(So in this remake they start Hogwarts at age 15-16 and leave at the age 21. Since the drinking age is different in most countries I'm gonna make the drinking age in this story around 19. They have five years at Hogwarts. )

Pidge woke up early on the sunny Friday morning and got dresses. School didnt really start until Monday so all years had today and the normal weekend off. She arrived at Hogwarts on Wednesday night, had her first class taster half day that ended horribly and today was a full day off where she hoping to find her brother. She noticed Acxa start to wake up and get dressed for her morning training. Pidge gave her a smile before she left the room for breakfast. 

She would use her phone to call matt but Hogwarts have horrible signal. You can play games and listen to music with your phones in the hall way or in your house room. But for class and the rest of the day they must be turned off. Why not just sneak them into to class on silent well because each class has a magic spell that sucks your phone to the wall and wont relases until the end of the day. This makes calling or texting others even harder since if you walk too close to a class room or an area where phones are band you lose it for the day, so most just keep their phones by their bed. Only turning them on during the train ride home. But pidge wont let that stop her, she made her way to the Hufflepuff hoping she catch her brother before he hangs out with friends or something. 

You wonder why they give us a full Friday off since they gave us a half day yesterday to unpack and look around the school. Well some magic books needed in most class's wont be out until today meaning most class's wouldn't be able to do class anyway so they gave us a day off while the already paid books get delivered straight to us or our parents go buy them today before sending them over. The weekend also gives parents of families time to send over anything you might have forgotten or didnt pack but needed. 

Pidge soon arrived to the Hufflepuff painting and was glared at straight away. "guess most paintings dont like Slytherin" Pidge said nervous but stilled walked closer. "I'm looking for my brother matt holt" Pidge says with a weak smile and the person stand before walking away to check. "he already left" the painting replied before going back to how they were before. "I see, um do you know where I can find him" pidge asked but the painting just looked away. 

"oh no a Slytherin" she a male voice say with worry and turned to meet with lance a older looking guy who was big, tanned and had dark brown hair with a ribbon around. "I'm not here to start anything, I just looking for my brother" Pidge sighed since she didnt want to be yelled at or worse. "oh hey its you, the boat chick" Lance smiled brightly and pidge smiled. "hello lover boy lance, what brings you to the Hufflepuff housing" Pidge asked with a small smile. "as well my childhood friend forgot something so I came with him to pick it up before we go over to the quidditch training area" lance smiled kindly.

"I thought they the tries out weren't until Monday" pidge asked. "oh they are but I'm already on the Hufflepuff quidditch team and all the quidditch are meeting up today to see what number members they gonna need and who still on the team since last year fifth years have left and some last year forth years are left so they can only focus on studying this year and you sometimes get younger years leave after a year on being on the team since the didnt wanna play anymore" the tall guy said with a nervous smile.  "I see that really smart idea" Pidge smiled and the two boys nodded. "Pidge" keith yelled with a grin as he ran over shocking the shorter girl since why would a Gryffindor be this far out or near a Hufflepuff house. "keith, why are you this end" Pidge asked. "I got stuck helping my mother carry her bags to her room, she a teacher here and treats me like a slave then I saw you and ran over since I'm done" keith smiled. 

"well me and hunk better get moving, hope you find your brother" lance smiled. "thanks, ah wait hunk right, do you know where matt holt would be" Pidge quickly asked since he looked the same age and is in the same house as her brother. "he also plays quidditch so just follow us and we lead you to him" Hunk said with a kind smile after seeing pidge as not a threat. "brother" keith asked. "yeah I need to find my brother since he gonna give me his old first year books since he put small notes inside to explain words we didnt understand since we always be surrounded by muggles all our life and only taught the basic by a wizard we met long ago" Pidge said with a small smile and rubbed her neck.

"wow that means you must not know a lot about the magic world, well you can always ask me for help if you didnt understand anything" keith smiled and hunk soon came back out. "yeah and I'm always here to help if you need it" lance smiled kindly. "we better hurry" Hunk smiled after seeing he was late and the four walked, they all chatted and joked a little. They all told their funny stories of how they messed up when using magic as a child and all agree to be friends from now on. It seem they didnt care Pidge was a Slytherin she was just their friend.

Soon they reached the quidditch area and saw  Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Slytherin houses in the four different corners making sure not to be too close to the others. "wow so this is a quidditch training area" keith said with a smile as he looked around. "yeah its pretty cool, I cant wait for the try out" Lance said excited. "well I wish you both luck on Monday, I talk to you a little later since the captain gonna give me for being late" hunk smiled ran over to the corner of the Hufflepuff and the three decided to stand back and wait since it look like they were doing names and important talks. 

"what about you pidge, you gonna try out" lance asked with a grin. "I dont think I be very good at quidditch, I'm sure my brother better at it then me" Pidge said with a smile as they three sat on the metal pole fence. "you never if you dont try and it might be fun playing against each other in the games" Keith smiled. "dont laugh but I've never flew on a broom before, matt got to do it when he first got his Hogwarts letter since the ally had a small class where you tried flying for ten minutes but I wasn't allowed to try, so I dont know how" Pidge said embarrassed and her new friends turned to her shock. "wow your really a newbie to the magic world. everyone flew at least once in their life" Lance said shocked. "well like I said we always been around muggles and only met another wizard once when we were kids but he only taught a little in a couple hours before leaving" Pidge said embarrassed. "why not let us teach you tomorrow, the school said we allowed to use brooms along as its in the training area, so we teach you and if you like it you can try out later" Keith smiled and Pidge gave a small nod. 

