Chapter Seven: Bag Of Cobras

Nobody's Pov

As everyone settled down the next episode began to play.

The screen turns on and the camera pans inside the compound and we head into the courtyard.

We see a bunch of people walking around with decorations and tables were set up.

The camera pans up to Klaus who's standing on one of the balconies as he stared at everything and everyone.

Everyone blinked, confused as to what was going on.

"Uh...I thought they were going to leave New Orleans. Why are they still there?" Robby asked.

"Yeah and why does it seem like they're planning a party?" Tory asked.

"To put it short they aren't leaving especially with the hollow roaming around doing who knows what. They're staying to figure out as much as they can about the hollow and how to stop it so it doesn't hurt anyone else" Gertrude explained.

Everyone hummed and nodded their heads.

They have to admit that they weren't fond of the Mikaelson's, Hayley and Daniel staying in a dangerous city like New Orleans.

But if staying in New Orleans helps them gather more information about the hollow, and how to stop it, then so be it.

They need to gather as much as they can to get rid of it.

"Wait but that doesn't explain why Klaus is throwing a party?" Miguel asked.

"Yeah and, last I checked, Marcel is the one in charge. No way he would allow any of this" Hawk added.

"You would be correct" Gertrude nodded.

"So where is he?" Demetri asked.

"Klaus locked him up in the dungeon, the same place where Marcel had Klaus locked up in, for revenge and other reasons. Klaus is hosting the party in honor of a truce which, by the way, is fake" Gertrude explained.

Everyone's eyes widened while a few others blinked in surprise.

"Well, alright then" Demetri coughed awkwardly.

He wasn't expecting that.

None of them were.

Amanda scowled and felt anger build up inside of her.

She couldn't believe that Klaus would lock up Marcel.

She understands that Marcel did the same to Klaus and kept him locked up for five years but him doing the same to him doesn't make him any better.

She already knows that once Marcel gets out he's going to want revenge.

And that's going to be on Klaus.

Silver, on the other hand, couldn't help but grin at hearing what Klaus did to Marcel.

Especially when he did the same to his dear friend Kreese.

And he sure as hell doesn't regret it.

Hayley and Daniel walked into the courtyard and looked around in confusion.

"We were heading out, and now we're throwing a party? I see" Hayley hummed.

"One that will be attended by New Orleans most influential creatures" Klaus smiled.

"I know spending five years in isolation may have burned out your brain cells but you're smart enough to know that everyone hates you. Right?" Daniel asked.

Hayley snorted in amusement while Klaus raised an eyebrow at Daniel.

Laughter filled the theater room at the remark Daniel made.

They never thought that Daniel would say something full of sarcasm and confidence.

Especially when he said it to someone like Klaus Mikaelson.

"Damn, Larusso" Johnny chuckled while shaking his head.

He was used to Amanda being the one with sarcastic and confident responses.

But hearing it come from Larusso, of all people, was just as amazing as it was amusing.

"Yes, love. I'm aware, thank you" Klaus sarcastically smiled.

"Just checking" Daniel shot back with a sarcastic smile of his own.

"But everyone loves Marcel. And as the invite states, he is the co-host. Tonight we celebrate our truce" Klaus said.

"So you're throwing a fake party, in honor of a fake truce, and your guest of honor is in a dungeon?" Hayley asked.

Klaus walked down the stairs and walked over to the best friend duo.

"Marcel's attendance would only complicate matters, besides I'll have my hands full weeding out those in league with the hollow" Klaus explained.

"Have fun with that" Hayley and Daniel said in unison.

"Oh great" Mike groaned.

He had a feeling that saying the same thing at the same time was going to a regular thing for Hayley and Daniel.

It's going to be weird as it'll be annoying.

"Hope's with Mary, I'm just looking for Freya" Hayley said.

Klaus stopped what he was doing and turned to Hayley with a raised eyebrow.

"What do you need of her?" Klaus asked.

"Just a favor" Hayley shrugged.

"What favor does Hayley-san want from him?" Chozen asked in curiosity.

"Hayley wants to find out more about her parents, especially how they died since the hollow is involved in their deaths, and she wants Freya to help her. Plus, she wants to see if she'll find more information about the hollow" Gertrude explained.

Chozen hummed in understanding and nodded his head.

He could understand Hayley's desires to find out more about her parents.

