Seventy-five

Riddle me this: how doth these two have the same VA? I mean their personalities are so different, from what I know about Demon Slayer.

Weeks later

The week after is chaotic with Thanksgiving, I thankfully getting the day off since I am one of the main chefs, and the announcement of Toya being Bi at dinner. Though he did not mention the fact that he is in a relationship.

We also have the Spring Festival to get ready for, but I won't be participating in my class's band. "Don't worry, I'll be in the audience watching it with Tenshi, Togata and Eri-chan." I tell Izuku "Besides, I can make sure to get a good video of the performance." He gives me a side hug as we go back to the dorms after school. "Okay." Izu kiss my cheek before getting the door.

Once in our dorm room, I change for work and give my boyfriend a peck on the lips. "Love you, I'll see you tonight." I tell him. "Love you too." he replies.

I leave the school and go to my place of work with little issue. Work was the same as usual, patrol boring but I talked with a lot of the everyday citizens. But, it all lack the action it had before. Maybe because there wasn't much villains out commiting crimes or what.

It could be the festivals coming up in all of the schools and then the yearly reranking of the heroes, only they know.

I return to the agency still full of energy. At my desk, I fill out my report before going down to the dojo to release my energy in training.

I am alone, so I just do some sit-ups and push-ups to warm up before swinging Stain's former sword around, practicing different fighting styles with it.

Yes, Stain as in the Hero Killer that Dad 'caught' back during our internships. But that was all after I saved someone's ass.

Cue sort of flashback, My POV past tense.

It was the week before the famous UA Sports Festival, everyone in the Hero Department, General Studies and so on training, building in preparation for one of the most important events of their high school career.

It was evening and a young human, gender hidden by their clothes and hat, was rushing to the train after visiting the young one's mother. They ran past an alleyway, but stopped and go back to the entrance before running down the darker path, not really knowing what awaits.

The student, after had traveled for a few minutes, grabbed the jagged blade of an sword with an almost bare hand, preventing the sword from slicing a woman across the chest. The owner of the blade, and the would be victim, surprised at what just happened to the point that the attacker practically let go of the sword, allowing the high schooler to take it into their own hands. The young one  changed their grip on the weapon, holding it more expertly than most their age would, before they swung it toward the owner, causing them to leap away.

"Are you alright?" the child asked the woman as the first stepped in front of her as a defense against the villain. "Get out of here!" the woman answered instead. The villain nodded their head in agreement "This is no place for children." a deep gravelly voice. "And what? Not do what is my goal, to help others?" the teen asked.

"This does not concern you child, you are not Endeavor, the man that has tainted what it means to be a true hero.

The child lifted up their hand toward the beanie "So, your end goal is Endeavor huh?" the child whipped off their, or should I say her, beanie showing her long, dual color hair that shined crimson and white in the light of the night "Why don't you warm-up with his daughter?" an almost terrifying smile shows up on Azula's face. The hero's sidekick shocked, along with the hero killer but unseen by his audience as he spoke "This is your last warning Todoroki, leave or your age won't save you."

A snort left the girl "When did age matter in this world? Oh no Mr. Stain, I am going to stay and protect, like my number one hero would." she paused before adjusting her words "Like Endeavor would." then she changed forward to the Hero Killer. But the Ninja-turtle wannabe did not frown at the mention of the hero he hated the most, but instead he smiled This kid- he thought is a true hero. Before he jumps away from his own sword, "You, are lucky kid. You have shown to me that there is hope in the next generation of heroes, even if you are related and looked up to Endeavor. You are a truer hero than he ever was." he jumped onto a broken light "Keep my sword to so that the world will know that you have my respect and that, to me, you are equal to All Might." and with that the Hero Killer left the two females, almost bewildered. But the youngest understood what was said. Azula, in Stain's eyes, had the heart of a true hero.

End of flashback, back to the future from Kiki's POV

"So," a female voice says behind me "You really are the girl that saved me from Stain with her words."

I turn to see the one I apparently saved "It was you?" I ask the number one sidekick. Cell nods "Judging by your sword you are." I put the sword away in its 'pocket'. "I'm glad you didn't tell Dad about me." I say to her.

"Who says I didn't?" she asks. "Well that could explain why he went from calling me villainous because of my knives to drafting me despite holding an ice blade to my twin's neck." I say offhandedly.

"No I didn't tell him," she says "You honestly impressed him at the games. But I think with him actually knowing makes you seem more impressive."

"I wasn't that impressive." I say, I just kinda copied Sho on timing or just went on instinct. "You managed to hide your identity from the public and use your quirk in a way that it went practically unnoticed in the mix of those that flash their power around like they are on easy." Cell says "But I am guessing you were the one going easy on the majority, right?"

