"We're about forty minutes out from the base, Sir," A pilot replied.

Maddy sat down in a chair.... she was completely nervous, last time she was in a plane.... it crashed... and her and Steve froze for 70 years.

The Agent that came and picked them up, was sitting down beside her.... he stood up and walked over to Steve, who was currently looking at videos of other people... that SHEILD had selected.

"So, this Doctor Banner was trying to replicate the serum that was used on us?" Maddy asked.

"A lot of people were.... you both were the first world's superhero's, Banner thought gamma radiation might hold the key to unlocking Erskine's original formula," The Agent replied.

"I do say this Agent.... technically I was the first super soldier, but yes... Steve and I were the first superheroes, I guess," Maddy frowned.

"I'm guessing it didn't really go his way, did it?" Steve said... both men completely ignoring Maddy.

"Unbelievable," Maddy mumbled.

"Not so much.... when he's not the thing, he's more of a Steven Hawking kinda guy," The Agent stated.

Maddy and Steve both made a very confused look.

"Oh right! He's like a smart person. I gotta say it's an honor to meet you, officially," The Agent smiled, staring up at Steve.

Steve smiled.... he quickly turned towards Maddy who was rolling her eyes, she was completely jealous.

"I sort of met you, I mean.... I watched you both while you guys were sleeping," The Agent blushed... turning to gaze at Maddy.

Maddy stood up.... and walked over to Steve, who had his head dropped.

"I mean, I was..... I was present while you both were unconscious from the ice, I thought it was amazing how you both were holding each other close. You know, it's really, it's just a.... just a huge honor to have you both on board," The Agent smiled.

"I-I'm sorry.... I never caught your name, I must have zoned out when you said it or something?" Maddy replied.

"Ah yes! I think you were reading a book... but my name is Phil Coulson, Agent Coulson," Coulson smiled.

"Do you think we are the right fit, for this job?" Maddy asked.

"Oh, you are! Absolutely! Uh.... we've made some modifications to both of y'all's uniforms, I had a little design input," Coulson smirked.

"Uniforms? Aren't the Star's and stripes a little.... I don't know old fashioned?" Steve questioned.

"A new upgrade?! Do I get a shield?!" Maddy asked.

"Yes, to the new upgrade.... No, to the shield," Coulson said.

Maddy frowned.

"With everything that's happening, the things that are about to come to light, people might just need a little old fashioned," Coulson replied.... looking over at Steve.

Maddy looked over at Steve.... who was staring down at Coulson, she could tell that what Coulson had said.... gave Steve sudden ease.
