A week goes by and I did buy those outfits for Hawks, not that Toya knows yet. But today is the Gala, my first hero event as a young pro that isn't kick villains' asses. I had decided to wear the red and white dress, but I didn't think glittery black heels would work with it so I bought me a pair of white Chiffon and Satin peep-toe heels.

"Have fun tonight." Izuku smiles as I go to the door with my things I'm changing at Keigo's place, per his request and mine of not wanting my peers to ask why I'm dressed up. "I'll try." I smile at him before placing a kiss on his cheek before leaving.Luckily I make it out of the dorm's without anyone questioning me."Hey Kiki." Keigo greets me as I exit the school grounds, "Hiya Hawks." I reply before we take off for his place.

Once we arrive, I take over the guest bathroom to shower, this time with my own care products. After the shower, I put my hair up in a tight bun before drying myself with my quirk. I put my drying myself in the mirror before taking my hair out, which falls to my shoulder in curls. I run my fingers through to make the curls more natural. Clear lip gloss goes on my lips and concealer under my left eye to hide the bags.

"Alright," I mumble "deep breaths." I put all of my stuff back into my duffel bag as I take out my heels. I may or may not have a knife strapped to my right thigh above my knee, just in case even though there will be a lot of heroes there. It doesn't hurt to be prepared.

"You about ready to go?" Keigo asks outside the bathroom door, "Just about." I reply, closing the bag, picking it, my clutch and heels up before I open the bathroom door. Hawks was waiting on the other side in a classic suit, black jacket and slack, white dress shirt and a gold color tie, the buttons on his jacket gold too; "Ready Chicken Man?" I ask, causing the hero to look up from his phone. "The duffle bag is really throwing off the look." Keigo remarks, putting his phone away, "Very funny," I eye roll as I accept his elbow to put my shoes on "I'm not taking it in with me."

"Nor out." Hawks says "Leave it by the door and I can drop it off at the dorm's tomorrow.""You just want a reason to see Toya." I say, dropping off the bag by the door. "Hey," Keigo opens the door "I'm going to wear that tan and black number you got me."

"Please wear same pantie hose under the skirts." I advise him.

"Now why should I do that?"

"I don't thing the entirety of Japan would want to see your underwear as you fly."

"Touché."

We get into the limo that was provided, I sit by the window as usual, while I fiddle with my promise ring. "Nervous?" Keigo asks, I give a shrug "A little I guess."

"Relax, this is suppose to be something to relax." the number two hero tells me, "Easy for you to say." I mumble "This isn't your first Gala."

"Fair." he admits "But hey, you already know some of the people there."

"Not that many." I say as I turn away from the window, I can already feel my quirk starting to act up. Luckily I can blame the weather since only a few know about my precise control, normally, of my quirk. Hawks moves to sit next to me and gives me a hug, a brotherly kind. "Some is better than none."

"I guess." I mumble, accepting the hug. I kind of need the hug, I take a few deep as the limo stops. But it's not where the gala is being held. "Ah, Madam President." Keigo chirps as the Public Safety Commission President (PSCP) steps in, Hawks still has an arm around me. "Hello Hawks." she greets him before spotting me next to him "Oh, Kiki." she says "I did not know that you would be in this limousine."

"You can thank Hawks for that." I smile at her, a fake one of course. My hands are tightly holding my clutch with my phone, earbuds and extra make up inside. I don't really hold the head of the Hero Public Safety Commission very high, especially some of the recruiter for the government hero program. They are a bit of a "necessary evil" for lack of a better phrase. I don't hate them, just don't give them very much of my trust, like I do a lot of people.
"I bet you are excited about going to the gala." she says, looks like she wanted Hawks to be alone. I give a shrug "Neutral is more like it." I answer verbally before making a show of me pulling out my phone and plugging my earbuds in and "playing" some music, my volume is muted, then I look out the window. Keigo keeps his arm around me and I can see the President's satisfied look from her reflection. "Why did you bring her with you?" her voice laced with disgust towards me. Rude! "Because she didn't want to change at the dorm's to save her from questioning peers." the hero shrugs, I think he is the only one that knows about my hoax due to his feathers, but he doesn't brings it up.

"She's Endeavor's daughter right? She could've changed there."

"Can't she surprise her parents?" I notice Hawks's head tilts with his response.I tap my finger to my "music" as the President scoffs "You are acting like she is something special to you."

"Kiki is like a sister to me, I think that is something special." Hawks defends "And she is a Pro at sixteen."

"As a UA student."
"A first year, obviously she has been training long before."
"In general at age five, didn't have the determination until age six but not training her quirk until middle school." she rattles off from when I got my license. "See!" my brother-i-,know what he's my brother, screw you laws, points out "About ten years of training, Kiki is a prodigy!"

"Remember that six year old that we tried to recruit a few years back."

