Maddy sadly walked behind Sam and Bucky.....she was disappointed in herself and knew if Steve found out what happened to the shield he'd be disappointed as well.

"Maddy? You okay?" Sam asked, throwing his head over his shoulder.

"We need to take back the shield," Maddy sighed.

"We can't just run up on the man, beat him up and take it," Sam said.

"Yeah! Don't you remember what happened the last time we stole it?" Bucky asked.

"Maybe," Maddy replied.

"I'll help you incase you forgot. Sharon was branded an enemy of the state, and Steve and I were on the run for two years.....while you and Bucky were in Wakanda," Sam frowned.

"I totally forgot about Sharon....until you mentioned her," Maddy groaned.

"I don't know about you guys, but I don't wanna live the rest of my life la vida loca," Sam said.

"We just got our assed handed to us by Super Soldiers...by that I mean you guys, besides we got nothing," Maddy replied.

"Not entirely true. There is someone that you both should meet," Bucky sighed.

Maddy rubbed her stomach and groaned....quickly getting sick.

"Maddy? Honey, are you okay?" Bucky asked.

"I-I uh need to go," Maddy said, quickly walking away.

Maddy sat on the curb....eating a juicy cheeseburger.

Suddenly her phone started to ring, she pulled it out of her pocket and saw that it was Sam.

"Sam? What's wrong?" Maddy asked.

"Uh-Maddy....you need to come to the police station," Sam sighed.

"Why?" Maddy asked.

"Bucky got arrested," Sam mumbled.

"HE WHAT?!" Maddy yelled.

Everyone around her, gave her a strange look.

"I'M PREGANT! WHAT ARE YOU ALL STARING AT?" Maddy snapped.

Everyone looked away quickly and hurried off.

Maddy quickly hung up the phone and rushed towards the police station.

Maddy stormed into the police station..... looking for Sam. She saw Sam and Bucky talking to a woman. Maddy marched up towards them.

"JAMES BUCHANAN BARNES!" Maddy growled.

Bucky looked over his shoulder....and so did Sam.

"You called her?" Bucky asked, looking over at Sam.

"Uh-yeah....last I checked she's your wife," Sam said.

The woman walked in between Bucky and Maddy.

"Maddy. I've heard a lot about you. I'm Dr. Raynor....I'm James's therapist," The woman smiled.

"Nice to meet you. Thank you for getting him out" Maddy said.

"That was not me," Dr. Raynor replied.

"CRISTINA!" a familiar voice yelled.

"Oh no," Maddy frowned, turning around.

"John! It's so great to see you again," Dr. Raynor smiled.

"You have to be kidding me! You know him?" Maddy asked.

"Yeah! We did some field ops back in the day," Dr. Raynor said.

"I hear you were working with Bucky, so I thought I'd step in. Bucky's not gonna be following a strict schedule any longer," John smiled.

"We haven't finished our work! Who authorized?" Dr. Raynor asked.

"He's too valuable of an asset to have tied up. So, just do whatever you got to do with him, then send him off to me," John smirked.

Maddy looked at John and frowned.

"Got some unfinished business him and I. I will be waiting outside for the three of you," John said.

They all watched John walk away.

"James, condition of your release, session now! You too, Maddy," Dr. Raynor ordered.

"That's okay! I'll just be out here with Sam," Maddy replied.

"That wasn't a request," Dr. Raynor frowned.

Maddy looked up at Sam.....hoping he'd take her place, but instead he turned on his heels and walked away.
