Ninety-four

Good Morning Dear readers!

"Azula, you need to wake up." I hear my mom chuckle. I might've just rolled over and hug my pillow.

Only for my left shoulder to be Oh hell naw! Causing me to jerk up in pain. "Are you alright?" Mom asks kneeling beside me, "Yeah." I smile at her, now realizing that I am outside and not in my room. Beside me is Izuku and Tenshi, the three of us under a blanket. "Well breakfast is ready and we are planning to go to the shrines later." Mom tells me. "Okay Mom, we will be in there in a bit." I smile as she goes over to the pile of feathers that I assume to be Hawks and possibly Toya. "I'll get them up too." I tell her. Mom gives me a thank you as she goes back inside. I will start with Izuku and Tenshi.

Tenshi was the easiest as I just have to shake her a little before she wakes up. She gives a little yawn, as she comes to my embrace "Want to help me wake Dada and Toto up?" I ask her. Tenshi nods her head before pouncing on her dad. "Wake up!" she orders, but he was awoken with the pounce "I'm awake, I'm awake." he says as Tenshi hugs her father. "Morning." I smile, placing a kiss on his forehead "Mom got breakfast ready. Tenshi and I are going wake the last two." I tell him. "Okay, just give me a sec." he yawns. I get up and walk over to the feathers, tens out Takami is already awake. "Morning." I say to him. "Good morning, mind helping me?" he asks. He move the wing that is covering them to reveal Toya cuddling with the bird. "Wait, get a picture first." Hawks requests. I do so before thinking of how we can wake Toya up "Tickling him?" I suggest as Tenshi wobbles over, grabbing my pants' leg. "Toto." She says before going over to poke her uncle's head. That poke turns into a thwak. "Tenshi!" I chide "It's not nice to hit people." As Toya rolls over and into the snow. "Well, at least he is off my wing." Takami says, sitting up and stretching. "Toya wake up or no mochi." I say, causing my brother to sit up "You wouldn't." he says.

"I might." I smile, "I haven't had any mochi since the summer." Toya says.

"And whose fault is that?" I ask. "Your twin's cause he burned the box and we haven't bought any since."

I stick my tongue out at my oldest brother "Come on Tenshi, Grandma has breakfast ready."

"Okay Mama!" she smiles before running inside, "So when are you guys going to tell everyone about your relationship?" I ask them, Izuku had gone in with Tenshi.

"Good question." Takami notes. "It doesn't help with the comment you made last night." Toya grumbles, "There was a baby in the area, so if anything blame him." I repute, pointing at Keigo.

"How dare you accuse Japan's Number Two Hero of such a crime!" Hawks exclaims dramatically "Would you do this to your father?"

"No comment." I smile before walking inside.

"Thank you for the food!" we all chime, Tenshi trys to mimic us "Baku for the foo." she claps bringing chuckles from the majority, "It's 'thank you' not 'Baku'." Katsuki tells her, but she doesn't care as she reaches for the food before her. "Calm down." I laugh bringing her a spoonful of her Ozoui soup after cooling it down a little.

Time Skip 👘

I dress Tenshi in one of my old kimonos that Mom found with an icy design. I look in the closet for one that I can wear, nada.

"Sho!" I call "Do you have a kimono that I can borrow?!"

"Come in and we can see!" so I walk into Shoto's room.

"Fucking hell?! Don't you know how to knock?!" Bakugo says covering himself up. I give a shrug before walking over to Shoto, who is looking in his closet with a couple of kimonos. "Old habit." I shrug to Bakugo as Shi pulls out a red kimono with a white obi (sash) "Thank you Sho!" I smile, taking the traditional outfit and giving my twin a kiss on the cheek. "Oi, he's mine." the jealous boyfriend says, still covering himself up when Sho is walking around in his boxers (We shared the womb and we've shared a room). "He was mine first." I wink before leaving to get change.

"Come on Mama!" Tenshi says, dragging me to the shine. "Calm down." I smile, she is just as bad as Toga.

"Like mother like daughter." my mother chuckles, holding my father's hand.

"I want to go to the temple!" my daughter tells me, "We need to get our omikuji first." Izuku explains to our little one. "Omiji?" she stops dragging me, thank goodness. "Omikuji." he repeats "Predictions for the up coming year." Izu takes our daughter's other hand and we got to the stand that is selling them. I give the attendant my old charm and the required yen for the new one. The first charm will be burned with the others.

I look around, the crowd is a lot smaller compared to many of the more popular Shinto shrines like the one in Tokyo. But there is still a large amount of people here. "Stay by us, okay?" I inform Tenshi, she nods her head and tightens her grip on mine and Izu's hands.

We get our fortunes, all of ours good, and get our new charms and Tenshi her first. "Dada, can you read this to me?" Tenshi asks, holding up her fortune. "Sure." he smiles, picking her up before reading it to her as we make our way to the shrine

Two bow, two claps, a prayer and another bow later

We exit the shrine and sit down on a nearby bench to wait for the rest of the group. "I'm glad we were able to spend New Year's together." Izuku smiles before kissing my cheek. "Me too." I smile back as Tenshi climbs onto his lap.

YAAAAAAAY!!!!! ANOTHER CHAPTER DONE!!! I did a lot of research about the shrine visits and other New Year's traditions in Japan and the "Two bows, two claps, prayer then another bow" is actually what they do in the Shinto Shrines, similarly in Buddhist Temples but without the claps.

So, this is your early welcome to 2021 🎉🍡
