Roshni

"Chachi", I heard Arjun as I was in my room reading a book. I looked up from it and smiled at him.

"What's wrong, gentleman?", I asked him as he smiled jumping on the bed making me laugh.

"I play game?", He spoke as I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Did you study what I asked you to study two weeks ago", I asked him as he shook his head with a cute pout. Of course, he is a little kid. He won't do that. You are stupid Roshni.

"Alright what you wanna play?", I asked him as he put his ludo on the bed.

We played for an hour or so as he started jumping again.

"Chachi stoly", He spoke as I pouted. I don't know any story.

"Arjun you are asking the wrong person to tell you a story. She could only do one thing that is praise another man in front of your Chachu", Anav Ji said as I glared at him.

"I was just telling you the truth", I told him as he glared at me.

"When will you learn maturity?", He asked me as I poked my tongue at him as Arjun did the same thing. I laughed looking at his face which was looking very funny mind you.

"Arjun baby will you see what Aadya Bua is doing?", Anav Ji asked him as he nodded. He stood up and kissed my cheeks before running out. He is so cute.

I saw him locking the door as I went back to reading the book. 

Suddenly he picked me up making me squeal as the book fell from my hands and took me to the balcony.

"What are you doing?", I asked him holding him tightly. This guy is stupid, he can throw me down as well.

"What is his name, Roshni?", He asked me as I frowned.

"Who?", I asked him.

"That guy you used to like", He spoke as I nodded.

"Rohan", I told him as he frowned.

"What kind of name is that? So old fashioned", He spoke as I hit his shoulder.

"It is cute", I told him as he glared at me.

"I will throw you from here only. I swear if you didn't shut up", He spoke reaching the end of the balcony.

"Are you mad Anav Ji? I will die. From where will you find such a cute and young girl for yourself again", I squealed as he glared at me.

"From where this age comes in between us?", He asked as I gave him my cutest look which made him laugh.

"Anav Ji you won't do this. I am very young to die. I didn't even have kids till now. I don't want to die like this", I shouted clinging to him as he made a motion to throw me down.

"I would have ignored any other thing but you talked about kids and I do want many kids. Just like me", He spoke moving inside as I frowned.

"Why not like me?", I asked him.

"Because then they would be very irritating", He spoke as I frowned.

"I was the nicest baby in my whole family", I told him as he placed me back on the bed.

"I could never believe that", He told me as I glared at him.

"You look delicious today, wifey", He spoke as I frowned.

"Anav Ji you are taking advantage of my injury just because I have to stay in bed doesn't mean you are going to", He placed his finger on my lips.

"I would tire you to walk around till then", He completed jumping on me as I sighed. This guy is really a beast who is all set to make me his prey.

"Shraddha Bacha can I talk", Aayat asked knocking on the door as Shraddha was busy putting the pillows in the right place.

"Yes, Mumma. You don't have to ask", Shraddha spoke smiling at her as she passed her the same smile.

"Sit beside me", Aayat told her as she did as was asked.

"You know why I am here?", Aayat asked her as Shraddha sighed.

"Everybody is behind my family these days", She answered as Aayat smiled at her state taking her hands in hers.

"You must be feeling that everybody is against you at this moment. They only think about Roshni. They are just ignoring your sufferings", Aayat asked as Shraddha stayed silent.

"Married life is not at all easy Shraddha. I am a living example of that. I have heard so much in my life. You know when Adhi and Anav were about to born, they even questioned if they were Rehan Ji's babies. I wanted to tear their head apart at that time but Rehan Ji was always there with me so I didn't have any problem", Aayat completed as Shraddha's eyes filled with tears.

"It isn't like Adhi don't love you. It's his guilt of slapping Aadya because of you and also what happened to him and Rehan Ji because of your family", Aayat told her patiently.

"What did they do to Papa and Adhi?", Shraddha frowned. Aayat sighed.

"I won't have shared this if the situation was not like this", Aayat told her looking up in her eyes.

"You know how depressed Anav was when he was failing again and again in his currier. Rehan Ji came to know about it and did some research. He came to know that they were Maheshwari's who was acting as a stone between Anav's success. They were taking revenge from Rehan Ji for denying to do a deal with them years ago because their plan wasn't solid. Then they came to know about you being with Adhi and decided that they would make Anav fall in the ocean of depression in which he would take some wrong decision. The whole property of the Khurana family would be transferred in Adhi's name and after your wedding, they would ask you to divorce him and the whole property would be in your name with those papers they were trying to make Adhi sign. But Adhi and Rehan Ji came to know about this. They visited the court to do the changes but in the mid only their car met with an accident with a truck. Thanks to Krishna nothing happen to them. When they tried to go to the root of the problem, they came to know it was Maheshwari's who didn't want them to tell the police about what they were doing. Adhi was hell-bent on marrying you though Anav denied it after knowing the problem but seeing the love Adhi had for you, Anav took a step back", Aayat spoke as Shraddha stayed silent tears falling her eyes.

