-A Few Hours Later-

Kayla's POV

Someone shakes me. "Kayla get up we're leaving now."

"Ok I'm up I'm up." I stand up and Idate sits on Naruto's back as we run to the giant stair case and we run up the stairs.

"No wonder these stairs are called the soul breaker how can they run there so easily." Sakura says to Sasuke.

"Well no one ever accused them of not having energy." Sasuke says and I grin back down at them and he sighs.

I laugh a bit and me and Naruto run faster and once we get to the top Idate gets off of Naruto and runs to the place thingy and he grabs something and we continue running with me annoyed. "Naruto we should catch up and fast." I tell him.

"Yeah lets go." Naruto says and Yuzuki jumps off me and starts to run with us.

We run faster and we see Idate getting picked on again and I use a few chains to make a barrier around me and Idate. "Seriously why do you keep getting into trouble." I say looking at him through the corner of my eye.

"So-rry." Idate says sarcastically. "Why are you here anyways?" Idate asks me.

I focus on the barrier and more things fly at us and rain down on us. "Does this guy ever quit?" I mutter. "Idate whatever you do wait until Naruto and Sasuke beat this guy got it?" I ask him.

"I don't need your help." He says to me stubbornly.

"Idate listen to me even though you already annoyed me many times I already claimed you as a brother and I don't want to see you hurt it would be my fault if you got hurt anyway." I say to him and he steps back shocked. "You are an older self proclaimed brother of mine." I say out of the corner of my eye and my chains get hit badly a few times. I groan and I focus on my chains. "CAN YOU GUYS NOT HIT THE CHAINS THEY ARE APART OF MY BODY YOU IDIOTS." I roar at them.

"SORRY." Naruto yells back.

"Hn." Was what Sasuke said.

I hit him in the back of the head with a chain. "Hn is not a word Sasuke." I say to him and I focus on my chains as they hit them again and I groan. "WHAT DID I JUST SAY." I yell at them.

"SORRY." Naruto yells.

They continue fighting and Sasuke gets thrown over a cliff. "SASUKE." I yell getting angry.

Naruto wins and all that jazz and Idate and Naruto cross the bridge by cutting the rope.

I jump down to Sakura and Sasuke. "Are you both alright?" I ask.

"Sasuke is knocked out cold and my injuries are fine but he needs treatment as soon as possible." Sakura says to me.

I nod and I bend down. "Just place him on the ground so I can get him in a stable condition." I order her.

She sets Sasuke in front of me.

I start healing him to the best of my ability and I get him in a stable condition. "Sasuke is gonna be fine as long as nothing else happens to him." I say to her. "Now I better catch up to Naruto and Idate, I leave Sasuke in your care Sakura." I tell her and she nods and I flash step next to Naruto and he stand on a pole and I sit in front of him.

"GO IDATE." We yell.

Other people cheer and Idate crosses the finish line and puts the thing he grabbed from before on a pillow and he falls on the ground in exhaustion. Everyone one cheers.

I laugh and Naruto accidentally kicks me and I fall on the ground and I land on my back. "NA-RU-TO." I yell.

"SORRY." He yells.

I grumble and I stand up and I walk over to Idate and I help him up with a grin.

"Thanks Kayla for saving me and all." Idate says to me and he scratches the back of his head nervously.

"No problem just don't go nearly dying again." I say to him with a grin. "Well Idate you did good."

Other stuff happens a family gets split up I tune out for a while.

"KAYLA PAY ATTENTION." Master Jirocho yells at me.

"Eh? Say what?" I ask them with a confused face.

"Kayla." Naruto says and Sakura giggles while Sasuke chuckles.

I laugh and I walk over to them and I put an arm on Naruto shoulder and we all laugh.

"Hey Kayla we should get some rest we used a lot of chakra." Naruto says.

"I'm good I still have enough chakra to last the rest of the day before I pass out." I say shrugging.

