"Can we please take a break" Armin pleaded as his breathing was uneven and he struggled to keep up with the fast pace.

"Are you sure joining the academy was right for you" Hanji asked with worry as she turned to the blonde boy who pouted.

"Maybe we should take a break, we been walking since last night and the sun already rising. We should catch our breath, I'm sure we far enough not to worry over the soldiers coming after us once they notice we not in the academy" Moblit spoke up as he turned to Mikasa who gave a slight nod before watching the others plump onto the muddy ground and sat. 

"The save camp, you said we would reach it before lunch but that means we be passing the edge of the closest town to our school before reaching the safe camp. Will we be entering the town" Isabel asked with a small smile as she lifted her head to look at mikasa and Levi who were the only two not sitting down in the muddy path. 

"We wont be entering the town, Its too dangerous just to enter an already falling apart town when we lived in them let alone with sick people trying to kill us" Farlan weakly smiled and Mikasa nodded in agreement.

"Lets just hope we can make it to the camp safely, I'm sure us living in the comfort of the academy has made our survival senses dull slightly" Jean mumbled and the others sadden at the thought of how they use to live. 

"Its true, we all got use to the safe living in the academy. We were given a warm bed, clean clothes and food without having to work non stop, fight for it or steal. We gotten soft while training while these people have still been fighting to live just for another day" Marco frowned and looked to his shoes.

"Break over, we need to keep going while its still early in the day. Being in the open like this makes us easy targets while at least others in the breaking towns still got buildings to hide in" Mikasa sighed as she glanced to the sky.

"Lets go" Levi replied and everyone stood up before they all started walking again.