Especially when she never got the chance to know them or be raised by them since they were killed when she was a baby.

Anyone in her position would've done the same.

The scene changes and we're still in the courtyard and we see people walking around decorating for the party.

Klaus looks to be chiseling an ice sculpture with Daniel standing next to him.

"Gotta admit, you really outdid yourself with this party" Daniel complimented.

"Thank you, love. I aim to please after all" Klaus grinned.

Daniel smiled although he couldn't stop himself from blushing.

Amanda raised an eyebrow at not only the nickname the hybrid has given her husband but seeing Daniel blushing because of it.

She had to admit she didn't like hearing Klaus call Daniel love but she brushed it off.

Maybe he was just trying to tease him or irritate him with the nickname.

Maybe her husband was internally annoyed with it but didn't want to be rude.

It was probably nothing.

Carmen, on the other hand, had a knowing look plastered on her face.

Footsteps are heard and the two men turn around to see Elijah walking towards them.

"I agree with Daniel. You've really outdone yourself" Elijah nodded.

"I'm inclined to agree. It's such a shame these lovely linens will soon be red with blood" Klaus grinned.

"Klaus" Daniel sighed in exasperation.

"Violence must only be seen as a last resort, it will only weaken our position" Elijah reminded his brother.

"Yes, well, I'm a creature of very specific habits" Klaus shrugged.

"Good to know that this guy has an answer for everything. Killing" Johnny deadpanned.

He seriously doesn't understand why this Klaus guy wanted to solve his problems by killing people.

Why did he think that spilling blood of other people was going to solve everything?

He's honestly appalled by this.

But he's even more appalled at the fact that Larusso, of all people, is hanging around him.

It's not like him and he wonders what happened to him for him to be near people like Klaus and the rest of his siblings.

Klaus points the chisel at Elijah but Elijah removes it from Klaus's hand and starts walking away.

"Brother, please, remember that the point of tonight is to create a false sense of security. A little music, a little champagne, some stealthy reconnaissance..." Elijah trailed off.

"No bloodshed" Daniel finished.

Elijah nodded towards Daniel before turning to Klaus and asked, "do we understand each other?".

Elijah walked over to the bar and grabs a bottle of champagne from a worker as Klaus and Daniel join him.

"They threatened me. They threatened my child. Bloodshed is inevitable" Klaus reminded his brother.

"I get that but killing people isn't always the answer. It shouldn't be the answer at all" Amanda sighed.

She gets that the man wants to protect his daughter, any father would, but killing people isn't the way to do it.

Hell, killing is wrong no matter what.

She would rather him be a civil person, like Elijah, and avoid bloodshed.

Not to mention form an alliance with some of the other supernatural beings in New Orleans.

That way he can show everyone that he's not always going to resort to violence.

"And how do we protect Hope from all of this?" Daniel asked.

Klaus looked at him with a frown and opened his mouth to say something but Elijah beats him to it.

"She worships you, Niklaus. And she must not see the monster" Elijah told him.

Klaus placed his arms on the table and rests his nose against his hands, as though he's praying, and lets out a sigh.

"I do not wish for her to see me as a monster, but I cannot sit idly by while threats to our family go unanswered" Klaus said.

"They won't" Daniel shook his head.

He stood next to Klaus and placed his hand on his shoulder causing Klaus to look at him.

"You, Hayley and the rest of your family won't let anything or anyone hurt Hope. More importantly, I won't let anything happen to Hope. I might not be a powerful hybrid like you or Hayley. I might not be a vampire, let alone an original, and I might not be a witch but I'm not weak. I can protect myself. But, more importantly, I protect those that I love. That includes Hope. She's my niece and I love her just as much as you do. I promise you that as long as I'm able to fight, I won't let anything happen to her" Daniel softly said.

Everyone's eyes soften at hearing Daniel's words and knowing how much he cared for Hope.

It's clear how much he loved that little girl and would do anything to protect her.

"Dad must really care about Hope, huh?" Anthony asked, looking at his sister.

"Yeah he does" Sam nodded with a small smile.

Although she was still a little jealous she had to admit that the relationship between her dad and that little girl was cute.

Especially when she knew how much her dad adored kids.

And she was happy that her dad loved Hope and was going to do everything he can to protect her.

The same way she knew that he would do anything to protect her and her brother.

