Mythili's POV -

The sun had just begun its descent, casting a warm golden hue across the cabin of Shivaay's private jet. Yes, he owns a freakin private jet and I didn't even know why I was so surprised with the knowledge of this fact.

I peered out of the window, my breath catching at the breathtaking view that unfolded before me. London, spread out like a shimmering fabric below, with its iconic landmarks peeking through the clouds.

"Shivaay, look!" I exclaimed, my voice tinged with excitement as I tugged at his sleeve.

He turned his gaze from the laptop screen before him and followed my pointing finger to the window. A soft smile touched his lips as he took in my awe-struck expression.

"Pretty impressive, isn't it?" he said, his voice gentle.

I nodded vigorously, unable to tear my eyes away from the stunning view. The Thames River gleamed like liquid silver, snaking its way through the heart of the city. Tower Bridge stood majestically, its elegant form a symbol of London's grandeur. The sprawling green parks, the intricate web of streets, and the mosaic of architectural styles all merged to create a mesmerizing sight.

"I've seen pictures and movies, but this... this is something else," I breathed, my voice filled with wonder.

Shivaay leaned back in his seat, his eyes never leaving my face. "It's a different experience when you see it in person, isn't it?"

"Absolutely," I replied, a dreamy smile curving my lips. "I feel like I'm in a movie right now, flying over this magnificent city with you."

He chuckled softly, a warm sound that sent a shiver of delight down my spine. "Well, you could have this cinematic moment sitting right next to me is what I had hoped for."

As the plane glided through the sky, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of awe and gratitude. Here I was, on a private jet with the man I had come to care for deeply, flying over one of the most iconic cities in the world. The thought was almost surreal.

Shivaay's hand found mine on the armrest, his fingers intertwining with mine in a gentle, comforting hold. I turned to look at him, my heart swelling with emotion. His eyes held a warmth that mirrored my own, and in that moment, everything felt perfect.

As we touched down London's Heathrow Airport, I could hardly contain my excitement. I had always wanted to visit here. My parents took a trip here with my brother a few years back and I was so desperate to go but.....well.

A car was waiting for us. Shivaay opened the gate for me as I slipped in and he made his way to the other side. The drive through the city was a blur of iconic sights and vibrant streets, but as we turned a corner, my breath caught in my throat.

Before us stood a magnificent Shard in its grandeur illuminated by the soft glow of streetlights. I pressed my face against the window, hardly daring to believe what I was seeing.

"Shivaay, is that...?" I stammered, unable to finish my sentence.

" Our hotel, yes Mythili." He turned to me with a mischievous grin and I had no idea how to react.

As the car pulled up in front of the entrance, a doorman opened the door, greeting us with a warm smile. My heart raced as we stepped inside, and the sheer opulence of the lobby nearly took my breath away. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a dazzling light across marble floors. The scent of fresh flowers lingered in the air, and the sound of soft piano music filled the space.

"Shivaay, this is... I don't even have words," I murmured, my eyes wide with disbelief.

He took my hand, his touch grounding me in the moment. "I thought you might like it."

We checked in and were led to an elevator that whisked us up to our suite. The door swung open to reveal a spacious, elegantly decorated space that seemed straight out of a fairy tale. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of the city's twinkling lights, and a plush king-sized bed was adorned with luxurious linens.

I walked around the room in a daze, my fingers brushing against delicate fabrics and intricate furnishings. Shivaay stood by the window, watching me with an expression that held a mixture of amusement and fondness, I think but I couldn't help it.

This was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my life.

" What time is it?" I turned around to ask him, finally breaking out of my daze.

" Almost time for dinner." He replied and my eyes widened.

" Dinner? I wanted to go out first. From tomorrow you will be completely busy with your meetings and...." I didn't realise that I was complaining to him and when I did, I immediately stopped talking.

What was wrong with me? We were here for work and he has already done so much for me. How can I possibly be asking more from him.

You're so stupid Mythili!

" Why did you stop? Go on." He had a faint smirk playing on his lips and I pressed mine in annoyance over myself as I looked at him and found him walking towards me.

" Nothing. Nothing." I said while he circled his arms around my waist and pulled me to him while his fingers played with the loose strands of my hair, occasionally his knuckles touching the nape of my neck, sending shivers and jitters down my spine while I kept still, clutching onto the hem of his coat jacket sleeve tightly.

" This is the first time you have talked to me with all the rights you have on me, including the right to be mad at me Mythili and you say it is nothing? It is everything. But you shouldn't have stopped. I wanted you to finish that sentence but I know you won't." He chuckled and I looked at him, confused.

" What's so funny?" I couldn't help but ask what amused him.

" You think we're here just for work. That is what's amusing." That smile was still there and I had to remind myself to breathe every second that I stood there in his arms.

" But.....Wait, what?" I was too stunned to speak. If he was saying what I thought he was going to say, then I might really have a chance to be a tourist here in the UK!

" Once we are done with work, we have a week here where we can go wherever you feel like." He confirmed my doubts and I heard myself shriek before throwing my arms around his shoulders and then throwing myself at him and a laughter erupted out of him.