"I don't think you told me this bedtime story." Keigo says, sounding like a mix of a little kid and curious bird that he is. "Long story short," she says "a girl name Azi" I tense a little "was met with a couple recruiters, and she almost joined if it wasn't for the fact that the girl asked what the requirements were and she was told about the name thing, a minor thing really."

Sure, minor if you didn't fucking loose your family just the year before. "Then she ran off." The President closes, oh good, you forgot the bits that would make you look bad.

"So why is this Azi important right now?" Keigo asks, he has been holding me a little more protectively since I tensed up, "Azi froze those recruiters for a little while.""So she has an ice quirk? A lot of people can have similar quirks."
The limo stops and I pause my music and put my electronic away "It ws a pleasure riding with you." I smile to the President as she exits the vehicle.

"Ready?" Keigo asks me, "Ready as I'll ever be." I give him a more genuine smile to him, knowing that he'll probably have some questions for me. Hawks leaves first, possibly to keep majority of the media off of me as I exit behind him.

As figured, the media and fans are more focused on the number two hero, allowing me to walk inside without much disruption. Thanks goodness for that.I walk over to the table that I am supposed to be seated at, the seating arrangement is based on rank. Since I am a rookie, my rank is lower from what I know but I don't really care about my rank. My table is empty at the moment as I sit down. I don't look at the other name tags as that I can probably figure out my rank from who I am seated with, I want to be surprised. But I do notice a Roman numeral "2" (II) next to my hero name, I wonder what that stands for? I ask myself.
A few minutes goes by and someone sits down at my table set for seven. "Hey kid." I look up to see the rabbit hero "So you're the one making Hawks looks bad, nice job." she gives me a thumbs up as she sits down. "Uh what do you mean by that?" I ask and why is the number five hero sitting at my table. "So you haven't checked what your rank is? she asks as Edgeshot sits down, greeting me too. "Our ranks haven't gone down." Edgeshot notes, my confusion must've shown on my face as Mirko shows me her name tag, she has a Roman numeral five (V) on hers. "So there must be a tie." Rumi says as I give a groan "Looks like my genes are at it again."
My two seniors give each other confused looks, but I'm not going to explain it. "Kiki!" Hawks chirps "I didn't think I would be sitting next to you again so soon."
"Hi Hawks." I say to him as he sits down beside me, "Hey Hawks." Mirko says "You know Kiki pretty well right?"
"Yup!" he smiles "Like a little sister."
"Cute, but what do you think she would mean by her genetic being at it again?"

"Beats me." the blonde says with a shrug before glancing at his name tag "Ah, still second. What rank are you Kiki?" he asks. "not saying." I mumble, luckily Dad saves the day with him and Mom coming over. "Hi Dad." I smile "Hi Mom." I stand up to hug my mother before sitting back down, I'm between Hawks and Dad. Is that a good thing?

"So you got a high rank?" Dad asks, I nod a little as Hawks pouts "And she won't tell anyone.""Oh stop pouting you over grown rooster." I tell the bird, making the rabbit hero laugh "I've only known you for ten minutes and I already like ya kid."

"You betrayed me Rumi!" Keigo place his hand over his heart as I stiffle a laugh, "Not you too Kiki!"

"Sorry not sorry." I smile at home. "Endeavor," Hawks whines in a child-like voice, holding the first and second e out "Azula is being a meanie."
Mom shakes her head smiling while Dad shrugs, taking my side. I stick my tongue out at Hawks, he does the same towards me. "And you two are high ranked heroes." Edgeshot sighs as we get our glasses filled, including min with red wine. "Um." I don't know if I should drink it or not, I mean that would be underage drinking and I'm sitting next to my dad.We make pleasant conversation, Dad not saying much and Hawks refusing to talk to me and Mirko. I don't think it will last long, I mean it's Hawks we're talking about.

"So are you going to tell us what your rank is?" Mom asks me, making me blush "Um, I don't know if I want to tell." I tell my mother. "Well you already make Hawks look bad." Mirko says, drinking more wine "I mean top five after only working for a month."

"I still don't know how that worked to my rank." I sigh "Unless they include my sidekick work too. Or two heroes buttered everyone up about me."
"I mean you did carry Endeavor bridal style." Mirko shrugs, turning Dad fifty shades of red darker "You had to bring it up didn't you." he grumbles.
"Yup."
"Why aren't you drinking your wine?" Keigo asks me, "You should know the answer already Hawks." I answer.
Dinner comes, not tasting too bad, the goes without me taking a sip of the wine. Though my nerves are starting to act up again and my left finger tips are starting to frost up a little, making my place that hand under the table and on my lap. Hopefully no one notices.

Don't get me wrong, sitting with my family helped me relax more. Just the stress and minimal sleep from the mission likes to insert itself in other aspects of my life, there has been a few time that my left side would start frosting up at school. But I haven't been caught yet.

Then it's time for the dancing. I've never danced before, unless you count fighting villains as a tango. I go and stand over by the wall, like a wall flower. I notice my hand frosting up more, not good. I hold my left hand in my right to warm it up a bit before anyone notices.