Amanda, having heard her kids, let a small smile appear on her face.

Even if she still doesn't really like the fact that her husband is caring for a child that isn't his she had to admit the relationship he formed with Hope is cute.

And she knew that when he said he would protect Hope no matter what she knew he meant it.

After all, Daniel kept his promises.

Something she, sadly, hadn't after she had left.

Silver, on the other hand, let out a hum while raising an eyebrow at the screen.

Danny boy really cared about that little girl even if she wasn't related to him by blood.

If Danny boy ever came back to Los Angeles, which he doubts, and he tries to take him down he knows what he can use against him.

Or rather, who he can use against him.

Klaus's eyes soften at Daniel's words especially when he hears the sincerity in them.

Klaus gently placed his hand on top of Daniel's that was still resting on his shoulder.

"Thank you, love" Klaus said with a small smile.

"Of course" Daniel nodded, a smile plastered on his face.

Elijah glanced between the two of them with a raised eyebrow, a knowing glint in his eyes.

"Looks like he sees it too" Carmen whispered.

She's glad to know that Elijah also sees the interactions between Klaus and Daniel and knows that it's more than just friendship.

She's glad she's not the only one that sees it.

Considering everyone else in the theater is still oblivious.

Especially Amanda.

Which she's not sure if that should be a good or bad thing.

Elijah cleared his throat causing the two other men to glance at him before Daniel quickly pulled his hand away from Klaus's shoulder.

Elijah looked at his brother and placed a gentle hand on his arm.

"Please. And should any turmoil arise, should anyone dare to disrupt our kingdom, let them answer to me" Elijah said.

Klaus looked at him and, without saying anything, nodded his head.

Everyone sighed in relief at seeing Klaus nod his head, agreeing to let Elijah handle any problems during the party.

As long as no blood was spilled and everyone remained civil things should be fine in the end.

The scene changes and we're back at the courtyard but this time it's decorated and filled with people. There are balloons colored in the theme of Mardi Gras, musicians playing jazz and many people talking to one another while drinking champagne.

The camera pans over to Elijah who is greeting all of the guests who arrive and showing them around.

The camera pans over to the stairway where we see Daniel standing at the top while looking over at everyone.

He's wearing a black suit and black shoes and his hair was neatly done.

Everyone's eyes widened at the party, the decorations looked so cool and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves.

"Wow" Bert breathed out.

"That looks like fun" Nate smiled.

"Oh, we're definitely throwing a party when we get out of here" Kyler told his teammates.

The need to throw a party and just let loose and have fun grew inside of him by seconds.

It's been a while since he went to a party due or threw a party.

The last party he had thrown was when Tory had won the all valley that let Cobra Kai stay in business.

He and his teammates haven't been able to throw, or go, to another party in a while since Silver and their other sensei's were making them train every single day.

It would be nice to take a break from everything and a party seems like a good idea.

Amanda, on the other hand, felt herself blush at seeing her husband dressed in that suit.

Daniel looked handsome, as always, and the way his hair was styled definitely went with his outfit.

Oh how she wished she was there to enjoy the party and just be with her husband

Footsteps are heard and Daniel turned around to see Klaus, who's holding two glasses of champagne, walking towards him.

"I have to say, love. You look great in that suit" Klaus complimented.

"Thank you. I can say the same for you, Mr. Hybrid" Daniel complimented back.

Klaus chuckled at the nickname before handing Daniel a glass of champagne which Daniel took.

"Giving nicknames I see" Carmen muttered, her lips twitching upwards a little.

That, along with how the two men have interacted with each other so far, should show everyone that what they have is more then friendship.

If it doesn't well...

She doesn't want to be rude but they're all idiots.

Elijah made his way towards his brother and Daniel and nodded at them before facing the guests.

"My dear friends" Elijah loudly announced.

This made everyone quiet down as their eyes landed on Elijah.

"My dear friends, tonight we celebrate an alliance between our family and Marcel Gerard. Unfortunately, as is his custom, Marcel is unfashionably late. So until such a time as he graces us with his presence, let us all raise a glass and salute the glorious city of New Orleans" Elijah smiled.

Elijah starts to raise his glass but Klaus steps in and stops him.

"But before we do, my brother and I wish to acknowledge a painful truth. Our relationship with this city, and indeed with most of you, has been long and complicated. We hope you will be put at ease knowing that we intend but a brief and peaceful stay. Let this evening be a rest bit from past grievances and an opportunity to form new friendships. Cheers" Klaus smiled.

