Rufus's POV

What just happened now?

First I felt like I was stabbed by a knife. The next thing I know my big little buddy down there is getting restless. Fraser clearly understands the whole situation. I don't want to have an erection while I'm on a mission. 

My wolf was against and wanted to go out. I don't want him to freak out and get rejected on the spot

That's the last thing I wanted to happen. I've been patiently waiting for him. I had been conservative for like 19 years. It's going to be awkward and it will affect the omegas because of my pheromones plus my lust combined. 

I'm still following Fraser from the back. 

It struck me, isn't it Fraser's 16th birthday today.

It means he already shifted. But I can't smell the pack scent from his. I can't tell if there is a wolf within him.

How bout be positive and think that his just a late bloomer or something

Stop getting ahead of yourselves you spoiled wolf. He just looked at me smugly in the back of my mind. I'm just gonna asked him about it and sort things out.

I remembered he put something to mask the scent.

I heard my phone ringing so I picked it up and place it near the bus's steering wheel.

"Hello, who's this? Kindly please call me back because I've got something to do" It was cut by an annoying creature named Vaughn Henris

"I can see you glaring on the phone. Where are you, Rufus? Mom and dad too aren't here especially Mr. Detention" he asked. I rolled my eyes annoyingly. I didn't know why he called all he cared about is rugby.

I answered anyway. I planned of telling them about this. But I guess this isn't just the right choice to make. They would be on our tails and blow up our mission to save those omegas.

"I'm on the way. I don't know where mom and dad are, especially Fraser" I made sure he gets what I mean. Ended the call and dialed Fraser's number to do some changes. I think I just made a bad choice.

"Hi, hot sauce and a brother of my friend! Why did you call? I've got a suggestion, wanna do phone sex." I remained silent for a minute before I heard my brother's annoying voice.

"You little piece of sh!t, I said picked it up not that... argh. I don't wanna hear you too having sex with my phone. You whore!" If Fraser wasn't my brother, I would have ripped his mouth out of his face. Just talking to my mate like that is unacceptable! But my brother was just putting some warnings.

"Can you put Fraser on the phone?" I asked. I'm proud that I didn't squeak just because I was nervous. I heard him groaned. It was only a groaned nothing more but still turns me damn on. Damn it!

"Here, hot sauce wants to talk to you." He said. I can hear him mumbling about me being a killjoy. As much as I want to talk to him but I have no choice.

I heard Fraser trying to hide a chuckle "Yow Rufus, you wanted to talk to me?" he asked in confusion.

"Ah yeah let's change some plans"

"Huh why, is there a problem?" he asked in confusion. "Jino can you take the wheels. We've got a serious problem." Jino agreed. "What's the problem?"

"About that, I think it might be best if I'm the one who goes inside the house. Just tell me where all those scent maskings are."

"Why, are Tegan, Vaughn, and Orson there?" I hummed in response. "Okay then, it's under the bed. We'll just wait here with Jino near the house"

When we got there I take off my shirt where I rubbed the masking scent was and change it into new ones. I take a deep breath before I took a step towards the house. Every step I take is getting heavier. 

The pheromones released were unbearable... for a normal pack mate, I can say they will faint or worst. I'm an alpha so I can withstand just well.

As I entered, right there was an annoyed Vaughn. Beside him were Orson and Tegan glaring at me. I huffed. "I'm just going to get something and I'm off" I announced. I walked upstairs, not wasting time, and got the scented mask I wrapped it in a blanket.

I was about to get out when Tegan step in front of me, trying to intimidate me. If I wasn't in this situation I would make of him. He was a little shorter than me. "Is there something you want to talk to? Can I reschedule it for tomorrow?" I tried joking but I guess I'm the only brother that has humor.

"Tell me where you're going and you are free to go," he asked suspiciously. This is what I'm talking about.

"Uh, I'm planning of you know." Sh!t I'm not good when it comes to this situation. I need an alibi! "Okay fine, I was going to go to a club. Happy?" I almost spilled it. Better call the manager.

"Is there a celebration or is there something your hiding from us? Would you like to share it with us?"

I'm in a hot seat everyone! This should be Fraser's place, not mine. Oh god! I sound like an annoying fat ass Karen, whatever "You sounded like mom." I mumbled while rolling my eyes.

"Let's make it clear because I want to be there in time. There's no celebration happening and no, I'm not hiding anything. Y'all just paranoid, I'm out!" I didn't wait for any response. I exited and went to the bus making sure there's no one following me.

The annoyed face of my brother while fiddling his fingers was the first thing I see. It means his nervousness...a lot.

I can see my mate pacing back and forth. I don't know why but I feel like he's worried about me and it feels warm. It's nice to see someone you love, worried. The way he walks, he looks like one of the male models in a fashion show. 

Damn my perverted side is coming and there is only one suspect. You Scout!

What I'm only flashing something that would certainly happen in the future

You can't escape the future. He will end up sprawled up in the bed and tied while we fvcked him rough and fast. Making sure he will use a wheelchair for a few weeks.

"Did they found out?" Fraser asked when he saw me coming with his worried face. I can still see his hand tremble and continues fiddling as he waited for my reply.

"Nope, but they were suspicious of me" I answered as I change my shirt. I spotted Jino drooling and when he saw me staring back at him. He blushed and looked away as if I didn't saw him. I fumbled a little while I'm putting my shirt on. "Let's go! I made sure that no one followed me here. So we better go" I told them.

