Gray and Natsu grabbed each other's collar about to strike with fists, but Erza grabbed their heads and slammed them into each other, knocking them cold.

Lucy went in the back room where they held all the supplies and extra mugs and to-go containers.
She searched for the broom, but she had to have her eyes adjust to the dark, since they had no light in there.
" Ah! "she hissed, hitting her foot on t=something hard. She brought up her leg and held her foot, but fell over due to lack of balance." dammit. "
she looked around sighing, her legs were done for today.

" Lucy, where's your violin?! "

Lucy's eyes widened, her mother returned. Speaking to her in her haunting voice.

" Lucy! Even if your fingers hurt you must practice! "

Lucy hugged herself as her mother spoke.

Lucy gasped.
she's never heard her mother in such a cold voice before. She was mostly kind, not when she was angry or giving her lesson on instruments though. But never has she heard something so cold.
Lucy's body shivered in the supplies room. Whenever she had been left alone like this in the dark, her mother would speak. But she never had been recently, or really ever. But right now... She couldn't get up, She couldn't move at all, or yell, scream, shriek, her voice was being blocked by a lump.

Lucy raised her hands to her ears, trying to clock out the horrible voice.

The whole room suddenly burst with a blinding light and a loud honk of s horn filled the room.
Lucy turned her head, staring face to face to a car speeding towards her and fast.

The car dispersed right when it was about to hit her. She froze, still holding her mouth, feeling herself about to puke. Tears of the dramatic scene still flooding her eyes.
" Lucy? "Natsu's voice rang, of course he'd come. He'd also be the most worried for her. She felt an arm wrap around her back and a hand on her shoulder." Was it your mother? "
She nodded her head slowly. Natsu brought her into his chest." That's what I thought. "he said, comforting her." Want to stay like this until you calm down? "
She nodded again.
" Let me just bring the broom to Mira-"Lucy clenched to him, not wanting him to leave her alone in the dark." Alright... "
