CHAPTER SIX

Hearst stirred to her sleep by the blinding sunlight that touched her smooth delicate milky white skin from the small window pane of the Clark's mansion. Lisa was careful enough to not wake up the bad boy who's still sleeping and is leaning on the kitchen's cabinet with his mouth wide open. The girl find it cute and funny that he looks like a baby when he's asleep. Very different when he's fully awake.

She might have taken her phone out from her jacket and took photos of him sleeping. but of course, that would be just a secret to keep for herself only.

She stood up and was about to leave when she had a glimpse of Jimin's neighbor. The familiar eye candy from her class is out there in their front yard with a dog leash on his hand while petting the cute white toy poodle which is currently eating a treat.

Lisa brushed her hair with her hands as she made her way to the man that made her wait for hours in Jenifer's party but he never came.

"Hey." She greeted and Jonas was surprised to see her at this early.

"Lisa, Good morning." He smiled shyly and stood up to face the girl. He is kinda guilty to turned down the girl's invitation last night, he doesn't hangout with the kind of people she hangout with and is really an awkward on meeting new people unlike his twin sister Alex. Probably why she is popular and he isn't.

"I waited for you." He was ashamed to look into her melted caramel eyes. She is currently leaning on the fence, which is the only thing that is separating them and it might be really stupid to say but Jonas seemed enthralled to see her bare face in the morning.

She wasn't wearing mascara to brighten her eyes but her natural long lashes was enough. She wasn't wearing a lipstick too but her lips is already red tint. And her skin, it's shining.

"Earth to Jonas? Are you still there?" She laughed, and Jonas was snapped back to reality he can't believe he just checked her out. In front of his dog, Sammy. Speaking of the dog, he is still enjoying his morning treat after the long walked they had earlier.

"I'm sorry, it's just that I'm not really into parties and also Suzy came for a horror movie night." Lisa was aware that Suzy holds a special place in the lad's heart but the latter was too naive to even realize that he harbor feelings for his best friend. She knows because she once like him, however that's all in the past now.

"Oh. I see, It's okay!" She flashed a convincing smile and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Then there comes the awkward silence between them.

It's not really a secret that she grows a liking towards the guy since he is partly one of the reasons why she successfully moved on from her ex, Tyler. Sometimes, she feels that Jonas feels the same but then the great best friend will popped out and Jonas won't stop talking about her. It's hard to compete when that someone knew him longer and you are like some kind of summer fling. But no, they were just movie buddies that often meets in the theater last summer.

Sammy, the toy poodle barks at them and that's when Jonas clear his throat and found the courage to look up again to meet her eyes.

"So... you were at Clark's?"

Lisa gave him a smile and wave to the dog that tried to jump on the fence as his tail wiggles at the unfamiliar sight.

"Yeah.. I crashed down to his place last night, I really don't want to wake my folks since i forgot to bring keys."

She glance at him before patting the dog's head which seems to like her. After that he doesn't have anything to ask anymore, and Lisa get that so she put her attention back to him.

"Have you perhaps eaten breakfast?"

Their eyes meet for a few good seconds and there's the feeling again where she find herself melting from the intensity of his gaze, she wonders if Suzy, his best friend feels the same as hers or anyone who will stare at his deep onyx eyes. But maybe, it's just probably her.

Lisa knew him since freshman year, they bumped into the halls, she sees him in the cafeteria, they go to the same class, but they never talked. For him, she's someone who's out of reach and for her, he is someone that will likely to be too good for her.

Nevertheless, thanks for the heaven and fate they crossed paths and everything they thought about each other before went down and buried 60 feet.

"Not yet." He replied. The tone of his voice were deep and velvety, Lisa find it hard not to smile at those two words that came out from his beautiful lips.

Yes, Jonas Jeon is one of the people who carries really good looking genes. Specially now that he doesn't wear his reading glasses. And don't even make her explain about his sharp jaw, he is overall hot like, bad boy hotness! However thanked the God he's not. He's really a good one and is very sweet, a little bit awkward but fine.

"Good. I'm starving, care to join me?" She sounded cool about it but deep inside she is really hoping he will say 'yes'. Jonas look hesitated a bit but when he realized that he already turned down her offer last night, he thinks that it will be too rude to do it again and besides there's something in him that wanted to spend time with her again.

Well, he has been warned by his twin sister Alex, and even with his friends, Hunter, Alaska, Irene, and his best friend, Suzy to stay away from her since according to them, a girl like Lisa Hearst will only break his heart. But he really thinks that hanging out with the 'it girl' is not that harmful. After all, they are just friends.

"Okay, I'll just put Sammy inside the house." He finally agreed and Lisa stop herself from smiling too much so she pursed her lips into a thin line and nodded at him.

"Okay, I'll be waiting here." A pretty smile formed on her lips.

"Okay." He nodded, blinking at the genuine sight.

"Okay." She answered back, trying to look fine.

"Okay." He answered again, still blinking at her (dumbly).

"Jonas, go now." Lisa couldn't handle anymore, she laughed at his silliness and pushed him a little to make him move on his spot.

"Okay.." Jonas repeat the same word again and the girl giggled as she gestured him to go. He almost stumbled at sammy's dog leash. "I'm sorry, It will just be a second."

"I know, I'll be waiting here. You don't need to rushed up."

And with that he nodded before carrying the poodle and run to his house. Lisa burst into a laughing mess.

On the other hand, not too far from where she is. Jimin Clark is there, leaning on their front door with his arms crossed over his chest. Their eyes locked for a few seconds before the guy turned his back and leave, shutting the door close of their house.
