CHAPTER TWELVE

Jimin raised his brow to the man in front of him. He and his friends are hanging at the Milkshake shop since there was nothing to do in this Sunday's afternoon. His cousin August called them all here to eat late lunch with him, he was complaining about the people that keep staring at him in church.

Because when the Pastor preach about our body being holy, August might have said 'God, forsake me.'

which earned him stares, including that one person who he always look forward to see.

But that's not the reason why Jimin is raising his perfect brow, he expected his cousin to do stupid things already but what amused him is the person in front of him who didn't even touch his food.

Nathaniel keep staring at the table not too far from them. His gaze were shooting daggers at someone they likely knew. It was a girl from Jenifer Ruby's Gang. If he got it right, her name is Julia Ross.

The Latina flip her long jet-black hair as her finger played with her locks, twirling it ends. As she savored the cherry flavored lollipop in her mouth. Her eyes has been observing the tall man with a wide shoulders who's complaining at the cashier about the mistaken food that has been served to their table. It pique her interest okay? She has never seen a man look so good in pink.

And so she decided to stood up and approach the man but she wasn't even half way there when a taller man blocked her path. The guy crossed his arms and his menacing glare descended to the fair lady.

Julia look up and meet his gaze, the smile on her lips formed into a playful grin as she stares back to the president of the school's student council. She never met him personally but she had seen him walking in the hallways along with The Royals, and truth on what she heard, because standing beforehand of her is none other than Nathaniel Raeburn, his charisma was embedded on his gorgeous facial features, and when his lips curv up, they will form two deep dimples sitting upon his cheeks.

My, oh my, she didn't know he's a full course meal. Julia Bella is impressed indeed. She didn't even realized she was checking him out in front of the Royals with her arms folded over her chest.

Six pair of eyes were now on them and since Tyler is the only one who is close with The Elites because of his girlfriend, Alex being a part of it? He was in charge to break the strange atmosphere around the two figures.

"Hey Juls! It's nice seeing you here!"
The short girl's attention shifted to him and you can say he is failing miserably on his one job when the Latina just smiled at him before looking back again to Nathaniel.

August slapped his forehead with his hand before he grimaced at the failed man, he couldn't believe he'll have to do this again when he wanted nothing to do with the elites ever since he started avoiding that rich crazy asian girl.

"Nathan, bro. This is Julia—"
August didn't finished on what he's saying when Nathaniel look at him and eyed him to shut up.

"I know who she is."
His voice deep and firm, that made the Latina excites more. She take out the lollipop from her mouth and bit her lower lip, still staring at the handsome annoyed man.

"Oh my, I don't know what to say. Well, I'm flattered."
Her voice sultry, as she even act like she's been honored by holding her chest. Nathaniel brows furrowed deeper, his jaw clenched.

He definitely didn't want to entertain her playful remarks so Nathaniel said the words that keeps bothering him for a whole 15 minutes now.

"I don't like how you look to Stewart."
He step closer, trying to intimidate the  girl. The Royals stared even more at the two of them, secretly wanting a popcorn at the moment with the intensity of the twos exchange of words.

"Oh, silly me. Am I that obvious?"
She giggled, obviously not backing down when she too take a step closer to him.

"Whatever your planning to do—"
He abruptly stopped from talking and held his breath when Julia lean to him, their pointy nose almost touching. Nathaniel unconsciously gulped, she's obviously attractive.
Well of course, she's Julia Bella Ross the infamous playgirl in town, she can easily wrapped you around on her fingers with that goddess like face.

Even gay can be straight for her, and that's what Nathaniel is scared of. What if Stewart fall to her undeniable charms?

If Lisa Hearst is known as the prettiest girl in town, what more with Julia Ross? She's exceptional.

"Oh no, I don't have anything in my mind. Except maybe now..."
It made Nathaniel's brows furrowed even more. He is now sporting a huge frown and not a little bit amused with the girl's personality.

"And boy, you wouldn't want to know."
She chuckled, Nathaniel cursed under his breath, he hated that even her giggles sounded beautiful. What is wrong with this girl?

"Oh my gosh! You're serious? Okay, I'll back off... for now."
She look at him one last time and wink flirtatiously before turning around not forgetting to sway her hips and walk back to their table.

Nathaniel let out the breath he is not aware he's been holding all this time. Damn, that girl. She screamed trouble.

"That was the highest sexual tension I had witnessed in my entire life."
Joy had to break the silence when she loudly slurped her milkshake.

"What the heck, Joy?"
Nathaniel irritatedly look at his friend as he crack his neck to reduce the tension.

"Ooops, sorry! Slip of the tongue!"
Being the joyful joy that she is, she teased her friend even more and Nathaniel just rolled his eyes at her which made their friends laughed at this. They'd never seen Nathaniel that way and witnessing it earlier definitely amused them.

"So, what did I miss?"
Everyone rolled their eyes except for Nathaniel who put his arm around Stewart shoulders, the latter was holding a plate of steak and a bake potato on the other.

"Nothing love."
Nathaniel lean in to give a quick peck on his boyfriend's cheek which earned a few loud grunts from their friends.

Lisa who had this distorted face upon witnessing a public display of affection stood up from her seat when she saw who is coming inside the Milkshake shop. She quickly nudge August as she pointed at someone he just saw this morning.

A playful smile showed on his thin lips as he excused himself with his friends.

"He got it bad huh?"
Soojin smirked when they saw August annoying a beautiful tanned girl with her curly golden locks.

Lisa sipped on her drink one last time as she checked herself on her pocket sized mirror before looking back to their friends.
"Well, if you all excused me. I gotta greet my bunny."
She had that wide grin and Jimin tried to ignore all of them by taking out his phone and pretended to be busy.

"Ohoh, so he's your bunny now? How about your precious calico cat?"
Soojin teased her best friend, she even winked to the happy girl.

Lisa glance at the raven one who's busy looking at his phone, she suddenly reached out to messed his hair.
"He is still my precious calico cat. Right, Clark?"

Jimin caught her wrist and look at the smiling girl, he went back to his cold demeanor when he clicked his tongue.

"I ain't anyone's calico cat."
He let go of her hand and ignored his friends.

"Whatever, bad boy."
Lisa shrugged her shoulders and smiled at all of them one last time before skipping away, following August to the other table.

Four eyes were on the brunette while she's teasing their flustered friend. Even with the flirty remarks of August, it was impressive that the half Mexican girl is successfully ignoring the playboy. Instead her attention is on Lisa and their friend Jonas, still had a question mark in her head why the heck they knew each other?

Not only knew but they were... well sweet to each other.

Alaska glance at her cousin, Suzy who still staring at the two. August still keep talking to her but she held his face and move him away from her. Annoying.

Her best friend Jazz on the other hand shifted its attention from the two to her, "You okay there?" He look at August meaningfully and back to Alaska, the girl nod her head.

"I can handle arrogant jerks."
Jazz Hunter chuckled as he nod his head. Of course.

Back to Lisa and Jonas, the brunette sneakily held Jonas hand under the table. Trying to keep the growing relationship between just the both of them, Lisa keep teasing him but when Jonas suddenly intertwined their fingers together, it made the brunette stop talking for a second before casting her head down to hide her flustered look.

He always do that. Lowkey flirting back to her and oh boy he surely knew how she will became soft after that.

"I hate you."
She mouthed to him, and Jonas just smiled. That smile where his eyes wrinkles and his bunny teeth showing adorably.

That smile that never fails to make her heart skip a beat.

Meanwhile... in front of them is a girl with beautiful wavy hair looking away as she just put her whole focus to the newly arrived food.

Suzy tilt her head, strange.