" That's what I thought." I heard him say and a smile made it's way on me.

" Thank youu!" I told him but I didn't want to let go of him and he didn't make me. Instead, my surprised laughter filled the air as he effortlessly lifted me off the ground.

"Shivaay, what are you—"

"Trust me," he whispered, his eyes locking onto mine as he began to carry me toward the balcony.

As he stood there and I, in his arms, I couldn't look at anything else other than him and my hand automatically made it's way up to his cheekbone and I gently ran my thumb carelessly as his eyes found mine.

" There." He said, finally taking his eyes off me and my gaze followed his and boy was I amazed!

The London Eye stood tall and magnificent, adorned in an array of shimmering lights that turned the night into a cascade of colors. The reflection of its brilliance danced on the waters of the Thames, creating a symphony of light and shadow that played across the city.

My breath hitched, and I turned to Shivaay, my eyes wide with wonder. "Shivaay, it's... it's breathtaking."

"Look at the stars," Shivaay whispered, placing me back on my feet to let me enjoy this view as his voice whispered to me.

I tilted my head back, and above us, the constellations shimmered like stories written in the sky. It was as if the universe itself was conspiring to create a moment that was exclusively ours.

" This has to be a dream." I muttered to myself, my mind completely blown.

Shivaay leaned in, his lips brushing against my forehead in a gesture that felt as soft as a sigh. "No dream could ever capture your reality, Mythili."

His words made me feel things, made me feel wanted. But more than his words, his actions and presence did and I allowed myself to lean into him as I continued to soak into the beauty of the view of here.

Naturally, I couldn't sleep all night because of jet lag and hence, had to pretend to sleep so that my husband does not fret all over me. He was used to the jet lag and stuff and tomorrow was a big day for him and he needed to be all attentive.

With the sunrise, I found myself throwing out of the bed and going to freshen up and a bath before Shivaay woke up. I quickly dressed in a checkered skirt with a white blouse and the blazer which went along the skirt. Wrapping my wet hair in a towel, I walked out of the washroom and made my way in front of the mirror, applying some skincare stuff Nupur had practically forced me to use but honestly, it was doing wonders to my skin!

I had just unwrapped my hair from the towel when Shivaay's phone went off, waking him up and I found his eyes on me as he talked.

I decided to not look at him because if I did, I probably would ogle which I didn't want to get caught on. Just woken up Shivaay was a sight to behold and I wasn't even exaggerating.

While I looked at a complete animal kingdom crammed into on being when I woke up, everything was perfect when he did.

His eyes were just a bit perfectly moulded, his hair just a bit messy to perfection and everything else too and more than anything else, I was jealous of his capabilities to look the way he did when he woke up, giving me a complete inferiority complex.

" Get to breakfast and eat Mythili. I have to leave for an impromptu breakfast meeting with a few investors. I will pick you up later." He threw himself off the bed before getting himself to the restroom as I nodded, finishing getting ready.

" But it's too early to eat anything. I'll go after he leaves." I muttered to myself and sat in the balcony after I had made coffee for myself, looking over the London skyline in the morning.

To be honest, the night view was so much better, but I might be biased because of the company I had last night anyway.

As I sipped onto the coffee, my phone went off. It was Maa and excitedly picked up.

" Hi Maa. How are you? Have you been taking your medicines on time? How is Baba? Is he taking his medicines on time? Ohh and...." Before I could ask her everything I wanted to, she cut me off.

" I am fine. Your Baba is fine and everything else is fine too. Stop worrying so much Mythili. Now tell me, how is London?" She asked and I giggled at her words

" London is beautiful Maa! I can see the London Eye right now from the hotel's balcony, you know!" I exclaimed, excitedly.

" Stop making me jealous. We all girls are taking a trip soon, leaving Shivaay. He is be, well, putting it out in a polite manner, an uptight idiot." She said and this time, I absolutely couldn't stop myself from laughing.

" Done Maa." I agreed and she laughed at her own words too. She then asked me to take care of myself and Shivaay before hanging up.

I was almost done with my coffee so I went back inside to find Shivaay standing in front of the mirror, dressed.

" Your tie is slightly crooked." I said as I went to stand in front of him, adjusting it properly and as I went to withdraw my hands away, he held them in his own.

" I will see you tonight Mrs. Rathore." He said, kissing my knuckles and then giving me quick peck on the lips before walking out of the room, leaving me alone.

I was to go to the London office with Shalini Ma'am and work with her all day and in the evening, there was the party where Shivaay was officially going to launch Verve, the high-end fashion brand, exclusively for the European Markets.

The rest of the day went by me having breakfast and then getting to work as the rest of the meals were forgotten by majority of the staff because of the work load and last minute preparations.

Thankfully, by five in the evening, everything was completely ready. I had texted Shivaay asking him where was he and he let me know that we was just winding up his meetings and would meet me at the party directly.

As I got back to the hotel, there was a dress laid down on the bed for me. I picked it up and scanned it and found it to be too transparent for my taste. Shivaay wants me to where this?

I was just about to call him when my eyes landed on a neatly folded paper lying at the nightstand.

This was a gift for you from one of the investors. Walk into the closet.

