Chapter 5: I'm Not Leaving Without Her
Viper
It's her! I cannot believe it, after all these years she is finally standing in front of me. She has definitely grown up. I can hardly believe this is the same little girl that used to drive me crazy by following me around everywhere. I can't help myself; I give her a wicked smile as I tilt my head to the side to study her. I have to hold back my laughter at her change in demeanor as I do.
She went from shocked and confused, to pissed off in record time. Not that I'm complaining in the least. Her arms are below her C cup breasts, her hip tipped to the side, and her long legs are spread out, as she glares those beautiful blue green globes of hers at me. I have to hold back the laughter I feel at the bottom of my throat, because I need her to willingly come with me tonight. Not that it matters in the least to me, I'll still force her if need be.
"Enough of this shit. Slide into the booth and lets get this finished up so I can high tail my ass out of town." Her despicable uncle grumbles at her. She straightens her shoulders and begins to walk towards the booth I just got out of. I can't help but be an ass, I move closer to the table, causing her to touch my body as she slides in.
I was wondering if she was as effected by me as I am her. If her catch in breath, the goosebumps growing along the skin of her arm, and the fact she can't look directly at me anymore tells me all I need to know. I have to bite my bottom lip to hold in my devilish smirk that wants to come out. There will be enough time for that later. Right now, I need to place my game face on to get through the rest of this night.
"What is this about?" I hear her whisper at her uncle to my left. I watch as the filthy animal, gives her a full-blown smile. "Viper here wants to take you and Lilith off my hands for good." I hear her surprise intake of breath. I see her turn her head my way out of the corner of my eye.
"Why would you do that?" She asks me. I turn my head to the side, raising an eyebrow at her. Is she serious right now? Why would I want to do that? I look at her uncle a moment. "Will you give us a second? I need to talk with her privately." He simply nods his head with a sigh, waving us off with his hand.
I stand from the booth, expecting her to follow me. When she doesn't, I reach over and grab a hold of her arm. I pull her from the booth and drag her along until we reach the door to the diner. "Lilith." She pulls her arm from me, looking behind her. A worried look is on her face, "My guys are watching her." I tell her honestly.
She looks from me to her baby sister, and back to me. "I don't really know any of you." She isn't wrong there. However, me and my brothers are very protective of children. I hold her face between my hands, looking deep into her eyes. "You used to trust me more than anyone else. Remember?" She doesn't remove her eyes from mine. Biting her bottom lip, she nods her head. "Can we stay close to the door where I can see inside?" I give her one simple nod of my head, as I pull open the door.
She looks at her sister once more over her shoulder. Lilith smiles at her and waves. The girl playing a card game with Hammer right now. With a deep breath, she walks out the door, standing off to the side, with her arms over her chest. I stand across from her, allowing her to look from me and into the diner.
Pulling out he cigarettes I have in my pocket, I place one in between my lips, and light it up. I see she is studying me in the dark, with only the light from the lamp post behind her illuminating her face. Her nose scrunches up, as she places her hand in front of her nose, while I let out the smoke from my lungs through my nose.
With a smile I ask her, "don't like cigarettes?" She simply shakes her head in the negative. "Let me just take a few more drags from this then I'll put it out." She doesn't speak, just looks away from me and into the diner once more. While her head is facing away from me, and I am covered in the darkness of the night, I take this moment to really look her over.
She's got long black hair, that's set in a bun on top of her head, a symmetric nose along her face, two beautiful blue green eyes. When she looks right at me, I find my breath catching whenever I look deep into those gorgeous globes of hers. She has the most beautiful pouty lips I have ever seen. I can't help but want to grab her and pull her in for a sweet kiss.
Her breasts are the perfect size, they'll fit nicely in the palm of my hands, she has a flat stomach, and glorious hips. Her ass is nice and round, bubbly in fact. So much that I can grab a nice handful whenever I want to pull her body to me. She has nice long legs that go on for days. She is the perfect package.
