It's been almost a whole month after Lucy's family came to the hospital to see her. Not once in that week has Lucy opened her eyes.
Today, there was only Natsu to visit. He had asked the Heartfillia family what the nurse had told them, as a friend of Lucy's he needed to know, so did all the others. Felen was the one to tell them what the nurse had informed them.
During those days the family staid in the mansion they had outside of town and visited Lucy often to see if she'd awaken in the time of their visit. Unfortunately, she hadn't.
Everyone visited, Cana, Mira, Lisanna, Levy, Gajeel, everyone.
Plu was being taking care of with her family, and sometimes even he was here.
Natsu visited her the least. He didn't want to see her as she was, not that he didn't 'want' to see her, he did, all the time. But the state she was in now, he couldn't bring himself to come and visit her all that much.

" Lucy. "he called her name softly, slipping his hand onto hers." It's been awhile, I'm sorry I haven't visited as much as I'd like to. "
He talked to her when he visited, he was alone when he did, he knew she couldn't here him, but it was nice and a bit assuring she would be alright, he did hope she could hear him even in the sleeping state she was in.
" Ya know, it's been lonely. I heard from Erza the day you came in here, you didn't want to break up with me. But couldn't bring yourself to tell me you felt as a burden... I'm sorry I hadn't noticed sooner. Maybe if I did, you wouldn't be here. "
Silence...
" I've been wanting to apologize for my behavior when you broke up with me. I didn't want you to leave, but I took it to far. I'm sorry. "he squeezed her hand lightly." I've been wanting to ask you something for awhile, but I got to nervous to ask. I find it kinda silly. "
He chuckled a bit in the silence." Well, it's beginning to get late. I'll-"he stopped, looking down to her hand as it clasped tightly to his. "" Lucy... Please wake up... "he finally felt tears drip from his eyes and fall down his cheeks. Drops splashed onto her hand. He clenched his teeth." I need you Lucy... I can't do this without you, I don't know if I can go on another day with you being here... Suffering... Lucy, please... Open your eyes. "
His head lay on her chest as he cried." Wake up! I don't care if you hate me, slap me, kick me, I don't care! Just wake up! "
He jumped, feeling a hand slip on his shoulder. He looked up, but to his disappointment, it wasn't Lucy's. It was Gray's.
" Haven't seen you like this before, had me kinda scared there for a sec. "he stated. Natsu sat up, wiping his tears." You look like a baby when you cry. "
" Shut it. "Natsu growled, Gray shrugged, letting a soft smile spread on his lips.
" Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. "he assured." Erza cried too, and it's Erza who did. "
" I would never think she would be one to cry. "Natsu said.
" Me neither, but she did. "
Natsu sighed." Lisanna's been pushing me into a relationship with her, but she can't accept I love Lucy and I won't be with anyone else but Lucy. "
" Don't worry about Lisanna, she's only going for you cause you're so soft on her when her family is having a bit of a rough time. The cafe may go out of business cause of the mall that opened up here. It's got cafe's in it,taking away their customers. "
" I heard, I wish we could do something about it, that's our hang out place. "
" Lucy's dad was kind enough to give them some money so they could continue running the place. "
Natsu staid quiet, continuing to stare down at Lucy. Gray sighed, walking to the window and taking out the dead flowers and replacing them with new ones everyone had bought for her. He threw away the old ones and sighed. He looked up to a balloon tied onto the end of her bed saying "" Get Well Soon" on it.
Also adverting his eyes to presents laying on the couch for her, some cards placed on top. He wasn't sure who had brought in presents since he never heard of anyone bringing them in, but it was nice Lucy would have some new things once she awoke.
" The presents are from Cana, Mira/Lisanna, Levy, and her family, cards were from Erza/Jellal, and Juvia and Wendy. "Natsu stated, knowing what Gray was looking at.
" That's kind of them all. "he stated." I know Juvia's coming tomorrow with a gift, she want Lucy to come out of the hospital looking good. "
" Lisanna did Lucy's nails last time she came in. "Natsu stated.
" I thought that was her doing. "Gray chuckled lightly." It's getting late, I better get going. "
" Alright, have a good night. "Natsu said.
" You staying here? "
" Yeah. "
" Make sure you don't worry about her to much, and get some rest tonight. "Gray turned, his shoes tapping on the marble floor as he left.
