" You Used to be sweet and went along with anything. Didn't push yourself to far, now... Lucy, you're pushing yourself too far. You can barely even stand! "Natsu explained.
" Then I'm sorry that I got tired of doing whatever someone else told me to do. "She growled at him.
" Lucy-"
" Natsu, I can't do this. "
Lucy forced herself up, putting her violin away.
" I didn't want to say this, but... I can't do this anymore. I don't feel anything between us as before. "She stated, turning to him." Natsu, I love you, but maybe not in the way I used to. I'm sorry, but we should just break up and start seeing other people. "

Been one week since Lucy left Natsu, and tonight was Lisanna's party.
Lucy was able to get an apartment and furniture and new clothes from the money her parents have given her. She was also able to apply for a job as a choir teacher, though she hadn't gotten it yet, she was sure she would.

Meanwhile with Natsu, not so as splendid as Lucy's been.
He sat on his bed and stared at the ground. There lay a picture of him and Lucy when they were still in high school, and he was smiling at a very embarrassed Lucy who hid her face from him.
Mira shot the picture and gave a copy to him.

-Natsu's P.O.V-

She left... She doesn't love me in that way, what in the hell happened?
I groan, wiping my face with my hands. I need a drink.
Getting up and walking over to my fridge, Happy followed me. Not waiting for me to come back.
I grabbed a bottle of beer and opened it.
I can't remember how many drinks I have had tonight. Maybe, three? Four? I don't know.
I got a headache, and my mind keeps telling me to stop drinking and get over it. But my body just wants to continue in this unhealthy living.
I take a swig of the beer and walk back over to my bed and sit down.
The quiet air was interrupted by a load *ding, dong* from my doorbell being rung. Damn, my head!
I don't want to get up, but I guess I should. Before I could, my door opened and shut.
" Natsu, you home? "
Sounds like Gray.
" God, why is it such a pigsty? "he said, coming into my room. He stood there for a bit and sighed." Erza was positive you'd be like this after hearing from Lucy what had happened between you two. "
" Lucy? "I question him. I want to see her, wonder where she is now? Ah, that doesn't matter anymore. I take a gulp of my beer.
" You don't look good at all, not like you ever did though. "Gray sat down next to me." Hey, we're all worried. "
" Is Lucy? "I asked, curious if she actually was worried.
" Yes, even her. She's the one who asked me to check on you. "
" why couldn't she come herself? "
" She was afraid to see you after what she broke up with you. She was also afraid you didn't want to see her. I don't blame her... By what she explained after she broke up with you of what you did. What the hell was going through your mind when you attacked her? "

I remember, after she suggested we break up, I went crazy. I grabbed her before she left and forced a kiss on her, and I wanted her to stay. She was crying and I didn't care, I wanted her to see from my point of view and I didn't care for hers. I pulled her hair, slapped her, forced many kisses on her as well. I have no clue what I was thinking. It was when she screamed my name and slapped me when I finally came to my senses. But when I did, she collapsed and was scared of me. Her clothes were ripped a bit from me, I was going crazy.

" You know, you should go to Lisanna's party tonight. Lucy will be there. "Gray suggested.
" I don't think I should see her. Not after what I did. "I said." She probably hates me now. After what I've done I don't deserve to see her again. I'll just go crazy again and might even harm her. I might do something worse, who knows? "
" That's unfair to yourself Natsu, you don't know what will happen. "
" I don't want to see her! Not tonight, not tomorrow, not ever! After what I've done, as don't want to cause her anymore harm. "
" Alright, but, I brought someone who may be able to change your mind. "
I looked up to him. My eyes widened seeing Erza now standing there, her hand wrapped around Lucy's wrist, keeping her from moving. She was scared and I could see her shivering from here.
" Lucy... "I said slowly, she jumped at my words. I stood up, I was shocked to see her here.
She wriggled free from Erza and started bolting, I ran after her, I couldn't have her leave before I could say I am sorry. But, I stopped after she ran out of my door.
Why should I go after her? I'll just make her hate me more, make her scared of me more...
I fell to my knees and sat there.
" I wasn't expecting her to run like that. "Gray sighed.
" Well, she still hasn't gotten over what happened. "Erza stated.
" Just leave her alone, she doesn't need to be forced. I would rather her come to me on her own. "I said.
" Come to the party tonight. "Erza said." Lucy told Lisanna she wasn't going to play, so she's going by what you told her because she knew you'd worry. She told us about the violin incident. "
" She still cares Natsu, and we know you do too. "Gray added.
" I'll think about it, OK... "I said.