Everyone raises their glasses and toast. It's not long before music starts to play again.

Hawk wrapped his arms around his best friends shoulder and leaned in closer to them.

"How much you guys want to bet that the peace won't stay for long and something is bound to ruin the party?" Hawk asked.

Miguel and Demetri looked at each other, silently conversing with each other with their eyes, before looking back at Hawk.

"I say $20" Miguel said.

"Me too" Demetri nodded.

Hawk grinned at his two best friends and nodded his head.

Some time has passed and the party is still going on and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves.

The camera pans over to the balconies and we see Elijah, Klaus and Daniel standing together.

"You seem confident" Elijah told his brother.

"Well, Vincent is an expert, powerful witch, motivated to expose evil and protect his flock. Besides, he knows if this doesn't work, we'll be forced to kill everyone here" Klaus said.

This made Elijah and Daniel glance at each other before looking at Klaus.

"Him. Bloke by the stairs" Klaus said, his eyes fixated on someone.

Elijah and Daniel turn around to see a man, who has a few men surrounding him, by the stairs as he looked around the room.

Tory frowned a little and couldn't help but shift in her seat.

She doesn't know why but she had a bad feeling about that guy.

She's not sure what it is about him but he just gives off some bad vibes that she's definitely going to keep an eye out for.

She wasn't the only one that felt that way.

Silver narrowed his eyes at the man the hybrid was looking at and couldn't help but feel there was something about him.

He wonders if that man, whatever his name is, is somehow connected to the hollow.

Klaus goes to leave only for Daniel to grab his arm, stopping him.

"Klaus, remember the deal you and Elijah made" Daniel reminded him.

Elijah nodded which made Klaus groan as he turned back around.

"Well, you want first crack at our foe, be my guest" Klaus shrugged.

His eyes wandered around before landing on Sofya who happened to be a friend of Marcel's.

"I spy a lady in need of accompaniment" Klaus grinned.

He looked at Daniel and gently pushed his hand off of his arm and after giving him a nod he turned around and left.

Daniel let out a sigh as he leaned over the railing a little.

"I take it you're not having fun" Elijah said as he looked at his friend.

"The party was fun for the first few hours but it's getting a little boring. I wish Hayley was here. She always knows how to spice things up" Daniel said.

"Care to tell me what you mean by that?" Elijah asked, curious.

"A month after living with Hayley and Hope at the safe house Hayley decided we should go out and have fun. We went to a bar and I have to admit I was having fun for the first few hours but things were getting boring. Until Hayley decided to spice things up by having us drink eleven shots and because of how drunk we were we had the confidence to get on top of the bar and start dancing like crazy" Daniel explained.

Everyone's eyes widened at what they heard with a few jaws dropping.

Hell, even Silver was a little shocked himself by what he heard from Danny boy.

"No way, Larusso and his hybrid friend really did that" Johnny chuckled.

He would've paid some good money to be there to see that.

He was really starting to like this Larusso more.

Amanda, on the other hand, couldn't help but frown.

Daniel has never drank in his life and if he does he only drinks for two rounds before stopping so he doesn't go overboard.

Daniel always told her that alcohol isn't his thing and he tries not to take advantage of it.

Hearing that Hayley not only took her husband to the club but also got him drunk didn't sit well with her.

Not only did he start dancing with her like a maniac, even if she wasn't there to witness it, but he drank eleven shots and got extremely drunk.

No doubt he had a terrible hangover the next day.

And Hayley let him.

Her doubts on the friendship her husband has formed with that woman have resurfaced.

Sam and Anthony looked at each other before they laughed.

If they were being honest, they were glad that their dad had not only gone out to have fun but truly enjoyed himself.

All thanks to Hayley.

They have to remind themselves to hug that woman and thank her for everything she has done for their dad.

If they ever met her, that is.

Elijah's eyes widened at that.

"Seriously?" Elijah asked.

"I'm serious. Everyone was cheering us on and we had some admirers. But we left early because Hayley got into a fight with this woman and I tried breaking it up but that didn't help and the three of us got kicked out. But we ended the night by going to McDonalds" Daniel smiled.

Daniel had to admit, that was the most fun he had in a while.