~ S

I was totally confused when I got to the closet but then I found a beautiful royal blue saree right there and along with it, a second note which made me smile ear-to-ear.

" How do you do this Mr. Rathore? You have been busy all day and yet you manage time for this?" I was so amused and touched at the same time and of course, overwhelmed.

Your love for sarees suits you, Mrs. Rathore. Besides, we can always tell her that the dress had fit issues and no time to fix.

~S

" Saree it is!" I talked to myself again, hugging the note close to my chest before keeping it carefully in my bag along with the first one. It was something I felt like keeping.

Mythili's Look -

I immediately got ready and a car was here to take me. Shalini ma'am and the others had already left.

It took me about ten minutes to reach the venue and I was late.

The event space was abuzz with excitement as guests settled into their seats, the air rich with anticipation for the unveiling of Verve. Shivaay, his presence commanding the attention of the room, stood at the podium, his eyes reflecting a mixture of passion and a bit of tiredness after all the hard work he had put in.

"Ladies and gentlemen," his voice, a velvety timbre, resonated through the room as he started once he saw me walk in and our eyes met.

"Thank you for joining us tonight to celebrate the launch of this exquisite collection—a testament to craftsmanship, artistry, and the pursuit of excellence."

A hushed silence fell over the room as Shivaay's words held the audience captive, his charisma drawing them into his world of elegance and sophistication.

"At Rathore Group of Industries, we believe that fashion is more than just clothing, it's an expression of identity, a canvas upon which we paint our dreams and aspirations. This collection embodies the fusion of tradition and innovation, weaving stories of culture and creativity into every thread."

His gaze swept across the room, his eyes locking onto mine for a moment before continuing his address.

"I want to take a moment to recognize the dedicated team behind this collection—designers, artisans, and creators who have poured their hearts into bringing this vision to life. It's their relentless passion that has elevated this collection to new heights."

Shivaay's speech flowed like poetry, his words were an inspiration that wove together the essence of the collection with the spirit of those who had crafted it.

He spoke of the journey, the challenges, and the triumphs, his voice carrying the weight of his commitment to excellence.

"As we step into a new chapter with this launch, let us not forget the essence of what brings us here—the celebration of art, innovation, and the pursuit of beauty. Our hope is that every piece from this collection finds a home where it can inspire confidence, ignite creativity, and tell a story that transcends time."

The room erupted into applause as Shivaay concluded his speech, his words resonating with the hearts of those present. He stepped away from the podium, his eyes finding mine once again and I found myself the first one to clap as they others joined me.

In a while, the whole room started to enjoy the party. People were dancing, chatting. Shivaay was still talking to various people and I was standing next to Shalini ma'am who was currently discussing marketing with someone from the London office.

It felt like hours had passed away and my feet were killing me because of the heels and I was just about to excuse myself from the lot when I heard Shivaay's voice.

"Well, if it isn't the most stunning woman in the room," he greeted, his voice a low, velvet caress and I found myself blushing like a tomato but didn't turn around!

Did he really say this in front of everyone. OH MY GOD!!

" Now if you ladies don't mind, I'd like to steal my wife." He said and Shalini ma'am immediately nodded while the employees from the London office gasped at the latest information. I really wanted to laugh at their disappointed faces.

We excused ourselves as he pulled a chair out of me to sit and then he took his seat right beside me.

" I can't believe you just said that in front of people Shivaay!" My blush was nowhere near vanishing as I took a few sips of water in front of me.

" Believe it Mythili. Complimenting my wife shouldn't be as unbelievable as you are making it to be." He teased me further and I hid my face in my palms.

" Care for a dance?" He asked, chuckling slowly and I looked at him as if he had grown horns on his head.

" Shivaay you shouldn't be asking a lady that when she has been standing in heels for the past hour non-stop." I narrowed my eyes at him, earning another laugh.

" No dance then. What are your thoughts about dinner?" Now this was something I wanted to hear.

" My thoughts about dinner? Well, I can kill for food right now but it'd be rude as hosts to start when everyone is still dancing and stuff" I told him.

" I wasn't talking about eating here Mrs. Rathore. I have made my speech, interacted with everyone present and done my job. The rest, my staff can take care of. Let's go now." He said in all seriousness and as tempted as I was, I had to refuse.

" Well technically, I am staff too." I decided to turn cheeky and shrugged my shoulders.

" In this saree, you are not. You are my wife. Now stop arguing against what we both want." He stood up and extended his hand for me to take it.

I looked around first and then taking it, stood up.

" If you say so." I replied and he smiled as we made our way towards the exit.

" By the way, did I tell you that you look really good in this suit? I mean you can almost tell that it is not the one you wear to office regularly." I mocked his habit of wearing suits all the time.

" Well I was hoping you could tell the difference, even if it's in the slightest bit, considering that it is about 80,000 Pounds, give or take." He said in the most sarcastic manner possible and my jaw dropped, right then and there.

" 80,000 Pounds? I think I need to sit down." I stopped walking and he turned his head towards me in amusement.

" Come on now, let's get you some dinner." He laughed, dragging me to the car and we wooshed away, happy!