"Easy or mentally unable to go all out." I whisper, starting to feel an urge that haven't been felt since October. "Hmm?" she asks, "I guess I might've been going easy. It might've been hard depending on what my limit was back then." I say with a faux smile "Anyways, I better get back to the last bit of my paperwork." I excuse myself going to the elevator. I did not fully relax until the doors closed shut in front of me. That was a close one, I run my fingers through my hair. Breath Azula. I tell myself, even though I almost slip something to Cell.

I return to the dorms after work, without giving into temptation. The dorms are empty, due to the class practicing for their performance. I know where the dance squad is practicing at, Izu group, so I decided to go there once I change into shorts and a tank-top.

I walk to where they are from behind, I see the group taking a break as they talk to a little girl in front of them. The girl looks about five, give or take, with long light blue hair and a little horn point out from just above her right temple. Behind her, in the bush, I see a butt that morphs into Miro's face.

"The glitch ain't working Lemillion." I call to the bushman, startling my classmates. "Where did you come from?" asks Ashido. I would say something along the lines of my mother's womb but there's a child. "The dorms, just got back." I say, walking to the little girl. I got a suspicion of who she is, but I am not going to assume, I crouch down to her level before asking what her name is. "Eri." she replies, a little shy. "Nice to meet you, I'm Azula." I smile softly. She tilts her head slightly like she is connecting something together "Are you Deku's girlfriend?" she asks, I smile a yup, I am pretty sure Izuku is blushing behind me.

"He talks about you a lot." she tells me as I sit down on the ground "Really now?" I ask and Eri nods her head.

The thing that's surprise me the most is how quiet she is. We talk a bit as the others get back to practicing and Miro came out of the bush. But I am worried about Eri, most five year olds are talking a mile a minute, Eri isn't. The only child that I know of that was like that was, well, me.

Aizawa arrives, taking Eri on a bit of a tour of the school. I stay where I was and just turn to watch them once Togata-senpai left.

I feel a tap on my shoulder, not noticing Izuku crouching in front of me. "Hey, everyone left already for the dorms." he says once I blink back into the world, "Oh, guess I wasn't paying attention." I say accepting his hand up, but my legs had gone numb and I stumble a bit and into Izuku. "Sorry." I blushing, he gives a bit of a laugh "It's fine." he helps me steady myself. "Thanks." I say, "No problem." he smiles.

We walk into the dorms, in the living room almost everyone is there watching My Delivery Service (Kiki's Delivery Service) with Tenshi I assume unless it was Toya's pick.

"Want to just go up to our room or something?" Izuku asks, I reply with the first option and we quietly make our way upstairs.

"Something on your mind?" he asks, sitting on the bed. I nod "Yeah, Eri-chan mostly."

Izu hugs me "We all are worried about her, for the most part." he tells me.

"But it hits closer to home on my part with how quiet I was." I say. "She'll get better." he reassures me, "I know, but I am more concerned about when."

His grip on me tightens slightly, I place a kiss on his cheek "But since she got you and Togata as friends, I'm sure it will be sooner rather than later." I smile.

Izu turns a little pink and hides his face in my shirt. I wrap my arms around him "Love you." I say, "Love you too." he mumbles. I smile more as I place a kiss on the tip of his head, what can I say; he's a life changer.

I run my fingers through his hair and we just sit like that, him hugging and me petting, until Izuku falls asleep.

I place one last kiss on his head before tucking him in and going downstairs to make dinner, leaving Frost to come and get me if Izu wakes up from a nightmare or flashback to his fight against Overhaul. Not that he told me that they happen, but he sometimes mutter in his sleep and activates his quirk.

I reach the kitchen and everyone is still on. Studio Ghibli marathon as they watch Castle in the Sky. I take out the thin-boneless pork and the panko before starting the rice. I grab the eggs and rice flour as well, putting the rice flour, the to-be beaten eggs and panko each in separate bowls.

After five minutes, all of the pork is breaded and I heat up the pan of oil with my quirk before carefully placing the meat, two at a time to cook, in. All of it sizzling and popping as the meat enter the oil.

The pork cutlets finish cooking quickly and I start fixing the bowls of rice, adorning the rice with a sliced cutlet and Katsu sauce. My timing couldn't be any more perfect, I walk into the living just as the credits start rolling "Dinner is ready." I tell them before heading upstairs with a bowl of Katsudon for Izuku.

