Roshni

I woke up to strong arms around me. I sighed before snuggling in the warmth. I was about to fall asleep again when I realized what happened last night. I told him to not touch me. His chin was on my shoulder. Don't he understand what I mean by distance?

I turned to find him still sleeping. I don't even have the heart to wake him. I found the pillows lying on the floor which was once acting as a wall between us. I checked the time. It was still 4:39 a.m. I still have two hours to wake up.

I sighed before snuggling in his arms. I would fight later right now I am very sleepy. Before I knew I fall asleep again.

I woke up at 6:30 next more like Anav Ji wake me up.

"Go take bath", He said to which I nodded closing my eyes again.

"You are so lazy, Roshni", He said to which I opened my sleepy eyes not really in the mood to glare at him. He is acting as if nothing happened. He should've been an actor. I don't want to fight in the early morning so went to take a bath. I combed my wet hair and was about to pin them when he started.

"You are not having college today so you can bring me my lunch in the afternoon", He told me putting on his coat and gave me his tie. I raised my eyebrow at him looking at the tie.

"Help me with it", He said to which I nodded. I still have to pin my hair up. I went near him placing the tie around his neck. Thank god I learned to tie it in my school.

He kept on looking at me while I was having my whole attention on his tie. I felt his arms sneaking around my waist but I denied to show any effect on my face.

"Done", I said as I completed my task. 

"What?", He asked as I glared at him.

"Do you want me to break your hands? Or you are going to remove your hands willingly", I asked him.

"You think you scare me?", He asked but I kept on giving him a serious face.

"You look beautiful with wet hair", He said as he removed some strands from my face.

"Don't I look beautiful the other times?", I asked him in a cold voice. He sighed before removing his arms and took a step back from me.

"Just bring me my lunch", He said to which I nodded putting the vermilion and wearing my glass bangles matching with the green saree I was wearing today. Suddenly my eyes fall on the diamond bangles I wore in my daily use which Mumma gave me on my first day here.

Bhabhi said it worths a fortune. Of course, It does. It was studded with precious diamonds.

"What are you thinking?", I heard Anav Ji as I looked up and shook my head.

"Something of past", I told him.

"Wanna share?", He asked. I shook my head before removing the bangles and keeping them on the table. I say I am not a gold digger still I am wearing these precious bangles. 

"Why did you remove them? They were going well with your saree", He asked me. I sighed before shaking my head again.

"I don't feel like wearing them", I told him.

"I would like to tell you I didn't buy your lie. And you suck at lying at well", He said as I picked up my phone to check the messages.

"You should know than not to ask me something for which I will lie", I told him.

"Till when will this go on Roshni", He asked as he sat in front of me on the floor while I was sitting on the bed.

"What do you mean?", I asked him.

"I mean this distance between us. It had been nearly three months since our wedding and we are still in stage 1", He said.

"I put all my trust on you in the starting only and you broke it. I am not able to trust you again even when I am trying my best", I told him.

"Are we going to stay like this only? So close yet so distant", He said as he put his head in my lap. I sighed before combing his hair with my fingers.

"I don't know Anav Ji. I am trying. And I know you are trying as well but it is difficult for me", I told him.

"I know. Alright, I won't trouble you anymore. I would be going to the office now don't forget to bring me my lunch", He told me. He was about to leave when I hold his wrist.

"Anav Ji when are you going to announce our marriage to the world?", I asked him.

"What do you mean Roshni? They know I am married", He said. I shook my head.

"They know you are married but they don't know it's me you are married to", I told him.

"Is it important for you?", He asked me.

"I don't know. I feel insecure sometimes", I told him truthfully. He cupped my face looking into my eyes.

"You don't have to. I am not really happy keeping you as a secret but you see if they came to know it's you, they won't let you live a private life. At least, till the time you are in college, I would try to provide you a normal life", He said to which I nodded slowly. He kissed my forehead before going outside. Is it me only or his eyes are really very deep and beautiful.

"Thank you, uncle. You can go home I will come back in a taxi", I told Driver uncle.

"No, I will wait here. Your husband gave me strict orders to pick and drop you", He said. I smiled thankfully at him. Sometimes I really regret why I never learned how to drive.

I made my way out. Am I going to work here? This is too big. I would forget the way.

I went inside and reached to the reception to find a beautiful girl on the reception talking on her phone. After five minutes, She was finally done with her gossips.

"How may I help you?", She asked plastering a fake smile on her face.

