Chapter 54
The sounds of my pleasure slipped from my lips as my husband slip between the folds of my heated flesh and sink into my wetness with deep thrusts by the breathy request that erupted from my scarlet red lips as I gripped his shoulder and rocked my hips to meet his obedience.
"Hurry!" I breathed as I tipped my head back, closed my eyes, and let the sweet sensation of the release build from the tips of my blood-red painted toes that curled inside my gold ankle-strapped backless five-inch heel slippers.
"Ooohh yesss," I moaned as its fiery sensation slide up my leg, to my thigh that was gripped by strong lean fingers to hold my hoisted leg in place against a thrusting hip that was splendidly driving forth my imminent release. As it pooled in the depth of my heated core I trembled and call out the one name that could drive me wild.
"Dan!"
"Yes Les, let go fi mi."
"O God baby!"
"Yes that's it"
I felt myself shatter into a million glorious pieces as my release swirled about my sexually fulfilled body only to then in surprise have my husband pull from me, turned me around, bend me over, and re-entered me from behind.
I giggled both in delight and surprise as my heat was filled with him again and he said huskily, "My turn."
With a hand on my shoulder and one gripped between the dip of my waist I let him have his journey down the precipice of pleasure. I too found myself once again falling like a floating feather down the precipice as the hand by the groove of my waist slipped to my slippery sensitive nub and his nimble fingers rubbed it as his thrust became more frenzied.
We dived like flightless birds and glided on the tremendous sensation of fulfillment as one.
I was about to speak my love for him as I righted myself and turn to face him when a muffled voice called from behind our locked hotel room door.
"Dan where are you man?! You got fifteen minutes to meet up with the bridal party."
"Ok," he called out as he looks at me with a smile before I leaned in and kissed him deeply.
I pulled away and let my eyes take in the neatly trimmed mustache and beard he now sported it highlighted his features in a sexy rugged way. My heart fluttered with my deep undiluted love.
"Thanks, baby," I smiled as I rushed to the bathroom to clean myself, touch up makeup, and fix a few flips in my now longer pixie cut that had bleached streaks mixed with my signature burgundy glow.
I smiled pleased with my appearance. My ginger eyes under its gold eye shadow and slender Cleopatra streak shun with happiness, my glistened scarlet lips had an upward tilt of genuine delight.
When I return to the room and grabbed my bouquet from the bed where I had discarded it when I practically came in a jumped my husband. We both should have been with Ian and the others by now but my need had him now getting dressed and me hastily making for the door.
I best get to Abbey and the others before they sent a search party for me too. Some maid of honor I was running away to steal a quickie with my husband but whenever I suckled little Tahiem I had a strong need for my husband.
"Les baby," I heard him call as I reached the door.
"Yes, hun?" I paused.
"You're leaving your panty."
I hurried to him smiled broadly as I took the dangled bit of lace and slipped it on before I rushed on down the hall to where my girls waited with Abbey the epitome of a beautiful bride.
My mind drifts back to months prior as I slipped into the room where Estelle, Neisha, Cynthia, and Kimberly stood attired in deep cherry red infinity dresses the bodice tied in a different style about their upper body to float down to their red peep-toe heels.
The bride and myself too wore infinity dresses hers however was the custom white, mine was of a wine red and I wore gold accessories where the bridesmaids were decked out in all red. Abbey's dress had a custom-made removable train that gave her dress the appearance of a gown. She wore on her french twist coiffure a tiara of ruby red that matched her accessories and red bejeweled stiletto heels.
To call these bunch of women beautiful was an understatement. It was a sight to see how each complimented Abbey and enhance her on this special day splendidly. They were standing there each holding hands heads dipped together as Cynthia shared something that caused them to erupt in laughter and the photographer on hand found another perfect moment to capture.
I tried not to cry as Estelle held her hand out to me and I walk up and took it and so the circle was complete as I held on to my soon-to-be official sister's in-law hand.
Neisha softly whispered a prayer. It was all the things I would have said but was too caught up in the memories of the past to utter them. Circumstances that could have made this moment only a dream sent me back seven months ago.
We have gone through so much. I shivered slightly as I recalled the sound of my cell phone ringing. I had just placed Tahiem down for his evening nap and made to go to the kitchen to prepare dinner as Daniel would be home from his lecture at the university in a matter of hours.
I smiled when I saw Abbey's number. I answered then placed it on speaker as I made preparations for steam fish with yam, dumplings, banana, and corn. I was placing the pack of crackers on the counter when I heard her distraught voice saying that Ian was in the hospital.
"What?"
"Oh gawd Leslie!" she wailed. Mi man Les, mi man!"
I had no idea how to react to her wails or the distraught words that erupted from her as I looked to see that Silas Ian's business partner was ringing my phone.
The beeping of an incoming call I know was going to add clarity to something I knew I was not going to be able to tolerate rendered me numb. I stood there just staring as I heard Abbey bawled and other voices trying to calm her as my mind drifted to the fact that it was only a weekend ago we were all celebrating both my brother and Abby's engagement.
"Take her to the car," I heard a male voice said before it came on the line. "Mrs. Myers this is police sergeant Berris Richardson from the High Gate Police Department."
I knew this was not an introduction I would be pleased about. "I am saddened to say that your brother has met into an unfortunate situation at his establishment."
He paused as if trying to figure out if I was still there and when my brain weaved its way out of my turmoil with much I whispered a response "What situation?" I dreaded the reply.
"His establishment was set upon by robbers and unfortunately he was shot in an altercation between him and one of the suspects."
I did not know what to say. I did not know how to react. I did not even know where to begin to work out all that was being said to me. I know he was still talking but I could no longer tell what was being said.
I knew I ended the call and slumped against the refrigerator as I thought over and over that this was a bad dream. I must have dozed off with Tahiem and was having a bad dream.
The phone kept on ringing but I got my bearing when the familiar ringtone of Daniel filled the kitchen followed by Tahiem's distinctive wail from his bassinet in the living room.
I reached for it and open the line but the sound of Dan's voice send all the emotions rushing from the pit of my stomach and I sobbed as I made to answer, all I could think of was that Ian and I had spoken just a few hours ago.
It had been a nightmare and it had filled me with so much fear that I was going to lose the only other physical part of Ilene that remained. I knew I had made it to Tahiem under Dan's calm instruction as he told me to get ready he would meet me at the hospital as he was sending Peter over to get us.
It had taken Ian five whole months before he was able to leave the hospital on the result that he could recuperate at home, as it had taken two surgeries to finally remove the bullet that was lodge in the abdomen and nipped his intestine causing matter to spill into his abdominal cavity creating the potential for deadly infection, but now two months later he was about to be a husband.
As the others around me whisper Amen, I thankfully joined in as today marked a testament to the fact that I was not robbed of my blessings only given more.
Ian's pretty much alive and well and is now waiting in the gardens of the infamous Negril's West Shades Resort and Spa where his marriage to the woman who loved him heart, body, and soul was about to commence.
"Let's go girls," I beamed as we were instructed it was time to proceed the bride to the garden.