As I reach the room, Frost comes flying at me as Izuku tossing and turning, One for All activated. I rush over to him, setting the bowl down. "Izuku, wake up." I say, holding his wrists to stop his thrashing, "It's not real." I say. Slowly, Izu relaxes and deactivates his quirk, I shake him gently "Izu, dinner is ready." I say. His eyes opens, fist a little tense but he relaxes as he sits up rubbing his eye. "How long was I sleep?" he yawns, "About an hour." then I drop the bomb "How long have you been having nightmares?" I ask. Izu doesn't answers, I sigh since I already have a rough idea, "Look at me." I place my hand on his cheek as he looks up "You don't have to hide it from me. But at least let me know." he nods before hugging me tight. I hug him back as Frost despers, rubbing his back a little.

"Is that Katsudon?" Izu asks, probably smelling the still warm food, "Yup." I smile before grabbing the bowl from the nightstand where I had placed it with a pair of chopsticks "Let me go and get my bowl from downstairs." I kiss his head as he nods.

I return with my almost cold bowl of Katsudon, but I heat it back up a bit with my quirk. I sit down beside him, starting to eat my food.

"Thank you for dinner Azula." Izu says, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "You're welcome Izuku." I say. I finish eating and Izuku takes our bowls back downstairs as he goes to get Tenshi and get her ready for bed.

I change into a sports bra and leggings before taking over the bed to scroll through Instagram. "Azula." I look up to see Tenshi clinging to her father, "Something up?" I ask tilting my head slightly as if I don't see the child. Izuku shakes his head as Tenshi giggles a little, Izu walks over to me and Tenshi reaches out to me. I take her into my arms and give her a bunch of kisses, causing her to giggle more. "Can I sleep with you and Dada?" she asks, I glance up at her father just as he removes his shirts "I don't know, what do you think Izuku?"

"Sure." he smiles, I get up "Let's get you into your PJ's." I tell Tenshi before going into the nursery with her in my arms.

I walk back into the room, Tenshi in her newer Deku onesie. Izuku already laying in bed, he still looks affected by the nightmare even those he is trying to hide it. I sit down beside him "Love you." I kiss his cheek. The corners of his lips turns up a little "Love you too." Then Tenshi joins in "Live you Dada!" she says giving Izuku a messy kiss on the cheek, bringing a fuller smile from the later "Love you too Tenshi." he kiss the top of her head. Tenshi turns back to me and hugs me a 'Love you Mama's before promptly falling asleep in my arms. "Love you too sweetie."

I feel Izuku kiss my cheek as he gets up to turn off the light. I lay down, taking care for Tenshi, as Izu get under the covers and place an arm over my waist "Hey," I look at my boyfriend "if you have another nightmare wake me up, okay?" He nods before we fall asleep.

Hours later

I wake up to Izuku tensing up against me, his fist clenched against my stomach. I getaly sit up and start rubbing his shoulder, holding the still sleeping Tenshi. "Izuku, wake up." I say as loud as I dare "You're having a bad dream." It doesn't work and I can say it any louder without waking Tenshi. So I repeat at the same volume, shaking him a little.

It takes a few tries before he wakes up in cold sweat, his breath jagged. "Hey," I draw his attention to me "You're okay, it was just a dream." I see him visually relax a bit as he pulls me, and Tenshi, into a tight embrace. "But it was so-" he whispers into my shoulder as I wrap my free arm around my boyfriend "They have a tendency to do that." understanding his thought from personal experience. I rub circles on his back, hoping that it will help, "Do you want to talk about it?" I ask softly. Izuku shakes his head in response and just hugs me a little tighter, probably trying to calm down and forget what he saw. Then an idea pops into my head "Wait here." I say, gently moving so that I can put Tenshi in the nursery.

I return, Izuku still looking tense, but I have a possible solution. "Come on." I take him by the hands and lead him out of our room.

"Where are we going?" he asks as we go to the elevator, "You'll see." I say, pushing the button.

We arrive to the first floor and to the kitchen. "Sit." I kinda order as I get two mugs down, the milk and honey out of their respective places. I glance over to the table that Izu is sitting at, gods the sight is depressing, his eyes look vacant as he looks at nothing in particular. I pour two mugs of milk and drizzle some honey in before mixing it up and heating them up with my quirk.

I take the two mugs over to the table, after putting the milk and such away, "Here." I say as I place a mug down in front of him. Izuku looks at me "You didn't have to." he says holding the mug in his hand, "Neither did you." is my response, referring when he did the same for me. I place a hand on his arm "I will always be here for you Izuku." I say "No matter what."

3027 words on my own without checking. HALLELUJAH!!!