"Seriously didn't those chains of yours use up chakra?" Sakura asks me,

"Yes I had to constantly keep repairing them because of two certain idiots one with duck ass hair and the other with an orange jump suit." I say and they look at me nervously. "But being an Uzumaki I have a special chakra in me and expanded chakra so I have a lot of chakra and Naruto does to but he's had it for today." I explain to her.

"I see well these guys should get some rest we are heading back in a few hours." Sakura says to me.

"Hurray we can go home." Yuzuki barks happily on my shoulder.

I laugh at her a little. "Yuzuki seriously we weren't even here that long." I say to her.

"Was long enough for me." Yuzuki mutters.

"Well I get to go back to my comfy bed when we get back but I have to report the mission to Lady Princess since you three are in bad shape and me well I really don't care about my injuries."

"Kayla seriously." Naruto says to me.

"I don't its just some minor poison that isn't harming me and a couple of scratches and I think I have a few deep gashes but meh I can heal myself." I say to them shrugging,

"Kayla are you gonna come back and visit?" Idate asks next to me.

"Of course what kind of person would I be if I didn't?" I say with a grin. "Besides I like it here its peaceful well for the most part." I say looking at a few people arguing. "Damned enhanced senses." I mutter.

"I can't hear them." Idate says and the others nod.

"And this is why I'm a chunin because of my advanced knowledge and strength." I say to them.

"Wait your a chunin?" Idate asks.

I pull a scroll out and I pull a Chunin Vest out. "Yeah see proof." I put it back and I put the scroll in my pouch.

"So wait what was your guy's tenth question?" Idate asks.

"I didn't listen to it I was ignoring scar face for a few reasons." I say shrugging.

"KAYLA." Sakura bonks me on the head.

I fall to the ground holding my head. "Oww Sakura what the hell." I say holding my head.

"You really have to work on that listening problem." Sasuke says.

I grumble. "It was a stay or go question you had to decide to take the question if you didn't get it right you would never be able to take the exams again if you left you get a chance again the next year. That was the question I chose to stay because my gut told me to and I got to the second round. Ibiki is a softy sometimes but him and Anko deserved what I gave them." I say shrugging while standing back up and I get bonked again and I fall to the ground. "What the hell I didn't do anything wrong I listened to the question I just didn't bother to listen to what Ibiki said before hand with all those rules." I stand up again.

"Kayla you have to pay attention to the rules." Naruto says to me.

"Yeah but rules are rules I follow them and all but I ignore people giving me orders unless its Lady Princess or Naruto." I shrug.

"Why not anyone else?" Sakura asks.

"My reasons are my own." I say to them and I see a boat arrive and I run to the boat and I jump on Ibiki. "Ibiki your here." I say to him with a grin.

"Get off me brat." He says picking me up by my collar and dropping me on the ground.

I pout. "Are you still mad about what I did to you during the Chunin Exams?" I ask him.

"No now any injured?" Ibiki asks.

"Sasuke and Naruto. I'll be fine and Sakura looked ok to I already healed Sasuke to a stable condition but that's all I can do since I used my chains longer than I should have so I'm low on chakra." I inform him.

"I see." He says and gets Sasuke and Naruto aboard.

I hug Idate and me and Sakura get aboard.

Other stuff happens I wave bye and I sit on the deck with a bored look.

"Kayla are you bored already?" Sakura asks looking down at me.

"Yes Yuzuki went with Naruto to look after him for me and he's in the infirmary and I need a nap but I refuse to fall asleep on a ship." I say to her.

"Especially after almost being sunk earlier." Sakura says and sits next to me.

I nod and we sit there looking at the ocean.

"That was so long ago Kayla." Idate says to me.

"Yeah no kidding anyways Tazuna is probably grumbling about how I'm late." I pause. "Again." I say simply with a grin.

"So wait you went from always on time to always being late?" Idate asks me.

"Pretty much, I get it from my Dad." I say simply.

"Well you should get going then but it was nice seeing you again Kayla you better come back to visit again." Idate says as soon as we get to Tazuna and the others.

