Warmth

She pulled him towards her holding his wrist and pushed him in front of his father who gulped himself. She looked at Rehan who raised his eyebrows.

"What?", He asked

"Ask him why he is roaming around the house like he is the king of the world troubling my daughter", She told him

"What is your mother saying Anav?", Rehan asked him.

"She is saying in front of you only. You can hear it perfectly", Anav answered him looking around knowing well how he going to get a good beating after this.

"Hooo... See how your son is talking Rehan Ji", Aayat said glaring at him.

"See this is what happens when you love your kids so much. They need a good beating to behave properly", She told Rehan moving towards him pushing her brother away.

Another drama started.

Rehan getting scared of his wife's anger took a step back and fall on the sofa but showed as if he sat knowingly.

"See what words he used right now? He doesn't even thank god that he gave him such a beautiful, hard-working, and obedient wife otherwise nobody would even have slapped on this face", Aayat told him.

"Hoo Mumma. You know na how many girls still die for my looks", Anav told her offended by her statement.

"See Mumma he always says the same thing to me", Roshni said making a crying face as Aayat hugged her kissing her forehead.

"Na meri Bachi. Don't waste your tears for this good for nothing son of mine", Aayat told her
(No my baby)

"Mumma you are doing wrong with me now", Anav told his mother hearing her scolding.

"And you. You always roam around my daughter like an angry king, what is that", Aayat asked him holding Roshni close to her heart.

"She is nowhere less in this Mumma", Anav told her looking at his wife smiling teasingly at him hiding her face from her loving mother-in-law.

"See she is smiling now", He told his mother who looked down to find her making a crying face which melted Aayat's heart immediately.

"What is wrong Anav? Did you guys fought again?", Rehan asked him

"What is wrong? I will tell what is wrong?", Aayat said removing Roshni's face away and took aggressive steps towards Anav who couldn't escape this time, and hit him on his back.

"He is fond of this. He enjoys hurting my daughter. He doesn't even regret anything", She said hitting him continuously on his back and he shouted asking her to stop and ran to his father and hold his hand trying to escape his mother.

His father snatched his hand back scared of his wife.

"Don't touch me", Rehan told him looking at his wife.

"Fill something in his brain. He is so caught up in acting to be her king. If I got hold of him I would definitely not leave him", Aayat told her husband.

"Mumma, sometimes take my side as well. You only want to be the world's Number one Mother-in-law. You always hit me in all this", Anav said jumping the other side of the sofa to create maximum distance between them.

"Hear me good Anav. If you said a single word to Roshni from now on I would turn your cheeks red with my slaps", Aayat told him showing him her hand.

"I would get lost with my cheeks then you stay with your daughter only", He told her as he walked outside not before glaring at his wife who poked her tongue at him hiding from the family members. Aayat followed him but he already left.

"Rehan Ji I am telling you already. This son of yours would get a good beating from me than his bones would get relaxed", Aayat told him.

"Handle him properly na Aayat he is married", Rehan told him looking at Roshni who looked down looking like an innocent baby. How can his son hurt his innocent daughter? He shook his head not knowing how of a little devil she is.

"He is married so what should I do? Should I wear him like a crown ha?", She shouted at her husband who stayed quite scared of her anger.

"I am telling you if I didn't make him straight like an arrow you change my name from Aarandhana to...
to what", She thought.

"Anadara", Palak told her.

"Does that have a meaning?", Aayat asked her who shrugged. She nodded.

"Whatever you want just change my name? Poora dialogue kharaab ho gaya", Aayat mumbled moving upstairs and took the girls with her.(I destroyed the whole Dialogue)

"How do you live with her?", Taksh asked Rehan who just shook his head taking a dramatic deep breath.

"We have lots of work to do. This Anav ran away at the right moment. I would've made him carry all the heavy items", Rehan mumbled.

"You have helpers for that", Anant told him.

"Why use helpers when you have too young and strong sons. I have taken care of them since childhood can't they carry some weight for me now", Rehan said as went out.

Taksh raised his eyebrows looking at his father who shook his head.

"Crazy family", He mumbled while Taksh nodded agreeing to the fact.

The engagement party just started as a romantic song started playing in the background. Everybody's eyes moved towards the stairs waiting for the bride to be to step down especially Ekansh. His eyes were focused on the stairs to find his bride without caring about the world calling him lovesick.

