Three months later

Your POV

After everyone went back to Japan you kept in touch with them again. You even try talking to everyone from school again. Rivalz was happy to hear how you were doing and began to cry. Saying that you should have called more or at least message him to let him know you were alive. Milly said the same thing and gave me her famous spell to relax. As well to message her as soon as you can. Nina was a different story though she was happy that you called her, but she hope you can hang out together when you see each other again.

Suzaku has it hard to talk to lately, but knowing his job as Zero you understood. He can't always have time to call plus you guys have different time zones. Yet he tries to send a message or two to let you know he's alive.

Lelouch and C.C were allowed to stay at the base to keep them away from getting used as weapons. They didn't mind staying and Lelouch mange to get his diploma and was allowed to work around the base.

C.C had been learning how to make remedies as well as how to treat injuries. She's a fast learner and a natural at medicine.

"Hey, aren't you going to Britannia soon?" C.C asked.

"Yeah, Nanunally wants me to see her and wants me to bring Lelouch so they can hang out. You sure you don't want to come too?" You asked.

"Nah people can tell it's me plus I like it here."  She said as she put some books away.

"Alright, I better go finish packing then." You said as you left to finish packing.

"Let's see well I guess a dress or two would be needed in case they throw a party. And knowing Nunnanlly she'll throw one for sure." You said out loud and pulled out two dresses that Ayano made you buy along with some matching heels.

'Okay, I think that's it all that's left is my toothbrush and toothpaste and that's it.' You thought as you put your luggage next to the door.

"Hey I'm coming in," Lelouch said as he came into your room.

"Yo, what's up, and don't you dare say the sky and ceiling." You said as he snapped his fingers.

Lelouch POV

"Damn so close oh well. Nothing just checking if you're done packing." I asked her as she went to get her make-up and dental stuff.

"Yeah, I'm a bit nervous I've never gone to the homelands so it's a bit scary for me." She said as she shook a little.

"Hey don't worry Suzaku will be at the landing zone to get us. All we have to do is get on the aircraft and wait. So there's nothing to worry about. Well except for that pimple you have on your forehead." I said.

"WHAT!" She looked in the mirror to see nothing on her forehead.

"Just kidding you should have seen the look on your face," I said as walked out only hearing she'll get me back for that joke.

'Honestly Suzaku this plan better work for you.'

Time skip

Suzaku POV

Everything was ready and perfect for tonight. I was nervous reck since I hardly got any sleep. What I'm nervous about now is that she will say no.

'I have to think positive after all she's the love of my life.' I thought as Gino came in all happy.

"Hey man you look like death is going to take you away any minute now." He said with a smile.

"What do you expect me to do it's a very important day. Not only do I see my girlfriend again, but it's our anniversary. How am I supposed to act?"

"Hey calm down I'm sure there's a 50% chance she might have forgotten today. That is if she has a horrible memory like Anya. Then again she was best of the class and got accepted to a university in Paris." Gino said as he puts his arm around my should and thinks back in the past.

"Geez, thanks I feel so much better now thanks for that reminder," I said with sarcasm.

"See there's the spirit you need now if you excuse me I have to go and annoy someone now. Bye!" He said as he ran off.

"I still don't see how he got Kallen to go out with him.' I took a deep breath and looked in the mirror.

"Okay I can't mess this up after all it's going to be a special night tonight."

I got to the landing platform and saw the EE.UU flag and Britannia flag as well. The door open and I saw Lelouch, wearing his disguise, come out first with a bag. Then Akito came out with two bags my guess one is Leila's bag. Leila came out after they did and then the love of my life finally came out. I can't believe her hair grew a bit longer than I remember.

"Hey, Zero long time no see how have you been," Leila said as she try to get her bag from Akito.

"I've been good now come our ride is here to take us to see her majesty," I said as I grab (F/n) hand and drag her away.

Once we put the bags in and got in the car they looked out the window to see the homelands.

"Wow it's so much more than I expected," Leila said as (F/n) looked as well. After a few hours of driving (F/n) fell asleep and laid her head on my shoulder.

