Grey and green eyes landing straight at his silver ones, slight smiles feeling the gifted soldiers as they stood proud. 

Yui and Riku was the chosen gifted for his school, Furuichi couldn't help but smile at the odds and seeing his siblings once again. He saw them once a year at the gifted base and rarely got calls or texts from them. So this was a little special for him to see them, even if they had to act like they didnt know each other to protect others from finding out he was gifted. 

Yui stood in the basic military unifrom with dark reddish brown boots and had the lace done up basically. She had her long sleeve top buttons all undone showing her dark red vest completely and showing her proud dog tags. But with her using her military top like a jacket her vest showed her body shape giving the other guys good eye candy. She had her long brown hair tied up in a pony tail with the sides down. Her green eyes shined slightly as she smiled a little more after seeing her little brother, a scar was seen slight at the top of her chest but Furuichi already knew how she gain that one. 

Riku stood in the basic military unifrom with black army boots but the laces slightly lose. He had his long sleeve top with the top three buttons undone showing his black vest under. He wasn't wearing his military hat but then no one ever did since no one really gave a shit when you might end up dying any moment. He had a scar over his cheek but he stilled grinned like an idiot. His grey eyes sparkling with joy and his brown hair was still styled but it seemed he dyed his hair blonde and it suited him well. His dog tags hanged around his neck proudly. 

Micky, he was wearing the military unifrom completely proper. His uniform all done up right and his dog tags laid over his military top around his neck instead of under. He had neat brown boots with the lace dont up neatly and rightly. He stood proud apart from not having his hat but like I said no one really cared if you wore it or not. The higher ups didnt bother to punish anyone since they only cared they had part of the uniform on and did their jobs right. 

"Everyone meet Yui and Riku, they both second ranks gifted who have my respect so please do respect them during today as well" Micky spoke with a bright smile as he looked to the class before taking a step back as the other two took a step forward.

"Look we know some of you might hate us since we freaks but we the ones keeping you alive from those monsters outside the walls. We know how bad it might be outside of those walls and we need to tell you .. its bad. We outnumber and not many gifted are born meaning we have less numbers to fight with while at least one of us will die in a week. We need soldiers who are brave enough to stand on those walls and shoot any creatures that come close while we hunting them far away from the walls. We need soldiers who can fight if we gifted lose the battle one day. We need help" Yui spoke with a small worried smile as she glanced around the room showing how important this is.

"We outnumber by 1-10, One of us take 16-18 years before we ready to fight outside the walls but for those creatures it only takes a week for ten to be born. Thanks to the human race becoming un-scared and uncaring over what happens outside the walls since you just think us gifted will take care of those creatures and keep you all alive, well it stopped others from joining up as soldiers. We low on soldiers, only five students will join up to be soldiers once they turn eighteen yearly now. Only five each year .. we need more to join up or we could risk losing the walls and letting those creatures break in. We not trying to scare you in joining but today everyone school will be told the same face becuase we low on numbers as gifted and now we low on numbers as soldiers" Riku spoke with worry and kept a serious face on instead of his normal smiley one making Furuichi worry.

"A new base will be opening up, it be across the road from this school meaning we see each other more often but it also mean you might see us leave to start our shifts at the walls and take the gifted outside the walls. You notice how few of soldiers we got and how little Gifted we got fighting in this city. Most gifted are driven to other cities, bigger and richer cities so they be protected more then our own meaning we left with basics. This is why we need more help" Micky spoke up and stepped forward so he stood between the other two.

"any questions" Micky asked with a small caring smile as he looked to the class.

"Is it really bad out there" Furuichi asked trying to keep his worry for his siblings hidden from his class and his siblings eyes sadden.

"Yes, twenty years ago we would have thirty normal soldiers sign up each year and at least ten gifted children ever two years. Now we be lucky to get one gifted every two years and well like we said only five humans will join up if we lucky. Right now, there are only five of us gifted left in this city who joined up and that all we got to keep the creatures back outside the walls. We need people guarding the walls or we will be overrun by a couple years if we lucky to last that long" Yui answered with a frown and Furuichi just gave a small nod. 

"You said something about most gifted being taken to the better cities hidden under other walls. Why not ask for some gifted back and I thought you still got basic gifted numbers yearly .. why the sudden drop" Oga asked as he looked to the three soldiers while baby beel climbed into Furuichi desk feeling the silver hair boy distress and sat in his arms. 

