I am so excited for the evening. Really. I am just waiting to meet Viraj. But u know, when we want something. Time tests our patience. Time is not even moving an inch. It's like years for me. I was just staring at the clock.

" Time won't run if u glare at it. " Arush bhai came in.

" I am not glaring. Neither I am waiting for something. " I said.

" Really?? " he asked.

" Ya. What is there to wait for? " I said.

" U know what? Viraj is my best friend. So I know. " he said.

" Oh OK. " I said.

" Seriously are u not excited.?? " he asked.

" Yes I am... " I shouted. He laughed.

"Okay u are my bhai right? " I asked.

" Ya. " he said.

" So tell me what is the surprise.? " I asked.

" Don't know. " he added.

" I know about u and Icha. " Dada said.

" What? " bhai shouted.

" Then why is all these.? " he asked.

" Just to scare u. " I said.

" Dada. I know about Aastha. But u too. " bhai said.

" Beta. I know. But your face is worth seeing. " Dada said.

" So all these photos are just to scare me? " bhai asked.

" Yes. " we both said.

" U both scared me to hell. " bhai said.

" U too scared me all these years. " Icha came in. We all really had a fun time. In this I lost the track of time. It's evening. I went into my room and started getting ready.

After getting ready I went to Icha room. She was so beautiful.

Veer joined us. He too looks great.

We went down. I saw Priya also. She is also not looking bad.

I averted my gaze.

" Bhai. Since two days I am not able to find anyone. All are busy all the time. " Priya said.

" Yes. They are. " I said.

" Priya. U shouldn't talk to her like this. " bhai said.

" Bhai. U scolding your sister for someone outside. " she complained.

" Who ever it is. Learn to give respect. " bhai said.

" Sorry. " she said. I just nodded at her.

She came to me and hugged.

" Don't worry. U are not permanent here. " she said. I gave her a look. We - will - see.

Then Viraj came down. OMG. I stopped breathing at that moment.

As soon as he came down. Priya ran to him and hugged him. I am fuming now. I didn't like it at all. But I can't do anything. He too hugged her I think with all the love. I looked away. He came.

" We are getting late. Let's get moving. " he said. We all nodded.

We all went towards cars.

" Viraj. Let's go in that car. Only u and me. " Priya said. What? Viraj say no. But he said something else.

Soon we reached the venue. Everyone are so busy. But Veer and myself are finding it so boring. We sat to a corner. After a while. I saw bhai and Icha dancing. Oh. So dancing started. I saw even Viraj and Priya. Now I can't take it anymore. Viraj saw me and he pulled Priya even more close. Stupid. I got up to go out. But someone approached me.

" Hii beautiful. Can I have a chance to dance with u.? " he asked. I saw Viraj.

" Ya sure. " I said. He took my hand and led me to dance floor. I started dancing with him. I was looking at Viraj. He was angry. I don't know why?? I am jealous because I love him. Why should he be angry as if he is my boyfriend.? Wait. Does he too love me.? I thought for a while. That imagination was so good. But what if it's not true.

The music came to an end. When I was about to go, the same guy asked me to join him for dinner. I didn't know what to do.

" No actually she is having dinner with me. " Viraj came in between.

" Oh okay. May be some other time. " he said and went away.

" Why did u lie.? " I asked him.

" I didnt lie. " he said.

" Oh ya. When I did I say that I will eat with u. " I said.

" I didn't say that u said yes for dinner. I said u will have to have dinner with me. " he said.

" and why is that? " I asked him.

" U will only see come. " he said

" Time for surprise. " he added. I got excited.

He took me to up stairs. After reaching the floor he closed my eyes.

Then I think we went into a room. After that he opened my eyes. What I saw is...

That is so beautifully decorated. But I didn't see him. But I saw what is written. I LOVE U. That was just like a dream.

" Viraj.. " I called.

" Come inside. " I heard a voice. I did. Then I saw him on one knee.

" Aastha. I know that our lives are so complicated. The way we met is also not a good one. Fate played with us in different ways. Which gave only pain to us. But with every fight and loss we came together. U did mistakes. And I too. But it's just like we were meant to do those for each other. When I lost Priya. I never thought I will love again. I will never find love. But u came into my life and melted this cold hearted person so easily that see now I am on my knee. U made me do this. Actually dons are not easy. U too. 😜

But I just want to say one thing. When I first saw u crying in my car for help on your fake wedding. I scared u to be silent but I wanted to hear your voice, see those eyes which are so beautiful. At that time I didn't know that I will fall for u who is sensitive, intelligent, emotional and not so innocent girl. I will not make any false promises. I don't want to.

I just want to say that I will catch the first tear drop from your eye and will not let second one to come out. I want to be reason behind your smile. I will make sure to fight every day with u for silly things like we always do but u will be the only one whom I want to be with till my last breath. Will u honour me to marry u?? " he said. OMG. This is really happening.

I was crying.

" Yes I will. " I said. He slipped the ring.

He hugged me. I want the time to stop. I don't want to move at all. No way. I just want to stay like that. For ever.

" I love u. Don't ask me when and how. When I saw running behind your mom. May be from then. Or even before. I am really sorry for what ever I did. But I love u so much. I want to be yours forever. Even I want to be reason for your smile from now. " I said. He again hugged me.

" I love u. I got something for u. " he said.

" This is so beautiful. Thanks. " I said. He kissed my forehead.

" So my lady love was jealous back then. 😘" he said.

" Yes I was. But u too were. " I said. He laughed.

" So will u dance with me shona. " he said. I gave him my hand. Here is my beautiful life from now on.