"YOUR LATE." Yuki, Isamu and Tzuna yell.

I sweat drop and I laugh nervously. "See ya again Idate I will be back again don't worry." I say to him with a grin.

"Yeah alright see ya again Kayla." Idate says and runs off.

We walk to the Land of Waves and we walk to Tazuna's house. "Happy now drunkard?" I ask him sarcastically.

"Yes you guys may leave." He says to us.

I grin. "Good. See ya." I say and the other three groan.

"Lady Kayla we should rest a bit." Yuzuki suggests.

"Oh right you three aren't used to all the walking from village to village. Lazy bums." I say to them. "Fine I might as well go visit a Sensei of mine." I shrug and I walk to a hill and I place a red rose on Haku and Zabuza's grave.

"Sensei?" Yoru asks standing beside me.

"Yoru what are you doing here?" I ask her spinning around to look at her confused.

"Why are you here I thought you were visiting a Sensei of yours." Yoru says to me.

"Zabuza and Haku were my sensei's and family but not by blood." I say to her.

"I see well Yuki and Isamu are ready to go and so am I." Yoru informs me.

"I see alright lets go." I smile at Zabuza and Haku's grave and we walk back to the others. "Lets go."

We start walking and I feel something against my neck. "In front of the kids four eyes?" I ask incredulously.

"Why not?" He says and presses harder.

"Sensei are you ok?" Yoru asks.

"Yeah I'm fine this has happened before." I say shrugging.

"Now Kayla your coming with me to Orochimaru's. Sasuke is there if you want to see him." Kabuto says smirking.

"My self proclaimed brother knows I won't turn my back on my village so either you leave and live or I kick you butt again." I say with a smirk.

"Well it won't matter anyway, Sasuke is gonna be used as the next body for Orochimaru." Kabuto says smirking.

"I know Sasuke won't let that happen he's smarter than that after all he is an Uchiha." I say smirking but on the inside I'm panicking. "Now leave us alone Four eyes your annoying me." I say smirking.

"Sensei what does Sasuke have to do with all this." Yoru asks me.

"That isn't important right now what you 4 need to do is get back so you won't get hurt." I order them.

"Sensei you can't fight him alone. He is strong I can feel it." Yuki says to me.

"Now." I tell them.

They step back a few feet.

I sigh and I pull a sebon out and I stick it in Kabuto's arm.

"You little demon." Kabuto struggles to say and he removes whatever was on my neck.

I round house kick him and he flies back. I huff and I punch him a few times and he kicks me in the stomach and I get knocked backwards a few yards and he punches me through a few tree's and he punches me into a boulder.

"How do you like that?" He ask with a smirk.

I growl and I kick him and he flies back and I punch him through tree and our cycle continues.

"Sensei." Yoru covers her mouth shocked.

I grin at them. "I'm fine you'll see." I say and I knock Kabuto out with a swift kick to the head. "Now next time you try that in front of my students I won't be holding back." I kick him far away.

"Sensei your hurt." Yoru says to me.

I check myself. "I guess I am huh." I start healing my self as we walk.

"Sensei who was that guy?" Yuki asks.

"Who four eyes?" I ask her.

"Yeah him." Yuki says to me.

"His name is Kabuto. If I were you three I would wait to tangle with him until I can teach you some powerful jutsu." I say to them. "If he attacks us again you are to stay away from our fight." I say to them while looking ahead as I heal myself.

"Why Sensei?" Yuki asks.

"He is strong. If I didn't have my special Uzumaki chakra I would be at Orochimaru's against my will right now. The only way I am able to beat him is with the extended chakra." I explain to them.

"I see so Sensei what did this Sasuke guy have to do with what was happening." Yoru asks.

"Sasuke was my brothers teammate he is an Uchiha and a friend of mine I was temporarily put on his team when my Sensei/Father died and my other two teammates were put under a gen jutsu that made them turn traitor so at the end after that was done I didn't have a team but meh honestly I really didn't mind. I had to be temporary Hokage until Lady Princess got back to the village to be Hokage. That took up a lot of time I also had to babysit the kids in the village and help rebuild it." I say shrugging.

