Chapter 1: Him, not Me
"So, Ladybug, "Chat Noir purred, flexing his muscles. Ladybug rolled her eyes, pushing his face away with her hand. "What?" She groaned, gripping her waist with her fingers. "Who's the guy you like?" Chat Noir asked making Ladybug face-palm herself.
"Chat Noir," she breathed. "I can't tell you. And no matter how many times you ask, I still won't," Ladybug said making his ears droop. "Why! It's not like I'll know him from his first name," Chat Noir said as Ladybug shot him a glare.
"First initial?" Chat compromised as Ladybug sighed. "A," she responded. "Next letter," Chat urged as Ladybug gave him a playful glare. "Please," Chat begged. "No," Ladybug replied blandly as Chat sighed.
"Worth a shot," he mumbled as Ladybug sighed. "Adrien," Ladybug said as Chat Noir's ears shot up. His face took on a red hue. "Adrien Agreste?" He asked, looking at the poster of himself. "How did you guess?" Ladybug blushed.
"I-I have secret talents," Chat responded quickly. She sighed. "I shouldn't have said anything," Ladybug mumbled. "Well, I guess you could say that the cat's out of-" "Yeah, yeah," Ladybug covered her face.
"Thanks for not judging me, Chaton," Ladybug smiled. "I actually have to go now," she looked at the peak of the sun rising. "Catch you later," She smiled, hooking her yoyo on a building. "Bye," he watched her go into the distance.
He returned to his own home, and de transformed. He gave his kwami some camembert as he munched on it. "What's with the long face? I thought you'd be happy that your lady likes you," Plagg said as Adrien ran his hands through his hair.
"She doesn't like me. She likes Adrien Agreste," he replied. "I'm confused," Plagg stated. "You are Adrien Agreste," Plagg added. "Adrien Agreste is a fake; probably snatched Ladybug because he's a model," Adrien put himself down.
"But, she doesn't like Chat Noir. She doesn't like the real me. That isn't something to celebrate," Adrien pulled the covers over his face.
Adrien felt his stomach grumble since he hadn't eaten since dinner seven hours ago. Though, his father only let him eat two meals; three at most. That was the diet of being a supermodel, though.
He heard his kwami snoring, and tried to fall asleep himself, but couldn't. He questioned what Ladybug had saw in him; all he saw was just a pretty face.
He got out of bed and looked for the note that he now knew Ladybug had sent to him, two years ago. He read it over and over; he never got how Ladybug could describe him so fondly.
She described Adrien so fondly when she could never describe Chat Noir as that; his true self.

Adrien woke up very early the next morning. Natalie waited outside his door, reading over his long schedule for the rest of the day. He prayed that there may be an akuma; that may mean he could skip some of them and see his lady.
He packed his textbooks and his finished homework and went into the car with his bodyguard. "Adrien," his father clicked into the tablet. "Hello, father," Adrien rubbed his hands up his arms. "I do hope you have been keeping up with your piano. Your performance yesterday needed work, and I expect much more than that the next time."
"No hello?" Adrien smiled, as his father sighed disapprovingly. "Just finish that, I also assigned another photoshoot for you today, after school," his father said as he put his hands around the tablet.
"You promised I could go over to Alya's today. She had her sister there remember - the pro wrestler? She would keep us safe," Adrien begged, sorrow in his eyes. "There will be no debate, what I say goes," he clicked off as Adrien laid in his seat; disappointed.
His kwami gave him a sad look from his jacket as he shook his head. No amount of camembert could fix this like it did for Plagg. He exited the vehicle and slammed the door behind him as Marinette walked up.
"H-Hey Adrien!" She smiled sweetly. He gave a sad smile. "Hey, Mari," he responded. "You'll have to apologize to Alya for me, I can't go to her house anymore with you guys," he sighed. Marinette blinked twice.
"Why?" she asked, looking at his tilted face. "You know how my father is - always putting some important stuff when I try to live a normal life," he breathed. "D-Do you want to talk?" Marinette stammered nervously.
He shrugged. "That would be great," he replied, walking behind the school. They both sat down, leaning against the tall brick wall and sitting on the freshly done pavement. "Well, I," he choked.
"I just wish my father could let me live my life without restrictions," "Without being to be on a strict schedule, without being to not see friends," he listed. "Well, he probably does that because he cares," Marinette responded.
"If he cared, he would let me go out with my friends," he grumbled as Marinette rubbed his knee cap. "I don't want to say I agree with his parenting methods," Marinette breathed.
"But he loves you, you're his son,"
Adrien seemed to choke on the words. "None of those things are correct," Adrien trembled. "If he loved me, he would console me! Notice when I'm upset - but he never does," Adrien choked.
"Why can't he just listen to me for once! Why can't he be normal - why can't I be normal!" he shouted as Marinette gasped. He sat there, stunned. "I'm sorry," he mumbled, standing up.
"Adrien-" Marinette said softly. He ran back to class as Marinette reached her hand out. "Adrien!" she exclaimed as he turned the corner. Adrien put his hand over his pounding heart. His breathing was shaky, and his kwami was trying to get his attention.
"ADRIEN!"
His kwami shouted as Adrien shot back to reality. "I-AUGH!" he screamed, the building about to collapse on him. "Adrien!" Ladybug exclaimed, picking him up in her arms, saving him from the building.
"Ladybug," he breathed. She leaped onto the nearest building as she breathed heavily. "Are you okay?" she asked staring into his eyes. "Ladybug," he said, cupping her face in his hands. "A-Adrien?" she pulled his face closer to hers.
They shared a passionate kiss as Adrien gasped. "I-I," he said as Ladybug put her fingers over her lips. "I'm so sorry," he mumbled, blushing. Ladybug was about to speak, but heard the sounds of screams from the akuma.
"I'm sorry, I must go," Ladybug blushed. Adrien sat there stunned as Plagg flew out of his pocket. "You need to transform!" Plagg yelled. "I kissed her," Adrien breathed. "She kissed me!" Adrien exclaimed.
"I took advantage of her knowing that she loved me," Adrien felt tears burn his eyes. "Adrien-" "S-Shut up Plagg!" He thrust his ring onto the ground.
"All my fault," he cried.
I hope you enjoyed! Stay tuned ;)