He was honestly happy to have someone like Hayley in his life and as his best friend.

She helped him in so many ways and one of them was helping him have fun.

"Really? Because it seems to me like she might be a bad influence on you" Amanda muttered.

She honestly tried to understand this friendship her husband has formed with the woman, she really did.

But now she doesn't want to understand it.

Now she just wants that woman to stay away from her husband.

If Daniel ever came back, which she hopes he does, she's going to make it clear that she doesn't want him hanging out with Hayley anymore.

It's for the best.

The last thing she wants is her husband and that woman having a repeat of a bar incident.

One that could potentially get him arrested.

Sam, having heard her mother's comment towards Hayley, scowled while glaring at her.

What the hell was her moms problem?

Why does her mom hate Hayley?

As far as she's concerned Hayley is an amazing and kind woman that has done everything for her dad.

Not to mention she's a badass.

Honestly, Sam had no problem with Hayley or the fact that her and her dad were best friends.

She knew Anthony felt the same way.

And she wasn't going to let her mom, of all people, ruin that friendship.

Elijah couldn't help but laugh while shaking his head in amusement.

"You and Hayley never fail to amaze me" Elijah told him.

"I know" Daniel grinned.

Elijah laughed again and patted Daniel on the shoulder before he turned around and left.

Daniel let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair, before he turned around and left too.

The scene changes to a warehouse where we see two men talking to each other before the camera pans over to the other side of the warehouse.

"Gentlemen".

The two men turn around and see Klaus, Daniel and Vincent walking together.

"Sofya says you've come to kill me" Klaus said.

The two men looked at each other and nodded before sprinting towards the men, their focus on Klaus.

Daniel quickly takes out two daggers and threw it at the them. Their legs were sliced and the men yell in pain as they fall to the ground.

Cheers were heard in the theater with grins appearing on a few peoples faces.

"Go dad!" Sam and Anthony yelled.

Their dad was amazing, that much they knew, but seeing him use those daggers made him even more amazing.

"It's a good thing one isn't judged by the competence of one's enemies. I'd be rather insulted" Klaus said.

Vincent used his magic to lift the two men off the ground and pinned them to a wall.

As they neared Daniel bent down to pick up his daggers and put them away.

"Nice aim, love" Klaus complimented.

"Thank you" Daniel smiled.

Johnny leaned closer to his girlfriend causing Carmen to look at him.

"Is it weird that I want him to teach me how to work those daggers?" Johnny asked.

The way Larusso was able to use those daggers so easily intrigued him and made him want to learn.

It looked hard, that's for sure, but with some training maybe he could be on the same level as Larusso.

Carmen sighed and patted her boyfriend on the cheek.

"Just don't do it inside of the house, especially near the kids, and don't hurt yourself" Carmen told him.

Johnny grinned at his girlfriend and kissed her temple.

Klaus turned to the two men and took out the stakes they had in their pockets before stepping back.

Vincent stepped forward as he looked at the two men.

"I was you, once. Thought the Hollow was gonna give me all sorts of power. And it ended up taking away everything that I've ever loved. It took away my family, took away my wife. It left me with absolutely nothing" Vincent explained.

Daniel frowned at that, looking at Vincent with sympathy.

"Is that true?" Devon asked.

"Yes" Gertrude nodded.

Devon frowned sadly at that as did many others while a few remained neutral.

Johnny, on the other hand, looked down at his lap as he felt guilt build up inside of him.

Karate is the reason things have gone down hill for him and everyone else involved.

Especially because of two things.

One, Cobra Kai.

Two, Terry Silver.

That ponytail bastard is reason that Cobra Kai is still in business and has taken over the valley.

Not only that but he's the reason that Larusso, his former enemy, someone he now considers a friend, someone he does care about even if he doesn't want to say it out loud, disappeared and hasn't come back.

He's the reason Sam and Anthony don't have their dad and the reason Amanda doesn't have her husband.

Their lives wouldn't be such a mess if Cobra Kai, Kreese and Silver had never returned.

And it's his fault.

And he's not sure what he can do to make things right.

"Now, I hate vampires. I hate Klaus Mikaelson more than any of them. And I'm willing to stand beside him against that thing that you call your master. Now, that right there should show you just how bad your master actually is" Vincent added.

Vincent released the men and they fell to the ground.