"Gifted children who are on bases are taken straight to other cities from the age of fourteen, they let us keep one to keep this city safe. People are also attacking gifted children since the list of children born in the last twenty years who were gifted was leak, there was a huge hunt for them five years ago and I'm sad to say out of the fifty on that list, only twelve are still alive. Well eleven since one was killed in battle a couple days ago. We being hunted by the human race as well as those creatures" Riku explained and Furuichi looked to baby beel not wanting anyone to see the sadness or pain in his silver eyes.

"A hunt, I dont remember anything like that" Takashi asked with panic but Furuichi remembered those two months of yell. He remembered the base taking them into a bunker to hide his small family but it didnt keep them safe. Other newbies soldiers told the hunters about bunkers and that how most of the gifted was found and dragged out before killed. Furuichi killed his first human and his second during those times when his family was almost killed. It was kept from the news since most humans didnt see it as a horrifying act. 

"It happened but no one saw it important news to be on the news show. Many adults joined the hunt and it was seen as something fun. But it was just mass murder and those poor children were all killed in such awful ways only for the killers to get away with it" Micky spoke in a weak voice and looked to the floor.

"I do remember something about a hunting game but I always thought it was a new game released, my father told me about .. he said it was a horrible game to be played. I guess I now know why he said it with such disgust" Nene mutter in shame. 

"If we do all join up as soldiers and help shoot down any creatures that come close, how will that help with the issues of you not having many gifted" Chiaki asked in a small voice.

"Well the more soldiers we can trust to protect the walls while our gifted is out means the more numbers we got and can request gifted being sent to our city. Since you need at least ten soldier per gifted soldier, in case the gifted lose control or fight back its so their a number that should be able to take the gifted down. If we get another soldiers numbers then we can get more gifted" Micky explained with a hopeful smile.

"Why not buy a gifted soldier, I hear you can buy them since that what other cities do" Himekawa spoke up and the two gifted soldiers frown.

"The city not rich enough and if we do buy some while still only having a small soldier count then we only be given the gifted who close to retire age meaning they mostly be killed while hunting down the creatures since they too old to truly fight but gifted retirement is made up by being shot in the head. Or we be given a gifted who used too much of their power and close to killing themselves if they keep using so much power at a time" Yui replied and the class gave slight nods in understanding.

"So building up soldiers count is the only way to keep gifted once they off age to fight and to build up a better defence" Aoi replied and the three soldiers nodded.

"what will happen if the last of the gifted are killed before we gain enough soldiers" Yuka asked with fear.

"It means we all fucked" Kanzaki sighed. 

"No one will be left to keep the creatures back meaning they slowly come closer to the wall until they learn that only wall guns are left and then they keep attacking until the break in. Meaning out city will become a slaughter to the creatures mercy" Natsume explained. 

"Your friends are correct, once us six gifted die then it only be a sort time before the creatures break into the walls. I'm also sad to say that no other wall will come and save you from them either, your all be left to die and those lucky enough to escape and try and travel to another wall. The closest wall is a week travel by car, two weeks on foot. No way your survive that long" Riku mumbled making the class frown. 

"We have heart and a little bit of brains so we know to do the right thing but how do you know others will join up and help when they off age. Many still dislike you gifted since rumours go around your new powers were given at the same time those creatures were made making some think your the reason those creatures were given life. Not many will understand the dangers of not helping you while we can" Tora spoke up and the three soldiers gave kind smiles.

"We know but we keep fighting trying to protect you and when there only one gifted left alive we warn the city .. we have two bus's ready to take a small amount of children to another wall. But that bus wouldnt have room for everyone children or those who dont want to die. It be a horrible ending but we try and protect you all till the end lets just hope it doesn't come to that" Micky replied and everyone looked to their desks. 

"well that all the time we allowed for today, sadly we till got to go outside the walls today" Yui mutter with a sweet smile making Furuichi head shot up and look to his siblings with worry.

"Have a good day" Riku smiled kindly and the two gifted left first.

"the base will be open by tomorrow since we doing all the moving today .. its just an old middle school single floor building but we can use it. Please come over and visit if you have any questions" Micky spoke with a kind voice before walking out leaving the class just sitting there in silent to think over everything they were told.