"Sensei what kind of life have you had?" Isamu asks.

"What kind of life have I had? Well I don't know. I know me and Naruto had it harder than anyone but Kakashi and my Mom in the village so I guess that's the type of life I have had now we should quicken our pace." I say them.

"Lady Kayla do you sense someone?"Yuzuki asks.

"Yes now lets get a move on." We start running and I see someone in front of us glaring at me and I come to an abrupt halt. "You need something?" I ask them.

"You will come to Orochimaru's."

I groan and we run past them and we run all the way back to the village.

"Sensei." Isamu says.

"Yes Isamu." I ask as we walk to the Hokage building.

"Why do people want you to go to Orochimaru's?" Isamu asks.

"Uh I don't know I never really paid attention to that snake." I say shrugging and I jump in Lady Tsunde's office window. "Ohayo minna." I wave and the elders sweat drop while Lady Tsunde just sighs.

"Kayla your late to the meeting." Lady Tsunde says to me.

"Was I supposed to attend." I silently ask myself.

"Sit down." Lady Tsunde orders me.

"Yes Ma'am." I salute her and I sit in my usual seat.

The meeting drags on and I pay attention for most of it.

"Kayla are you paying attention?" Lady Tsunde asks sitting next to me.

"Somewhat, I don't really like meetings and this is really boring." I mutter.

"The Kazekage is gonna be here in a few days to discuss the Chunin Exams and where we are gonna hold it this year." An elder says.

I look away feeling guilty.

"Kayla is something wrong?" An elder asks.

"No." I lie and the elder nods and discusses what is gonna happen.

"Kayla you are to escort the Kazekage around the village." Lady Tsunde says to me.

"Yes Ma'am." I reply to her.

The meeting ends a half hour later and everyone but Lady Tsunde and Shizune and me leave.

"Kayla what was bugging you during the mission after one of the elders said the Kazekage was gonna be here in a few days?" Lady Tsunde asks.

I sulk in a corner. "I hate it that I failed my mission to protect him." I mutter into my arms.

"Oh right I almost forgot about that well now you have a chance to redeem yourself." Lady Tsunde says to me.

I groan. "Such a pain." I mutter into my arms.

"Kayla how much sleep did you get?" Lady Tsunde asks.

"None I also got attacked I saw Idate and caught up with him on somethings and I got attacked again after on my way back from the Land of Waves by Four eyes." I mutter.

"KABUTO ATTACKED YOU AGAIN." Lady Tsunde yells slamming her hands on her desk.

I wince mentally. "Yeah."

"How are you here then I thought you and Kabuto were equal in power and you would be taken away to Orochimaru by force." Shizune says to me.

"I was holding back on him I was just using Tai Jutsu the entire time." I say mutter.

"Kayla your brother is on a mission with Sakura and Sai." Lady Tsunde says to me.

"Oh no, Naruto don't kill the guy." I mutter. "I'm heading home." I say while standing up.

"Alright well you get today and tomorrow off and your students do as well." Lady Tsunde says to me.

"Thanks." I walk out and my students look at me expectantly. "You get the rest of the day and tomorrow off and also don't pester me or the Kazekage when he gets here." I say to them.

"The Kazekage is coming here? Why?" Yoru asks.

"Me and the other Jonin, some ANBU, Elders and Lady Tsunde have to discuss the Chunin exams and I also have to escort him around the village." I say calmly. "I'm heading back to my place you guys go get some rest." I say and I walk back to my house while dodging stuff people throw at me.

I unlock my door and walk in with Yuzuki next to me and I lock my door again and I go get food for Yuzuki from the kitchen and I set it in front of her and I walk to my room and I take off my Jonin Vest and Dad's old jacket and my Ninja Sandals and I walk back to the kitchen and I untie my hair from its twin tails and I cook my self some dango.

I walk to the living room and I eat my dango and I fall asleep on the couch.