"Looks like I'm not the only anti-social." says a familiar gruff voice beside me. "Sensei." I bow my head slightly toward my teacher before saying "I'm just not one for dancing." I tell him.

My teacher nods, seeing him in a suit is a little strange, not bad just a rarity. "I'm guessing Midoriya didn't want to come."
I move my head in agreement "If he did then he would say that he told me so by now."
"High rank?"
"Way high." I mumble, "Top hundred?" he asks, sipping a drink. "That is n understatement." I sigh "In Mirko's words I'm making Hawks look bad." I answer. It's nice talking to someone that is not Mt Lady, no offence towards her fans.
"That high?" Aizawa raises an eyebrow "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're second, but I didn't hear the over grown bird say anything about going back down to third."

"That's because we fucking tied for second." I groan, yes I cusses in front of my teacher. It's not like Tenshi is here. "You're a natural hero Kiki." Sensei tells me "And the fact that you have seen first hand what villains do gives you an advantage that most rookies don't get till after a few years."

"Thanks Sensei." I smile as my fellow top tier heroes walk over. "Kiki!" Hawks smiles "Wanna dance with me?"

"Brat, she's my daughter." Dad says, don't tell me that Dad wants a dance with me too. "So you both want to dance with me." I state "Why don't you guys dance with each other? I mean as practice for the wedding." I smile sweetly at them. "Come on Endeavor!" Hawks says "You heard the girl and if anyone asks we can point the finger at her."

The two walk off and back on to the dance floor, "I can't believe you got Endeavor to dance with Hawks." Aizawa says. "Charms of being the youngest daughter," I smile at him "I can get my way with Toya sometimes too."

"I can believe that."

The dance continues, Hawks looking content as he talks to Dad while my father looks a little uncomfortable. In all, the sight is priceless, but I won't get it on film. I can wait for the wedding.

"Hello Kiki! Hello Eraserhead!" I turn to see Gunhead, "Hi Gunhead, how are you?" I smile.

"I'm doing great, how are you?" the Battle Hero says/asks. I give a shrug "Haven't keen over yet." is my answer, "No different than the rest of us." Aizawa-sensei says.

I talk with Gunhead for a bit, until the song is over. Dad and Hawks are the only ones left on the dance floor, not that Hawks minded. I see Dad go over to Mom as soon as the song was over, but his dance partner comes over to me. "Now may I have a dance?" he gives me a bow with his right hand out for me to take.

"Alright." I say after Gunhead gives me a bit of a push forward. I slip my heels off, I'm already taller than the hero the heels don't make him any taller. Everyone can judge all they want.
"Just to warn you," I say to Hawks "I've never danced in this sense before."
"Ah, a preference of tangos with villains." Keigo wink "I now appreciate your lack of heels a little more." I merely chuckle as I place my left hand on his right shoulder, my right in his left and his right on my side.
"So," Hawks says after he had taught me how to dance (a simple slow dance) "any hints on what your rank is?"
"I don't know," my tone thoughtful "what Mirko said is a pretty good hint."
"That's not a good hint Kiki." Hawks pouts a little, "So the remark about my genetics isn't a hint?" I ask with a slight head tilt before laughing "And I thought you were an Endeavor fan."He gasps "I have been. fan since I was young and he was number two."
"Keeping the spot extra toasty." I hum, a segway into my extra hint, "I'd think so." Keigo says.

"Well then it's safe to assume that the number two spot would need to cool down a little."Keigo tilts his head at my analogy of a hint "Huh?"

I chuckle slightly "So any plans made for your wedding?" changing the subject. "Nothing really, I got a bit of a guest list, but most of them are on Toya's side." Hawks explains but the song comes to a close before I can say anything else. "Well I would ask for about dance, but I think your father is getting jealous." Hawks says. "Maybe you can ask Mom to dance." I laugh as my father comes over.

"Great idea." with that, the bird is gone and the Firelord takes his place.
"I can't believe you made me dance with Hawks." Dad says as the music plays once more. " I didn't make you Dad, I just gave a suggestion." I smile at him.

"Hawks took it as a request."

"Not my fault."

"So, are you going to tell anyone what your rank is?" Dad changes the subject. I give a him, "I told Sensei, well more like he guessed on his part, and I gave Hawks a hint or two but he doesn't seem to understand them." I answer.

"Do I get a hint?" he asks, "Well it wouldn't be fair if I didn't give you one too." I smile "But only one."

Dad rolls his eyes a little "Fine, why might that hint be?"

"That my genetics are at it again." I smile brightly. My father gives a confused look, much like Hawks, before realization hits at the end of the song "You're kidding right?" he asks.
"Nope." I reply, popping the "P".

Over 3000 words, I am very impress with myself.

I am also proud that I managed to basically redo this chapter after Wattpad didn't fully update it. Just a copy + paste situation. See ya next chapter!!