"Where can I find Anav Ji... I mean Anav Khurana?", I asked her. She looked at me from top to bottom.

"For what reason may I know?", She asked me. I sighed. I removed the bangles as well in the morning. Of course, I was not looking like any of those girls who came here to meet him. She is not at fault. I am clad in a simple green net saree nothing special like other girls here.

I sighed. What am I going to do now? She won't let me go inside like this.

"Ma'am?", I heard someone as I turned to find one of Anav Ji's bodyguard behind me. I nodded at him.

"Sir is waiting for you", He said to which I nodded. 

"Where is he?", I asked him.

"Top floor", He said to which I nodded.

"But she can't go without an appointment", The reception girl said poking her head in unwanted matters.

"If you want to lose your job stopping her here. You can go on", The man said.

"But who is she?", She asked looking at me.

"Can I please go before he comes here?", I asked to which he nodded.

I made my way to the elevator and pressed the button for the top floor. 

Thankfully only his secretary was there on the top floor who knows me.

"This way ma'am", Mr. Joshi said taking me to my husband's office. I entered inside without knocking as he left.

"Joshi don't you have manners. I told you not to enter inside without knocking", I heard him shouting as he sat behind the heavy glass table on his dark brown leather head chair.

"Bull Khurana", I mumbled sitting opposite him on one of the chairs placed around a smaller table.

"And where is this Roshni? She should've been here. Go check if she is here till now. Go", He shouted as I looked at him. He didn't even look up. 

"And from when did you start using the same perfume as Roshni", He said as he finally looked up. I started putting the food on a plate. He is really stupid. I wanted to laugh so loud at his face but somehow controlled myself. 

I felt him sitting beside me.

"Can't you find any other saree", He said as I looked down.

"What is the problem with this one?", I asked him.

"It is showing all your curves", He mumbled. I wanted to laugh so loudly at his face. He was looking like a toddler whose chocolate was snatched from him.

"You were the one who bought this", I pointed out.

"It was only for me to see", He pointed out as he started having his food quickly ending up biting his tongue really badly.

"Oh my god, Anav Ji. Why do you have to act like a small kid? Can't you eat properly", I scolded him.

"Show me your tongue", I told him.

"It is hurting very badly Roshni", He said as he kept his eyes closed. He must be in so much pain.

"Show me", I asked him as he showed me his tongue. It was bleeding badly.

"We can't even put any medicine there", I said caressing his cheek. He opened his eyes slowly.

"There is one way", He said.

"What?", I asked.

"Kiss me. It will not bleed any more than", He said as I glared at him.

"You think it's a joke. It is bleeding so badly Anav Ji. How can you joke at this moment?", I asked him caressing his cheek softly.

"You are over-reacting. It's like you would start crying any moment", He said

"Shut up. You don't even know how to eat", I told him as I feed him cautiously while he kept on wincing.

"You always act like a child. Why do you have to be like this?", I asked him as I finished feeding him.

"You look so angry at this moment", He teased. I glared at him.

"Are you done now? Can I leave", I asked him as he ate the last morsel.

"Why are you in so much haste? I am not going to eat you", He said as he reached his desk before closing his laptop.

"Let me show you your cabin", He said.

"You mean my cabin", I asked him pointing at myself.

"Oh, no can't you see this lady standing in front of me. Oh how could you see her she is a ghost", He said sarcastically.

"Who is here other than us Roshni?", He asked me as I gritted my teeth.

"If you would continue gritting your teeth like this you would lose your teeth very soon. And I can't even imagine Roshni without teeth", He said seriously but laughed after a minute as If imagining me without teeth. I glared at him before standing up checking if the veil is properly pinned on my head.

He offered me his hand which I ignored royally and made my way out.

"How rude Roshni?", He said. I looked back. His hand was still out for me to take. I sighed. I can't do this. He is trying and I am being my egoistic self. This is not right Roshni. You can't treat your husband like this. He had only been nice to you in this one week time span. 

I went back and take his hand. He nodded wearing a hard look moving out of his office. Typical Big Boss.

What do you think? I am having my pre-boards from 19 but I already wrote this chapter some editing was left so thought to complete the chapter.

By the way, What do you think about Anav? He is being a sweetheart and Roshni is melting.

Who do you hate the most in the world?

I hate my project partner the most right now because she is doing nothing and I have to complete the whole project and she will get the marks as well for my hard work. This is not at all fair. 

So I will stop my ranting. Have a nice day everyone. My maths book is calling me. I don't know when I will be back from now.