Meri raahein tere tak hain
Tujhpe hi toh mera haq hai
Ishq mera tu beshaq hai
Tujhpe hi toh mera haq hai

Soon the bride came into the view with her two Bhabhi on either side helping her with her heavy orange lehenga. Her whole attention was on not falling down the stairs because of the heavy dress and extra attention she was getting.

Saath chhodunga na tere pichhe aaunga
Chheen lunga ya Khuda se maang laaunga
Tere naal taqdeeran likhwaunga
Main tera ban jaaunga
Main tera ban jaaunga

Aadya held on to Shraddha and Roshni's hand for her dear life having her eyes on the stairs not having the courage to look at the people who were boring holes on her body.

Sonh teri main kasam yehi khaunga
Keetey waadeya nu umraan nibhaunga
Tujhe har vaari apna banaunga
Main tera ban jaaunga
Main tera ban jaaunga

Soon they reached the last stair as Ekansh came forward to take her hand in his which she was grateful for. Roshni took few steps back and bumped into a hard chest.

She gasped and looked back at her husband who was looking down at her only.

Na na na... o yeh...

Lakhaan ton juda main hoyi teri ḳhaatir
Tu hi manzil dil tera musaafir

She smiled brightly at him but he ignored it royally.

Lakhaan ton juda main hoya teri ḳhaatir
Tu hi manzil main tera musaafir
Rab nu bhula betha tere karke
Main ho gaya qaafir

"What's wrong", She asked him.

"The way you humiliated me in front of the elders, do you really think I would forget that", He gritted smiling at the people around them who smiled back at him. She bit her lips.

"So what. They were family only. You can embarrass me also. I won't mind neither would make such an arrogant face", She told him who glared down at him. She narrowed her eyes at him before turning to the couple who were moving towards the garden.

Tere liye main jahaan se takraunga
Sab kuch khoke tujhko hi paaunga
Dil banke main dil dhadkaunga
Main tera ban jaaunga
Main tera ban jaaunga

"Sadu Khurana", She mumbled as he narrowed his eyes at her. (Irritated Khurana)

"Anav", He heard the most irritating voice in his whole life. Sayera came towards them in her oh-so-very heavy dress as if it's her engagement.

He glared daggers at her.

"You look really handsome Annu", She said in a sugar-coated voice as he cringed at her words.

"It's Anav", He corrected her rather rudely. Roshni looked at him slightly taken aback by his rude behavior.

"Don't be like this Anav. We know each other since forever we don't need formalities", Sayera told him eying Roshni evilly who couldn't really understand what was happening.

"I don't know you even a little bit", Anav told her looking at Roshni who pouted at him trying to pacify his anger. His heart was melting ever so quickly looking at her innocent face. He wrapped his arms around her bare waist directing her towards the garden.

Her pale skin was glowing more in the royal blue lehenga she was wearing. The cherry on top was her long hip-length dark brown almost black hair left open with the ends curled up elegantly. She looked like a queen. His queen. The blue dupatta tucked on her head as the veil gave her a more heavenly look. He couldn't keep his hands to himself looking at her now.

When Shraddha did her hair she put them in a bun but right now they were open. He was glaring daggers at the people who were looking at his wife showing them who she really belong to.

"Am I forgiven?", Roshni asked him with hopeful eyes. He looked down at her and ignored her. She sighed before looking around. She was hungry but she needs to wait till the time engagement is completed.

"You can leave Bhabhi you know?", Taksh told Anav. Anav raised his eyebrows at his younger brother before shaking his head and taking him in a brotherly hug. He had seen him after so long.

"How are you?", He asked in an authoritative voice.

"Like always busy", Taksh answered smiling at him before looking at Roshni.

"Bhabhi Ji", He said as he bowed down to touch her feet as she jumped back with a small squeal.

"What are you doing?", She asked him in a small voice.

"You are elder than me respecting your place. That's what we do right?", Taksh asked in confusion looking at Anav.

"She is 21 only and you are 23 stop acting like that", Anav told him.

"Come on Anav no matter what you are elder than me and she is your wife which makes her elder than me in relation", Taksh explained before looking at Roshni.

"May I?", He asked her. She twisted her lips in discomfort before looking at Anav who nodded. She nodded as he bowed down and touch her feet.

"Aren't you going to bless me?", He asked her still bowing down.

"Yeah bless him to get married soon and destroy his life soon", Anav told her mischievously as she gasped narrowing her eyes at him.

"I should say the same thing about you Anav Ji", She said making Taksh stand up holding his shoulder still having her eyes narrowed at her husband.