"I know sweetheart it is difficult to believe a family you just stayed with 4 years ignoring the family who gave you an upbringing. But my son loves you a lot bacha. Don't forget this fact", Aayat completed standing up from her place. 

"It's your decision now. I told you everything", Aayat spoke.

"Just remember this is the same Adhi who once fought from the whole world for you. I have loved you like my own daughter. Shraddha my both sons are the same but still a lot different. Anav loses his calm easily but is easy to calm down as well but Adhi loses his calm rarely and is hard to calm down when he loses his calm. Save your relationship Shraddha. Handle it before it gets more complicated. Don't think I am trying to brainwash you. Just think about it. Everyone in the world is not always right. Try to compare everyone. I won't ask you to leave your family just understand their intentions. They can also be wrong", Aayat told her as she kept her hand on her head before leaving. Shraddha looked at the door from where she left.

This much happened without her knowing. 

They had proofs for her brother. Her sister said it is necessary to fulfill other person's needs to reach the top but was that really important. It's like you are selling your body for money.

She sighed before moving out. She heard giggling from Anav's room. It belonged to her son.

She knocked on the door to find Roshni tickling Arjun as he laughed.

"Bhabhi, Why are you knocking come inside?", Roshni asked her as Arjun ran towards her. She smiled before picking him up.

"Mumma is sorry, baby for behaving rudely with you", She told Arjun as he smiled before kissing her cheek.

"Can I talk to you Roshni?", Shraddha asked as Roshni frowned.

"Why are you asking Bhabhi? Say na", Roshni spoke smiling at her. Shraddha smiled before sitting beside her.

"Are you mad at me for what Sayera did?", Shraddha asked as Roshni shook her head immediately.

"I can understand Bhabhi. Blood is thicker than water. It is very hard to trust somebody else over your own blood. Like I trust my family, though I know my brother and Bhabhi are not right. I can't expect you to trust anybody else as well. You have lived your whole life with her. You would obviously keep her above everyone else", Roshni spoke taking her hands in hers.

Shraddha smiled caressing her cheek.

"You are maturer than your age", She told her as Roshni smiled back at her.

"Tell this to Anav Ji. He always calls me a little child", Roshni said pouting cutely as Shraddha smiled at her innocence.

"I really consider you as my little sister, Roshni", Shraddha said as Roshni nodded.

"Roshni put this ointment", They heard Anav as he entered inside. He looked at Shraddha who nodded.

"You put ointment on your wound. If you need anything just ask me", Shraddha told her cupping her chubby cheeks as Roshni nodded.

"She can ask me if she needs anything. You don't have to worry", Anav spoke coldly.

"Anav Ji stop it now. My wound is also better now stop speaking like this with Bhabhi", Roshni told him as he glared at her.

"It's fine, Roshni. I have to find Adhi. You take care. I will send the turmeric milk for you", Shraddha said as Roshni twisted her lips.

"No turmeric milk, please. It is eww", Roshni spoke as Shraddha smiled before moving out of the room.

She looked around to find her husband but he was nowhere to be found. She walked downstairs to find him. After searching in the whole house, she sighed before moving towards her room. 

Where are you, Adhi? 

She wondered entering her room to find him checking some files.

"Adhi", She called happily as he turned to her with a raised eyebrow.

"What is wrong?", He asked as he looked at her happy face. What was there to be this happy? He wondered looking at her face.

"Why are you reacting like this?", She asked gulping. He was giving her a cold look.

"I am not reacting anyhow. Speak. Did you need something?", He asked as she nodded quickly. He raised his eyebrow at her.

"I need time. Your time", She spoke as he stared at her face before shaking his head moving out of the room with the file. She held his wrist stopping him to leave. She tied his hand with her dupatta as he frowned.

"What is this, Shraddha?", Adhi asked irritated.

"You are not listening to me, Adhi. I said I want time. You are not even looking at me", Shraddha spoke as he frowned.

"What do you want me to do?", Adhi asked as she twisted her lips before putting her head on his chest.

"Punish me for breaking your trust. But don't ignore me", She spoke as Adhi took a step back.

"It is not this easy Shraddha. You can't just play with my emotions and get away with it with a single punishment", Adhi told her as she nodded.

"Then give me many punishments but don't ignore me", She spoke.

"How this new change came inside you suddenly?", He asked looking at her intently as she frowned.

"What do you mean?", She asked.

"Did Mumma or anybody else talked to you? You won't ever understand or trust my words on your own. Who spoke to you?", He spoke as she looked down.

"Adhi do anything but don't push me away from you. I Love You and you know this", She pleaded.

"I pleaded in front of you as well to trust me but you didn't listen. Now go through the same", He spoke removing her dupatta from his elbow getting out of the room. She sighed. 

Mumma was right. It will take a long time to make him understand.