"I'm gonna take that as a compliment" Klaus grinned at the male witch.

He hands him the stakes and turned to the two men and walked closer to them.

"Gentlemen, I ought to flay the skin from your bones" Klaus said.

He speed towards them and pinned them to the wall and wrapped his hands around their necks making them gasp for air.

"Klaus!" Daniel yelled, stepping forward.

Everyone's eyes widened at seeing the hybrid choke those two men.

They wondered if Klaus wasn't going to keep his word and actually kill them.

Was he actually going to have blood on his hands even after promising he wouldn't?

Klaus spared Daniel a glance before looking back at the men. He let out a sigh before releasing them.

The two men gasp for air while Daniel sighed in relief.

"But these are uncommon times, are they not?" Klaus asked, looking at Vincent.

"Indeed" Vincent nodded.

Klaus nodded and looked back at the two men.

"And they call for uncommon mercies. You and your brethren have a choice" Klaus said.

"Forsake the Hollow or die by its side" Daniel added, looking at the two men.

"Either way is fine with me" Klaus shrugged, wrapping an arm around Daniel's shoulders.

Daniel blushed at Klaus's arm being around his shoulder but didn't complain nor did he move away.

Instead, he found himself leaning closer to the hybrid's side which made Klaus glance at him with a small smile.

Everyone sighed in relief at seeing Klaus show mercy to those two men.

Yes, they were followers of the hollow, but if they were smart enough to know that the hollow is nothing but evil then they will no longer stand by its side.

And they honestly hoped that they choose the right side.

Silver couldn't help but clench his jaw at seeing the hybrid, of all people, show mercy to his enemies.

If there's one thing he learned from his time in the war, and from being in Cobra Kai, is to never show mercy.

It's always been his motto, especially now that he's in charge of Cobra Kai.

And it'll never change. Ever.

He really would've preferred if Klaus had just killed those men.

Carmen, on the other hand, wasn't really paying attention to the fact that Klaus had showed mercy.

She was focused on the small interaction between Klaus and Daniel.

A knowing look was plastered on her face with her lips twitching upwards a little.

The scene changes back to the courtyard and we see that the party is still going on.

"Ladies and gentlemen" a familiar voice announced.

The music stopped playing and everyone stopped dancing or whatever they were doing.

Everyone turned around to see Elijah who is gripping Dominic, who has blood dripping from the side of his head, by the neck.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have here an errand boy of the Hollow" Elijah said.

He forced Dominic to bend over and pinned his head on the railing causing Dominic to groan in pain.

"A disciple of the very darkness that threatens to devour our city, your loved ones and mine" Elijah told everyone.

He forced Dominic to stand before gripping his neck as he dangled him over the railing.

Everyone's eyes widened with a few gasps escaping the lips of people.

Everyone in the theater had the same reaction as the people onscreen.

"What is Elijah-san doing?!" Chozen yelled, his eyes wide.

"Agreed! What happened to no bloodshed?!" Amanda shrieked.

She expected Klaus to be the one to start bloodshed not Elijah.

What happened to him wanting to maintain the peace?

"Now, whether or not you despise us, my family will do everything in its power to remove this scourge from New Orleans. I recommend you do the same..." Elijah trailed off.

The camera pans to Vincent, Klaus and Daniel as the three of them walk inside the courtyard.

They are confused as to what's going on but when they look to where everyone else is looking their eyes widened as well.

"Or else" Elijah finished.

He plunged his hand into Dominic's chest and removed his heart from his body.

Everyone gasped, some screaming, while Klaus closed his eyes in annoyance.

Everyone screamed in horror and their faces turned green at seeing Elijah holding a real life heart in his hand.

Gertrude grumbled before snapping her fingers and paper bags appeared in front of everyone.

It wasn't long before everyone, including Silver and Kim Da-Eun, grabbed the bags and threw up.

"Humans are really so sensitive to this stuff" Gertrude muttered.

Makes he wonder how someone like Daniel Larusso is able to handle this better than the others.

Elijah let go of Dominic and let his body fall to the ground of the courtyard.

Everyone screamed while others looked away in horror and disgust.

Daniel groaned as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Well, that's one way to kill a party" Daniel muttered.

"No shit" Vincent muttered back.

Amanda, after emptying out her contents into the paper bag, picked her head up and glare at the screen.

"Is that seriously all he can say?" Amanda asked, clenching her jaw.

