Your pov.

I woke up and everybody was downstairs. I took a deep breathe, and let it out.

"Mom. " I said. They all looked at me.

"Yeah? " she asked.

"You know the letter I got yesterday? " I asked.

"Yeah I remember. " she said.

"The letter said I was invited to a masquerade ball. " I said and next thing I know I was tackled down to the ground. Everyone huddled around me.

"Why didn't you tell us?! " she asked.

"Because it's me. Who would want to invite me to a masquerade ball. " I said.

"Oh me and Nika could... " I cut her off.

"Thanks mom I appreciate your help, but I think I can do this. I'll take pictures though. " I said. Nika and my mom pouted. That's when my panna ran in with my phone.

"You've got a call! " she shouted and handed it to me. I answered it.

"Hello? " I asked.

"Oh my gosh y/n did you get an invitation to a masquerade ball?! " my college roommate asked shouting.

"You got one too Tina? " I asked.

"So you did get it!!! We're going to have so much fun!!!! " she shouted and squealed. I removed the phone from my ear and everybody looked confused.

"Why is she shouting? " Valt asked.

"Oh my gosh is that your brother? " she said.

"Hi I'm Valt. " he said. And she squealed.

"Oh my gosh the Valt, Valt Aoi?! " she asked.

"The one and only. " he said proudly.

"It's such an honor! Anyways y/n what are you going to wear? " she asked.

"I still don't know. " I said.

"Oh well I better get ready. The ball is in a couple of hours. " she said and hanged up. I sighed.

"You can wear a dress I have in my room. " my mom said. We all went to her room and looked at it. It looked pretty but just not my style.

"Thanks mom, but do you think I can change it up a bit? " I said.

"Sure. " she replied and I went to my room. "Panna look for these. I'll get started on this. " I said she ran to get the stuff.

Time skips...

Panna came back with the stuff, and she closed my door. I started to design it a bit and it took me a while.

More time skips...

I finished my dress, and it turned out pretty well if I do say so myself. I even finished the mask. I took a quick shower, and got ready. I looked in the mirror and deep down inside I didn't feel right. Panna clapped. (You looked like pic above). I walked out of my room and everybody was in the living room. They looked in awe.

"Sweetie you look so beautiful. " my mom said.

"Man sis we can't believe you did that!" Toko and Nika shouted. I gave them a small smile.

"Thanks. " I said.

"You look great sis. " Valt said and I gave him a small smile as well. Then my mom took a picture.

"Mom. " I said.

"Sorry you just look so beautiful. " she said.

"I better get going. " I said and left.

Time skips...

I got off the taxi and paid. I looked at the place and it was huge. It looked a palace.

"Y/n is that you? " I heard Tina asked. I looked at her and nodded my head. "Wow you look nice. Did you did all this? " she asked and I nodded my head again. "Well let's go in. And let's not say each others names. After all a masquerade ball is suppose to hide out identity. Who knows we might met our prince charming tonight. " she said and we walked in. We opened the door and the inside looked like it was bigger than the outside. We looked in awe. There was so many people. We went in with the crowd.

"Let's go get some punch. " she said and I followed her. We both got a cup can started to drink. We we're talking someone tapped on Tina's shoulder. We both looked back and saw a man.

"May I have this dance? " he asked sticking out his hand. Tina grabbed his hand.

"Of course. I'll be right back. " she said and started to dance with him. I just sighed and looked at my phone to see something that could entertain me. When I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked back and saw a man. He bowed and stuck out his hand.

"May I have this dance? " he asked. I took his hand and he took me to the dance floor. "You look lovely. " he said. I blushed lightly.

"T-thank you. " I said. The music stopped, and everyone clapped. A man walked up to a stage.

"Hello everyone and welcome to the masquerade ball! " he shouted and everyone clapped. "Now we shall choose the masquerade queen and king. " he said. Everyone cheered. Then a spotlight was shinning on me. My eyes widened.

"Congratulations. " the guy I was dancing with said. The an on the stage had a crown in his hands. I walked up to the stage, and went next to the man. I bowed and the put the crown on my head. The spot light was flickering on and off to see who the king was I guess. The spotlight shines on the guy I was dancing with. He came up to the stage, and bowed to the guy holding the crown. He was standing next to me.

"Congratulations. " I said. He looked at me and smiled.

"Thanks. " he said and grabbed my hand. My face heated up. He took me to the dance floor and we danced. The spotlight was on us. We looked each other in the eye. He had a smile on his face. And that smile made me smile. I just really hoped that I don't trip, fall, or the crown falls. The clock started to ring. I looked and saw it was midnight. I hope this isn't going to be like Cinderella!

"Alright everybody it's midnight. So hold your partner close. We will start in a couple of minutes. " the man on the stage said.

"Would you like to be my partner for this too? " he asked. I looked at Tina and she was with her partner. She was nodding and gave me a thumbs up. I looked at my partner.

"I mean we are the king and queen, so I guess. " I said and he chuckled. He stood close to me.

"3...2...1... Now! " the man on the stage shouted. I looked around and the guys left their partners to go somewhere. I looked at my partner and he was gone. Tina came over to me. I guess her partner was gone too.

"What's going on now? " I asked and she shrugged. The guys came back with either two or three gifts. Both of our partners came back with two gifts. My partner gave one to me and I opened it to see a diamond necklace. My partner smiled and took it ready to help me put it on.

"Wow who knew someone could get a diamond necklace, but still look more wonderful than it. " he said. My face up.

"I-I can't take it. " I said.

"Why not? " he asked.

"Because it looks really expensive. And I don't know who you are to pay you back. " I said. He put the necklace back in the box and opened to other to see a beautiful bracelet, with a ring with a small diamond. He put on the bracelet first then put on the ring. That's when he took the chance to put on the diamond necklace.

"No matter how much jewelry you have on you, none could match your beauty. " he said. I felt my face heat up. "I'll take you home. " he said. He grabbed my hand and we left. I stopped and he looked at me. I stepped up to him and took off his mask to see Naoki.

"Naoki. " I said.

"You know me? " he asked. He took off my mask. "Y/n. " he said. "Well at least someone I know is my queen. " he said. My face heated up. We made it to my house. "See ya around. " he said. I ran to him and kissed his cheek. I ran inside the house. And processed everything. I just kissed him!!!! What was I thinking?!!! Everyone ran downstairs and looked at me wide eyed.

"I don't want to talk about it. " I said running to my room. I changed took off the crown along with the jewelry. Naoki is all I thought about and I don't know why. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