I took my phone out of my pocket to call the manager at the club. I told him to give an alibi when his older brothers went there to ask questions. I nodded to them to announce that we were going to do the mission. I got on the bus and turned on the engine. 

I immediately followed Fraser and Jino. I'm still not sure if what he said about the omegas in the warehouse is true. But enough of that, I better focus on the road.

A few minutes later, my brother stopped in a dark corner so I followed suit. Fraser wears a black mask to cover the whole face and handed one to us too. 

"Jino you stay here while we save those omeg- I mean people held hostage." I facepalmed. He could blow our cover especially our pack.

"What's the use of police then?"

I frowned at him, is he stupid "Police shouldn't be involved in our problems. You'll understand soon enough, am I right Rufus?" the two of them looked at me to ask some approval so I just shrugged. "You can be my getaway driver" he nodded.

We walked through a dark place using a flashlight to lead our way and our instincts. My boots sometimes are stuck when I accidentally stepped on some holes. What timing!

There's something in the air and it looks like a... Smokes? There must be someone in here! Atlas I saw the warehouse he was talking, yup it looked abandon but why are Fred and Noll there? 

I'm still am not convinced. He asks if I can take the two of them down without making any sound.

"No biggie! I needed some exercise too." We were already trained to fight in any form. At the age of 10 to learn to protect ourselves if we're under attack by rogues. We still are training and level up to my father.

"Okay, I'm going to where those smokes come from, and when you see them go ahead before anyone can notice" he whispered and walked in the other direction.

I don't want to hurt them until I confirmed some things. I silently sneaked at their back and hit their neck. They lost their consciousness so I hurried and went inside. Now I really believed Fraser!

Fraser's POV

I'm still hesitating. I don't know why I'm doing this in the first place! I'm really am an idiot. There's no time to waste. It's almost morning so I needed some evidence if ever I caught them red-handed. 

I need the Counsel to know about this even if it ruins the pack's reputation. I saw a cabin not far away and outside was... what!

Mother! Father!

So this is why I smelled their scent here. They can't be involved! But I can't just ignore the fact.

I walked slowly and I hid near them so I can hear what they're talking about. I don't recognize the ones with them. They look suspiciously like what you see in movies. Fvck I think somebody saw me, I hope not. I change in a place that I can't be seen and I can only hear them.

"How's the transportation doing?"

"It's all good I already made sure it has the best qualities. The only problem is the one at the house" my father answered. The one in our house, who could that, be? It can't be me of course... it's impossible!

Then it clicked.

That means they already know that I'm the...

Omega! Shit! But how, don't tell me they called a witch and do some witchy things on me.

I wanted to confront them but I was frozen in the spot. Unable to process what's happening! I really am an idiot! I can't process it!

All this time, they spoiled me pieces of stuff I like. Buy me what I wanted. I'm like a pig in a barn. I'm being fed until I grow fat and ready to sell. That's why my other brothers don't like me. What if Rufus was in this too?

I can't doubt my brother now. I can't even tell him about our whole business. It can be a downfall in our pack. There still a chance to change. After saving those omegas like me, I'll come back when it's time. For now, I need to-

"Shhh"

"Who's there?" my mouth was covered by the stranger's hand.

"It's just me, my phone fell out of my pocket. So I'm still finding it" the stranger said while poking his head out to be seen by them. He looks like he's the same age as my brother. I don't seem to know him but both of my parents do. This is getting freaky.

"Need a hand!"

"No need, I found it already" they nodded. I was dragged like I was a sack of rice. Do I look like I'm as light as a feather? 

We have the same height. I'm 5'9 and so does he. This isn't fair. I tried to wiggle out but his grip was just tight enough to hold me down.

We stopped "What are you doing here? Who are you?" he asked but I stayed and silent while finding a way to get out "I'll ask again, who you are?" he repeated but this time he tightened his grip on mine. I feel like I'll spill my guts out.

"My name is Fraser!" I answered in desperation. He was shocked when he let go of me "Jeez do I look like a bug to you" I said while rubbing the spot. I looked at him. I waved at his face. "Hello is there something in my face?"

He shakes his head "N-nothing, let's go before they know you're here" he said and grabbed my hand only to be dragged away again. I really do look like a sack to him.

"Hey who are you too? Your one of them, are you?"

"My name is Reese I'm an undercover to investigate every pack. However, this pack has its dirt just like smuggling omegas like you" he introduced. "Now how come you know your way here?"

"Can we stop first, I'm out of breath" so we did while catching my breath "I followed my mom and dad's scent that's why I ended up here? Is your investigation done?"

"Not yet, I still need to find those omegas. You're coming with me" he said seriously. Great! I don't need to find some not abandon warehouse for us to stay. I was still confused but discarded it.

"They are already in a bus and I think they're only waiting for me?" I said. He was dumbstruck at first but was replaced by amusement. "Do you have a ride and money for the gas?" I asked with hopeful glistening eyes. I can't use my credit card. Actually, I think my wallet has fallen out while were running without me noticing but whatever. Atlas! he nodded after seconds of waiting. I wasn't planning on dying because of starvation.

I was about to ask why "Where is it? I'll answer all your questions when we got out of here" he said while being surrounded by two buff guys. What now? I was planning on having a silent escape but I guess the plan can't go well unless there's a fight happens.

"Do you know how to fight?"