A man literally just died by Elijah's hands and that's all her husband can say.

Oh she was definitely making sure he not only stopped hanging around Hayley but the Mikaelson's.

Especially if all those people were good at was starting bloodshed.

The scene changes and we're back in the courtyard only this time the guests are gone while some of the decorations have been taken down.

The only ones in the courtyard are Klaus, Elijah and Daniel.

Klaus is crouched down while staring at Dominic's blood with Daniel standing behind him while Elijah is pacing back and forth.

"Did you retrieve all of the weapons?" Elijah asked his brother.

"Well, I don't know. Let's confirm with Dominic, shall we?" Klaus asked.

"Oh, sorry, we can't. His corpse is currently burning in a dumpster" Daniel sarcastically added.

Elijah rolled his eyes as he turned to face the two men with a look of exasperation.

"You've been hanging around my brother a little too much, Daniel" Elijah grumbled.

"I wonder why" Carmen muttered, a faint grin appearing on her face.

Rosa looked at her daughter curiously before looking back at the screen.

Daniel rolled his eyes while Klaus stood up.

"I try to avoid bloodshed, you become the town executioner" Klaus told his brother.

"Let me handle this" Elijah sternly said.

"And why exactly should I do that?" Klaus asked.

"Hope" Elijah told him.

"You see, it's precisely because of her that I have to assert my involvement" Klaus said.

"Me too considering that little girl is my niece, blood or not, and her wellbeing is all that matters to me. So, my dear friend, tell us what you know" Daniel added.

"This thing wants to be reborn. This morning, Vincent said that whenever it resurfaces, it does so in four distinct locations. I can't tell why" Elijah said.

"Wait, is that really possible?" Tory asked, her eyes wide in shock.

"After everything you've seen and learned, anything is possible" Gertrude told her.

Tory glanced at her without saying anything because she knew that she was right.

She just couldn't believe that something as rebirth could also be true, let alone possible, like everything else.

She, along with everyone else, was really getting to know everything and she didn't know how to feel.

Silver hummed in fascination and kept his eyes on the screen, wanting to know more.

"It's looking for something" Hayley said.

The three men turned around to see Hayley, who was holding something in her hand, walking towards them.

"Four things, by the sound of it. And I'm pretty sure that I have one of them" Hayley told them.

She held up what she was holding which happened to be a bone.

"My parents were killed protecting this from one of the Hollow's followers" Hayley revealed.

"We've seen this time and time again. When a witch wishes to be reborn, its remains are required to complete the spell. You've just found a piece of our enemy" Klaus told her.

"Well then that's good, right?" Hawk asked.

"Yes and no" Miguel said.

"What do you mean?" Robby asked, curious.

"It means that while one piece has been found there are three more. Either someone has them or they still have to be found" Demetri explained.

He wondered who could possibly have the other three pieces.

And he hoped, nearly prayed, that the hollow or its followers have them.

"Lucky me. Who has the other three?" Hayley asked.

"Dominic" Elijah revealed.

This made everyone snap their heads in his direction.

"Dominic said that he had found something here" Elijah told them.

"What?" Hayley asked, furrowing her eyebrows together.

"There's just, like, a bag of bones laying around that none us knew about?" Daniel asked.

"No. But there is one" Klaus said.

He turned around and walked away causing the other three to look at each other before following after him.

Everyone glanced at each other, their bodies tensing up, before turning back to the screen.

They enter the study and Klaus made his way over to the wall safe and put in the combination.

He opened the safe only for his eyes to widen when he saw that there was nothing inside.

"Dominic's death was a distraction" Klaus said, turning to the others.

"They used our own deception against us" Elijah said.

"This thing has followers everywhere. They've infiltrated the entire city" Hayley added.

"If they get to the other bones before we do..." Daniel trailed off.

"Then they may well try to raise this monstrosity. And it will come for us all" Klaus finished.

As the screen turned black, indicating that the episode was over, everyone looked at each other.

Nothing but fear and concern shown in their eyes.

It's bad enough that Daniel is involved in the supernatural in the first place but now he's involved in the danger that is the hollow.

The only good thing is that they have a one of the bones thanks to Hayley.

But they need to find the other bones and they need to find them fast.

Because if the hollow or any of its followers find them first...

There's no telling what's going to happen.

And that scared them.
