Ray's POV.

I woke up, breathing deeply. That dream was so intense. Why? Why would I ever dream something like that. My heart was pounding. My light brown/blond hair felt like a pile of grease on my head. I yawned and looked at my phone. It was 3:46am.! Oh god. A week has passed. And lately I've been losing sleep. (haha get it?) but no, I've been really depressed and sad. Ever since Angelo called me that day, he hasn't called back. Maybe that's why I've been having the strange dreams. But I wouldn't count on it at all. I've been spending a lot of time with Curtis' new friend Kera. She's so awesome and funny. And she's gotten me through my tough breakup with Adam. Yes we both decided (very difficultly) that we should stay friends until he moves closer to me. And trust me, it was very hard. I lost count on how many times I've cried and tried calling him, begging him to get back together. But I would always chicken out. And now Kyle and the guys are gone on tour again. And I don't know when they'll be back. So again, it's just going to be me. And Kera. I laid down and sighed. My parents were home, and they've been concerned about me. I mean, yes I'm not myself. Not without the gang. And Adam. It's the start of summer. Summer break.

'I just wish things weren't so complicated..' I thought as I drifted back into sleep.

"Ray!!!!" someone yelled as they turned on the light of my bedroom.

I groaned. Why would someone wake me? Slowly I opened my eyes. Kyle's smiling face was inches from mine.

"Kyle!" I said weakly.

I covered my face and buried myself in my blankets. I felt his weight get off my bed. Then I heard the door close.

"Kyle what's-" I stopped suddenly as I saw him.

Angelo had his black hair styled to curl in a way. His dark soft eyes stared into my hazel ones. His lips were slightly parted.

"Hi..." I spoke, unable to comprehend what's going on.

"Ray-"

"It's Raven," I corrected.

"Raven. I wanted to say how incredibly sorry I am. I...I was such a jerk. I was stupid. I don't remember much of what I said to you on the last phone call I made, but by judging on your reactions it wasn't good. Raven...I'm still in love with you," Angelo stared at me.

My breath caught. I cringed inside. My heart was beating fast, as my old feelings for him came rushing to the surface. But I am strong. I'm not going to give in. He had to earn it.

"Show me," I whispered.

Angelo took a step forward. I stepped back suddenly.

"Not like that," I told him as I looked at his hurt face.

"You won't regret this. Thanks!" and unexpectedly he came and hugged me.

I stiffened. And I guess he sensed it too, because he let go of me quickly.

"So, could you get out so I could get dressed," I asked.

"Oh right," Angelo got off my bed and left.

I let out a breath. That was insane. And that was only the beginning.

"Kera!" I yelled as I saw her blond hair.

"Ray!" she yelled and came running at me.

We laughed and hugged. I knew that she became my best friend. Her and I haven't seen each other since last week. And that's like a year to us.

"So S.A.T.M.?" Kera said excitedly.

"S.A.T.M.!" I yelled.

"Huh?" Ryan asked.

Oh forgot they were here.

"Shopping at the mall," I explained.

"Ohhhh!" the guys said.

Kera and I rolled our eyes. They don't get it at all. I smiled. Kera smiled. We both looked at each other. Then we looked at the guys. The guys looked at us. They looked at each other. Silence filled the room as we stared at each other.

"Hurro!" someone yelled as I heard the front door slam.

We all looked at the person at the same time. My mouth dropped. I heard Kera gasp. Silence again.

Oh no, this is going to be a long summer...