"so what one is your brother" Lance asked since it been twenty minutes and all the teams are still talking about whatever. "no clue" Pidge said as everyone was too far to see any faces. "what dose he look like" keith asked since they gonna make it into a game who can see him first. "me but taller" Pidge replied making her two friend burst out in laughter. "you b-but t-taller" Lance laughed so hard he fell of the fence. "wow pidge" Keith laughed holding his side. "its true I look like him but shorter" Pidge grinned and the two finally calmed down to noticed that a couple of people from each house was glaring at them. After another ten minutes it seemed everyone was leaving. A couple was still talking but most was leaving now and they took this time to look out for a taller pidge. "I didnt see anyone like you" keith said as now most left. "wait I think hunk got him" lance said pointing to hunk who waved them over. "nice work hunk" Pidge grinned and the three walked over. 

"pidge I forgot what your brother was called again" hunk said with worry and the three face planted as he said it. "his name is matt holt, he looks like me but taller" Pidge said with a small smile and before she knew it a pair of arms wrapped themselves around her waist and lifting her up. They spun her and she yelp. "Matt you ass" Pidge yelled as matt kept spinning around and her legs was flying in the air like she was a teddy bear being spun by a child. 

"so mean Pidgeon" Matt giggled and placed her down. "says the guy who just spun me" Pidge said dizzy and trying to stand right but had no luck. "so what do you think, dont you brother look super cool and handsome in his Hufflepuff robe" Matt grinned and stood a pose. "sorry I dont see anyone cool or handsome around, maybe I should check other dudes out" Pidge said with a smirk as Matt pouted and soon went pale when hearing his sister saying she check other guys out. "no way in hell are you allowed to look at any guys or even talk to any males in this school" Matt yelled shaking his sister who just laughed. "why dont you meet my friends, keith, lance and hunk" Pidge smiled and her brother turned to them with a smile. "nice to meet you, ok you can look at them since they dont count but no other boys" matt warned and pidge friends wasn't sure hot to take that.  

"anyway what do you think of my robe" Pidge smiled as she did a small spin. "looking good sis, I was worried it might not fit but it suits you, what your house" matt asked with a huge smile as pidge tie was tuck inside the robe hidden. "oh um about that" Pidge said a little nervous. "I already know you didnt get into Hufflepuff no worries, so was it Ravenclaw ... wait no way did you make it into Gryffindor" Matt said excited and pulled his little sister robe up to see a green tie shocking him. "your a Slytherin" matt said shocked and upset. "yeah .. seems like the hat wanted me in green" pidge said trying to make a joke. "I see well um, I'm glad you made friends and still have your cute face" Matt said with a small smile trying to move on since he couldn't say anything good about her being in Slytherin and her friends could tell. 

"pidge came for your old books, why dont we walk back so she can take them to her room where they be safe" keith said with his arms crossed trying to move on. "oh yeah sure, why dont you wait outside coran class room and I bring them over" matt smiled and started to walk away. "wait why dont we all go, I need to check on yellow" hunk smiled, yellow was his pet rat. "um sure" matt smiled unsure about being a Slytherin near his house door. "we wait outside coran class, no worries you two go ahead" Lance smiled and matt nodded.

"well you really do look like your brother but he is taller" lance said with a friendly smile since he wasn't sure how to talk after seeing her brother reaction after finding out she became a Slytherin. "yep" pidge sighed still feeling down after seeing her brother reaction, she thought out of all people he just act the same and congrats her for getting in or stuff. "well this sucks" keith hissed and the other two nodded. "sorry I'm late" hunk smiled as he ran over with a small bag and pidge remembered it was a book bag she made out of her old clothes just for matt when he first came to Hogwarts, something so he wouldn't feel lonely. 

"where matt" Pidge asked as he looked behind hunk for her brother but didnt see him. "ah well a teacher asked for his help so he couldn't make it, but he told me all his first year books are inside and he see you around" hunk said with a worried smile since it was clear matt didnt really wanna see her and he lied about the teacher thing since matt went off with a friend. "thanks hunk, well I better put these in my room, I see you guys later if you dont mind" Pidge said with a kind smile trying not to think about her brother. "I cant today since my mother be looking for me to help her unpack everything but lets meet up tomorrow and we work on the broom skills" Keith said with a worried smile. "yeah we meet you at the Quidditch area at 10, deal" Lance smiled brightly. "deal, see you all tomorrow" Pidge yelled and waved before walking back.

"hunk dont try and lie, your bad at it" keith sighed since if he could tell then Pidge knew for sure he was lying. "sorry I didnt wanna say he went of with others friends and told me to pass it on without saying her name so his friends didnt ask about his sister" Hunk said with worry. "ouch, I feel bad for pidge" Lance said with worry.

Pidge made her way to the  Slytherin room and passed everyone until she reached the first years girls room. She placed the bag of books under her bed where she knew they be safe and sat on her bed stroking green. "hey girl" pidge smiled and she stroked her cute cat. Pidge sat their depressed until she remember the guy she met yester, she could go back to the tree and see him once more. Before she could think about it her legs was already running to the empty area and she stopped by post noticing the guy sleeping under the tree. She slowly walked over and sat on the other side of the tree, just listening to his small snores. She felt calmed and all her sadness just left her body as she sat listening to him sleep. She knows it must look super creepy but she felt safe with this stranger and didnt have to worry about anything. 

After an hour the guy woke up and Pidge stayed sitting on the other side of the tree hoping he wouldn't notice she was there. 

"another bad day" he asked shocking her since she thought she was hidden. 

"I met my brother and he ditch me after finding out I was a Slytherin" pidge said with a sadden smile. 

"I see, need a hug" he asked and pidge nodded knowing he couldn't see her but he still walked round and hugged her like he knew she nodded. 

"thanks" she smiled and he just smiled back.