"Stop fighting both of you", Taksh told him.

"So Bhabhi I am staying here till Aadya's wedding. Help me find a girl for myself as well", Taksh asked her as Roshni nodded happily. She loved to dance at everyone's wedding but it was the opposite in her wedding.

"I used to say the same thing years ago but now everything changed", Anav told him.

"Shut up brother you are always having problems with everything. See how sweet Bhabhi is? I am in her team, not yours", Taksh told him who glared at him.

"And I am in Bhai's team", Preha told them as she wrapped her arms around Anav who laughed.

"Hi Bhabhi", Preha waved at Roshni who smiled at her.

"So we are going to stay till Aadya Di's wedding and we are going to do so much fun", She squeals as Roshni nodded loving both brother-sister's energy from now only.

"Ye Chand kaha se nazar aaya", Roshni jumped as she felt arms around her waist which were really cold mind you. (How did I see the moon today?)

"Arohi", She gasped looking at her best friend who smiled evilly at her showing her the ice in her hands.

"Have you gone mad?", Roshni gritted at her.

"You should respect me too I am one year older than you", Arohi told her.

"What are you doing here?", Roshni inquired.

"Your Jiju. I mean my fiance is Mr. Singh's secretary so?", Arohi told her pointing at a tall young man standing behind Ekansh talking about god knows what.

"Are you sure about him?", Roshni whispered in her ear. Arohi slapped her hands in irritation.

"My dream guy", Arohi told her with dreamy eyes as Roshni looked at her with a weird face. She couldn't find anything in him which Arohi liked but again it wasn't her place to choose.

"Excuse me", Anav said taking Roshni with him understanding her facial expression and stopping her from saying anything weird.

"What's wrong?", He asked her directing her towards a less crowded place as she looked at him with lines forming on her forehead.

"I don't find anything good in him", Roshni told him.

"And why is that? He looks pretty decent", Anav asked her looking at the poor guy. He was pretty much good-looking.

"I don't like his personality", She mumbled with a cute pout on her face.

"Whose personality do you like Mrs. Khurana?", He asked her.

"I like yours", She told him slightly embarrassed by his question.

"I am your crush from childhood. Except me?", He asked her. She twisted her lips looking in space thinking about her question.

"Your favorite hero?", He asked her.

"I don't have one", She told him still looking in space.

"Varun Dhawan?", He asked her.

"He is too short. I am of his height", She told him.

"Salman Khan", He asked her.

"He is short as well, too old and I don't find him attractive at all", She told him as he raised his eyebrows at her.

"Hrithik Roshan?", He asked.

"I don't like him", She stated as he started getting irritated.

"Who do you find attractive?", He asked in irritation.

"You", She told him innocently and he wanted nothing but to scoop her in his arms at that moment.

"You love me that much?", He asked as she nodded innocently at him.

"You know Ma-Papa always told me how I should keep my feelings in check. I was the reputation of my house whether I like it or not. It was my responsibility to increase their reputation in society. There were many rules for me like I shouldn't wear short dresses, should not come in contact with boys, should learn cooking from an early age, Speak slowly and keep my tongue in check. I was stopped from participating in school functions because It would lead to me being in bad company. The main reason why I lost all my confidence", She told him still looking in space as if living her past.

"I wasn't really a big fan of short dresses because from childhood only I was a chubby child. Mayura used to make fun of me because of my height and chubby cheeks but I didn't really care. I wasn't comfortable in such dresses neither my family allowed it. They always compared me with Mayura. So I was busier in competing with her in every field and didn't get the time to look at the boys around me who were always busy doing my ragging but at a point in time, I started taking a stand for myself. And when the time came for me to look around for boys though I won't have done that still when I got a little time from studies I got the news of me getting married to you. I resisted but my father blackmailed me with his deteriorating health and I couldn't say no anymore. You don't even understand how difficult it could've been for me, Anav Ji. The girl who was not comfortable with even shaking hands with a guy was expected to get married suddenly and accept her husband's touch. It was so difficult for me to feel comfortable under your touch but fortunately, you didn't try to touch me like that at the starting of our marriage and I got comfortable under your touch", She smiled brightly at him at the end of her statement.

He looked at her with astonishment. He couldn't believe he married such an innocent soul. He cursed himself for saying all the wrong things to her at the starting of her marriage and promised himself silently to take care of her innocence all his life.

He pulled her close to his heart and hugged her as she wrapped her soft arms around his neck snuggling in his warmth.