'Seems like they're all tired from that long flight.' I began to look at (F/n) adorable sleeping face. I brought out my phone and took a picture of her sleeping. What she doesn't know won't hurt her.

"Delete that picture if you want to live." I heard her mumble and soon her eye open slowly. I finally see those lovely (e/c) again.

"I guess you heard the camera huh."

"You seriously need to put that in silence. So are we there yet?"

"Yeah we're almost there but before I forget happy anniversary," I said as I kiss her head.

"So you remembered huh your lucky I won't have to remind you today." She said as she hugged me.

"Of course any way let's go on a date tonight just you and me. I have it all planned out for today so will you join me for dinner, my princess?" She smiled and kiss my cheek.

"Does that answer your question?" I smiled and nodded.

Your POV

You finally arrive at the palace and it was huge. Nothing you ever imagine in your wildest dreams.

"Wow, this is so cool I can't believe I'm here." You said as you saw the gardens and the verity of colors.

"Hello everyone welcome to my home," Nunnanlly said as she was waiting for us at the door.

"Your majesty it's an honor to see you again," Leila said as you all bowed to Nunnanlly.

"Please don't bow to me your my friends and part of my family. I'm honor to see you the most please make yourself at home. Zero will take you to your rooms I have some things that are of important matter." Nunnally said as Jeremiah push her towards her office.

"If you all follow me. I'll escort you all to your rooms." Suzaku said as he grab your hand and began to take everyone to their rooms. He drop everyone one by one until it was only the two of you.

"Hey, I'll pick you up at 6 to take you out for dinner. I have a surprise for you as well." He said as you stood in front of your room.

"Okay, should I dress up for the occasion?" You said in a teasing manner.

"If you want to. Anyway, I have to do something and I'll come back and get you okay." He said as he grab your hand.

"Okay, I'll see you soon." You walked into your room and it was very elegant. Olive Green walls gave that relaxing feeling. A bed that looks like it was from a magazine catalog as well as a personal bathroom with a shower tub. It screams French country all over this room.

"Wow, I can't believe that they live like this every day. Must have taken a year or two to remodel everything from the original."

Time skip (again)

Suzaku POV

I had finished everything the food was taken to the table and covered with a silver hood. Everything had to go perfect and be ready for tonight. I got to my room and change into a suit and put the item in my pocket.

"Okay, you can do this," I said to myself in the mirror and walked out. I walked towards her room and I got there exactly at 6. I could hear my heart pound loudly that could make someone hear it. I knock on the and she came out with a dress that made her look like it was made for her.

"Earth to Suzaku? Is anybody there?" She said as she wave her hand in front of me.

"Yeah, you just look so beautiful in that dress," I said as she blushed.

'Cute'

"Shall we go the night is still young?"

"Yeah," she said as she closed her door. We began to walk to the gardens and follow the path to where I had everything set up.

"Suzaku did you do this?" At said in awe.

"I wanted this to be perfect so I've been planning this. For the past few weeks and made sure everything was perfect. After all, it's not every day we celebrate together." She smiled and his me lovingly.

I pulled away and went to pull out a chair and brought out the food that was still warm and served her favorite food. (F/f) and (2F/f) and (F/d).

"I hope you like it," I said with a smile.

"Suzaku honestly you spoil me too much." She smiled as we began to eat our dinner. Everything was going perfect even when the light turn on and show the tree.

'Okay now's the perfect time to ask her.'

"(F/n) You know that I love you right?"

"Of course you wouldn't have gone through my beat down and lectures if you didn't. And you know that love you too." She said with a smile.

"Right anyway the point is we've been through a lot. Both of us lost our families and made new ones along the road." I got up and stood next to her and got down on one knee.

"(F/n) (L/n) over the time we've been together. I know I can't live without you beside me. So will you give me the honor of becoming my wife and start a family together." I said as I pulled out a ring that had been in >d her head.

"Suzaku yes a million times yes!" She said as she hugged me. I slip the ring on and it looks beautiful on her.

"This is the best anniversary ever." She said tears still coming from the happiest moment of her life.

"And our future will be more than a happily ever after," I said as I kiss her passionately.