She looks back my way, I'm guessing she can feel my eyes looking at her. I take one last puff, drop it to the ground and stomp on it with my boot. "What are you up to exactly?" She slants her head to the side, squinting her eyes at me. She doesn't trust the opposite sex in the least. That's been evident in the last fifteen minutes since she arrived.
"No angle at all." I shrug my shoulders at her. "I simply want to keep my promise to your father. It took me fourteen years to find you. I have had Hammer and a few others that are the best hackers I have ever met looking for you." I inform her. She steps from one foot to the other looking down at the ground. "They weren't able to find you until a few days ago. Apparently, you opened your own bank account on the down low." Her head skyrockets to me. Eyes wide.
"You used an alias when you opened it. Meaning things obviously haven't been going well for you. If I had to guess with how your body quakes in your uncle's presence and around other men in general..." I look to the side and away from her. So, I can gather my wits about me. I can't afford to get pissed off until the deal goes through.
"You haven't had the best life since your mother ran away with you." Judging by her surprise intake of breath, her head tipping down so she can look at the ground once more, and the fact that her breathing has sped up, I hit the nail on the head. "We don't have to discuss it all now. I just need you to know," I break my words off. Waiting for her to look up at me once more.
When I see her eyes my way, I move in a little closer to her. Dropping my voice an octave so only she can hear me. "You will be coming home with me and my brothers tonight. Whether you willingly walk out of this diner with me, or I have to swing you over my shoulder kicking and screaming. You are coming home. Where you should have been all these fucking years." She says nothing, only looks at me with new fire behind her eyes.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" She tries to shove at my chest, to get me to step back and away from her. She doesn't like it when people crowd her space. She never has, but I can only imagine what she has been through and figuring it's much worse now. Of course, I feel like being an asshole. I don't budge in the least. In fact, I crowd into her body more, placing an arm on each side of her body against the railing behind her.
She tries to step back, forgetting that she's trapped between me and the railing. Her breathing picks up more, and I can see her heartbeat going a mile a minute in her throat. Lifting one of my hands, I place it behind her neck, bringing her face closer to me. "Breath Alley Cat. Just breath for me." Her breath catches at the nickname I gave her when we were kids. It feels good to call her that once more.
I take a deep breath myself, waiting for her to catch on. Once she does, she follows my lead. Taking a deep breath in, slowly letting it out, and repeating that for a few minutes. Once she's nice and calm, I place my forehead along hers. I can see tears in the corner of her eyes, she's fighting not to let them fall.
A knock on the window gains both of our attention. Rex stands there nodding his head at me. I give him one in return, a conniving smile forming along my face. I feel her eyes swing my way, "What's going on?" I hear the panic in her voice. Turning to face her I tell her honestly. "The funds went through." She looks back into the diner, as we watch her uncle form a smile like the cat that got the canary.
He stands from the booth and walks out the back door. I know he's leaving town, trying to get as far away and as fast as he can. Once Drake catches word of what transpired tonight his life is on the line for sure. She looks at me once more. "Where is he going?" I shrug my shoulders at her.
"Who knows. I don't really give a flying fuck." I tell her truthfully. My guys grab Lilith's bookbag and Hammer takes her hand in his. They all make to towards the door. We take a step back, allowing them to all meet us out here. "What are you doing?" She practically yells at Hammer. Taking a hold of her sister's hand, she reaches for her bag that's on his shoulder. I stop her with my hand, and when her eyes cut to me, I see a fire burning inside. Lifting her hand off my best friend, I nod him towards our bikes. "Got it." He walks by us and to my bike. He will be driving my Harley Betty, while I drive his truck.
He swings a leg over the bike, digs in his pocket and throws the keys my way. Without looking away from her I catch them in my palm. "Answer me!" She demands. I walk closer to her, my hand still holding hers. "Taking you home where you belong." Bringing my face close to hers, so close our lips almost touch, "You need to be with the man that is soon to be your husband." Her eyes grow wide with my new information as I give her a devilish smile.
