at me with those teary eyes and red nose.

She looked heartbroken and I wanted to fix that but I just couldn't. I had to go back home.

We were so close that I could actually k..-

"We're setting up Tano we need you sunny boy" Eligio said from far, I turned around and nodded at him "be right there brother"

I turned back at her but she'd already pushed back further. I took some water in my hand and washed her face.

"Stop all that crying" I joked "if you want you can call me anytime." I offered "who knows I might even surprise visit you guys" I shrugged as I walked out the pool.
Leaving her behind.

Aiden POV

I had just picked up all the food we ordered from our chosen restaurant and drinks with ice filled jugs.

I wanted to see my woman, take a shower and get ready for the party.
We came a long way and tonight was us ending of all of this madness that has happened and finally continuing with our lives together.

I walked into the room and I hear the water running , I sneaked in but then she shut the water off . When she open the shower door she got frightened. "Aiden!" She exclaimed
I laughed at her reaction.
"I'm sorry baby" I grabbed her towel for her and passed to her. I pulled her in for a hug.

I pulled back to peck her , when I observed her face it looked like she been crying. "What's wrong baby ? Were you crying?" She shook her head.
"I'm just gonna miss everyone." I nodded understanding.

"If you want we can invite them over for holidays or party's" she looked at me and smiled a little bit.

"That'd be nice" she responded as I pulled her in for a hug again.

To tease her I unwrapped her towel slowly " so you tryna go back to shower?" She blushed and rolled her eyes "no I just showered you know how long I take to get ready" I shrugged " you're face is already beautiful babe you literally don't need any makeup"

She pouted "but I want to, because I like it" I sighed "alright fine .." as soon as she was about to go I lifted her over my shoulder and headed for the shower.

"Aiden!!" She started laughing "put me down" she yelled
And I did as she told me to but we were already in the shower.

"Really" she slapped my chest playfully "what ?" I chuckled "I put you down" I teased
"Besides I was outside and I stink so when you hugged me you got dirty" I smirked but she only blushed "fine, but I'm not staying long"

"And you still have your close on" I shrugged "I know but I didn't want you to go far" I then began removing my clothes.
Let's just say .. she stayed longer than she wanted to.

Sophia pov

I literally barely had time to do my makeup so I just did the basics.

"Voila, you look so gorgeous" Aiden praised me. I stuck my tongue out at him.

He stood by the closed door. I couldn't help but admire the way he looked. I walked towards him and hugged him. I felt him kissed my head as he hugged me back.
I pulled back a little to see his face "everyone is waiting for us" he pushed my hair behind my ear.

I nodded , I could stay like this forever. I was just comfortable with him in this moment. I hugged him and as if knowing what I need he embraced me.

We were outside the house on the sand and the lights looked so beautiful.
We were having a blast. Everyone was telling their side of the story about everything that happened.

"Yo I said this bitch is crazy" Emilio expressed and we all laughed. "Nah for real, she risked her own life by shooting at the bomb. That's my only explanation for her actions" he raised his hands in defense.

"Amigo, what about when the guy laughed after Sophia shot him in the shoulder" Eligio said
He sucked his teeth and shook his head "Another lunatic"

"I know y'all were all really surprised when y'all saw Sophia pull up" Jeremy stated bringing the attention to me. Everybody started screaming their responses and all I could do was laugh.

"Listen I was so shocked, I saw you but I still had to ask if that was you" We laughed at Romeo's statement

"Nah for real we had to double check cause I wasn't sure what was going on" Alvin shrugged.
" sis said tell your men to stand down"
"Shit sounded so confident I got a boner"
"My amigo said salute" he did the military salute. Mario said and I busted out laughing while Aiden glared at him " sorry boss and Sophia, but in my defense I had no idea it was her" he shrugged.

"Who taught you how to use the gun girl ?" I pointed at Tano "he did" he smiled "that's why you went missing , about you got fired" Anjelica slapped his arm playfully.

"I'm so glad this is all over, but I'll miss you guys" they all " aawwed" at my comment. "You guys became family over time and it's just going to be hard saying goodbye to all of you" I pouted.

Aiden stood up and stood beside me and held my hand. " I just wanna thank you all for helping and coming out knowing that your life might be at risk, just for the sake of protecting my family"

"This means a lot to me, I'm happy this turned out to be a success but also to be reunited with you all. I just don't want us to go years without seeing each other again. My wife would also love to see you guys again"

"So I say a yearly reunion and Invites on holidays" he suggested and everyone agreed.

"Cheers to another successful mission" everyone raised their drinks and drank from it including myself.
He kissed my head again and everyone went about their conversation again.

As everyone left it was just me and Aiden left. "I'm so ready to find my bed" I started walking towards the house but her pulled me back.

"Wait one minute there wife" he side hugged me as we watched the ocean.

"I'm gonna miss everyone but I'm also happy because I finally have the time to focus on you" I looked up at him and I could see the sincerity.

"I took a whole month vacation , so we can go wherever you want whenever you want" he turned to stand in front of me.

"Before this whole thing happened I decided I was going to focus on loving you but mostly myself. I didn't want you to feel small. I don't wanna project what I feel or what I do on you neither that's not fair to you. This all started off on the wrong foot. I know it was a forced marriage, I know I was controlling but that's how father taught me to be and I apologize for it. I always said I never wanted to be like him and there I was doing the same thing. That's not who I want to be." He caressed my cheek

"I want to be that man who makes you happier than you could ever imagine. That man that make you smile till your cheeks hurt. I wanna be that man who's gonna raise your kids into game changers. Whatever they want to study or become they'll do it in excellence . I wanna be a better man so that I can teach them how to be a good man to their future wives. "

He looked me deep in my eyes " I guess what I'm saying is , I want a do over" he went down on one knee . I covered my mouth in shock.

"The first time I didn't even give you the experience of me proposing but umm i hopped from country to country, had people shoot me, fight me and none of that stopped me from reaching to you and I'd do it all over again. I know it was all my fault too but I hope you understand how much I love you out of all this. I know these past months were terrible but you melted my stony heart and made it flesh again... let me make it up to you for the rest of your life , will you marry me ?... again ?" I chuckled face stained with tears. "Oh my God , Yes" I nodded as he placed the ring on my finger.
He got up and hugged me I pulled back to kiss him.

Everyone deserves a second chance even though we started out rough. Things had certainly changed over time. Now I can actually say that I would want to marry this guy. Crazy huh.
