Lucy put on Natsu's shirt while he drained the tub. He turned back to her and she giggled.
" You look tiny with my shirt on. "he noticed. He got up, lifting her up.
" The sun's coming up. "Lucy noticed through her bedroom window.
" I'm gonna make some coffee. "he stated, he went up to the door, Lucy opening it for him so he could make his way to the kitchen. He sat her down on the counter as he started brewing coffee.
" smells good. "Lucy said." Just like you~"
" You smell better. "he took some strands of her wet hair and sniffed them. She giggled a bit." Here. "
he handed her a cup of coffee when it was ready, sprinkling sugar in each. She nodded in thanks.
She took a sip just after he had.

" Natsu. "Lucy called his name, catching attention." When I returned you told me you were a therapist, I can't see you as one. "
" You'r right, I'm not. "Natsu sighed, but smiled." I forgot all about that, I was going to tell you right after... but I completely forgot. "
" What do you work as then? "Lucy asked.
" I quit my job so right now I'm jobless, I had worked for maintenance for company building. I quit before that party at the Cafe. "he admitted.
" Why didn't you tell me what you worked at in the first place? "
" funny story... "Natsu scratched the back of his neck. " It's an inside joke I guess between me and Gray, kinda hard to explain. "
" I understand. "
she took another sip of her coffee, then slammed her fist in his arm, luckily his coffee was on the counter.
" What was that for!? "he questioned, rubbing his pained arm.
" For not telling me the truth until now, do you know how long it's been since I've been back in Magnolia?! "she growled.
" I'm sorry. "he went closer to her, pecking her cheek." Are you tired at all? You were up early. "
" No... not really. "
" Alright, is there anything you want to do today? "
" well... no, honestly I just want to stay home with Happy, Plu... and you... "
" Is this the day i get to claim you!? "he said with hopeful eyes she'd have sex with him. (men -_-)
Lucy punched his cheek, knocking him down, the sipped her coffee as if nothing had happened.
" Alright... I deserved that one. "he chuckled, sitting up.
" You deserve every punch I give you. "she huffed.
" maybe... "
she glared at him. He got up and looked at her. He took the coffee cup from her hands and set it next to her.
He lifted her in his arms, making her blush as he laid her on the couch.
" Natsu? "she questioned as he laid his head on her chest, finding it comfortable.
" Can I stay like this for a bit? I like it when I'm close to you. "he said softly, she nodded, wrapping her arms around him.

Juvia came into the cafe, seeing Lisanna, Cana, Mira, Elfman, and Gray. Cana was sitting on the cafe counter sleeping while hugging a beer bottle, Elfman sighed and pushed her off, not waking her since she passed out cold after a crazy night at the bar and coming over to sleep on the counter.
Mira sighed, looking sadly at the cash register. Must be because of the mall with cafe's in it and they being running out of money, Lisanna was on the other side of the counter also having a sad face.
Gray sat at the window table at the far end of the cafe drinking coffee and looking out to cars and pedestrians.

Juvia went over to the counter and smiled, hoping they would as well, which they did, happy to see a friend.
" hey Juvia. "Mira smiled.
" Would you like anything? "Lisanna asked.
" I'll just get a hazelnut latte. "Juvia ordered, handing them a ten and Mira handing her back the change. She turned and went to the table Gray was at and sat down across from him.
" I didn't notice you had come in, nice to see you, Juvia. "he said as she took her purse off her shoulder.
" it's been awhile, Gray. "she said.
" It has... "he sighed.
" How's Lucy and Natsu, been after that incident with a former acquaintance of his? "she asked.
" She's doing fine, but... Natsu... I'm not sure. He seems fine but, his brother died. no one can take that easily. "
" I see, he's probably hiding his true feelings so Lucy won't worry. "
" Most likely. "
Lisanna came over, placing Juvia's beverage in front of her, then went due to another customer coming in and sitting down at a table, going to go take their order.
Juvia took a sip of her beverage and leaned her head onto her hand as she gazed out the window.
Gray stared at her as she did.

She had been his for a year in marriage, then they had divorced over an argument. He had forgotten what the argument was about since it was three years ago, but he did regret leaving someone like her. But he hid it from her, just like he did with everything, acting like the 'cool' guy who didn't care about anything but himself, didn't follow anyone's rules but his own. Not true, he was quite the opposite.
Juvia looked down at a small silver watch clasped around her wrist." oh, I'm gonna be late for my date. "she said, Gray looked at her confused, she smiled at him." Well, I gotta get going. It was nice to see you again. "
Juvia picked up her coffee and purse then left.
He had the urge to stand and go after her, but he didn't. he just sat there, questioning her word: 'date'. What did she mean by that exactly. She couldn't be dating someone else, could she?
" Did Juvia leave? "Mira asked Gray.
" Yeah, she said she was gonna be late for a date or something. "he said, picking up his coffee.
" Probably going to a romantic lunch with her new hubby. "Mira swooned.
" new 'hubby'? "he questioned.
" You didn't know about her new boyfriend? Shes been dating him for at least two weeks now. "Mira said, confused.
" no, she never told me anything. "Gray felt something inside him quench, but ignored it.
" Well, he's very sweet and romantic. He bought that designer purse for her and the silver watch. He's such a ladies man~"Mira giggled, swaying frantically, a nosebleed on it's way." Gruvia's ship sunk, but this ship is sailing! "
" What do you mean by that? Who is this guy? "

" Curious now are we? Are you gonna beat this guy up and take Juvia somewhere far and pronounce your hidden love for her~? "
" What? No. "
" oh, alright then. his name is Lyon-"
" Lyon!? "
Mira stepped back from his yell." Y-Yeah. ya know the guy? "she asked.
Gray bit his lip.
Lyon, of all men, Juvia had to chose his rival to date.
" You could say that.. "he hissed." me and him were adopted into the same family after my parents were killed by the mass murderer who was caught after and sentenced to death, 'Deliora'. We never got along. "
" oh... "Mira frowned." I had forgotten all about how you were adopted with him. It's been so long. "
" It's not your fault... "Gray sighed, standing up." It's her choice to date him, I don't care who she dates. "
" So if she was dating someone who was abusive-"
" You know what I mean! "he sighed again, placing a ten dollar on the table and picking up his coffee." Anyway... I better get going. I have an interview for a job offer down at the office. "
" the office where you work? "Mira questioned.
" Yeah, they're wanting me to become an assistant manager. "
" Sounds great, I hope you get it. "
" thanks. "
" bye, come back and tell me good news~! "
" Well, if I don't get it I won't say anything then. "
