A few days had gone by since Maddy gave birth....she sat on the couch and in her lap sat the box Steve gifted her. On the other side of the room.... in a rocking chair sat Bucky, who was holding Sarah.

Steve sat on the floor and played with James.... every once in a while he would look up at Maddy.

"It's not gonna bite," Steve smirked.

"I know! But I just wanna know what it is," Maddy said.

"Open it and you'll find out," Steve replied.

Maddy opened the box.... her eyes lit up.

Folded nicely in the box.... rested a Red, White and Blue suit. Completely different from the rest.

"Steve? What is this?" Maddy asked.

"I figured Captain America needed a new suit!" Steve smiled.

"It's amazing! Thank you," Maddy smiled.

"You deserve it," Steve said.

Maddy pulled out the suit and stood up, holding it to her chest.

"Why don't you go try it on," Bucky smiled.

Maddy nodded and raced to the bathroom, quickly putting on the suit. She walked out.... Bucky gazed at her.

"Wow! You look amazing," Bucky said.

"Steve? How does it look?" Maddy asked.

"Great! How does it feel?" Steve questioned.

"Like it was made for me," Maddy smiled.

"That's because it was! I has Tony make it... he said for you to wear Miss America's boots and then you'll be good to go," Steve replied.

"Are you sure about this? You should come back and be Captain America," Maddy sighed.

Steve stood up and motioned for Maddy to follow him outside.

They sat on the steps of the porch....

"Maddy, you were born to be Captain America," Steve smiled.

"Whoa! What happened to my brother?" Maddy asked.

"Your brother fell in love," Steve sighed.

"So did I! But you don't see me stepping down," Maddy said.

"I know... but after fighting along with you since the beginning, i realized you should've been given the title, not me," Steve replied.

Maddy looked at Steve...

"I believe you can make this world a people place! I believe you are the hope this world needs," Steve smiled.

"How long have you been writing that?"  Maddy asked.

"For a whole actually, you like it?" Steve questioned.

"I do," Maddy smiled.

Steve quickly pulled Maddy in for a hug... and kissed the top of her head.

"I'm proud of you, kiddo," Steve mumbled.

Suddenly Bucky comes rushing out into the porch....

"Sam called! He needs us," Bucky sighed.

Maddy looked over at Steve and smiled.

"Mind babysitting?" Maddy asked.

"Absolutely!" Steve smirked.
