"are you sure your gonna be ok to play this match" Matt asked with worry as he walked his sister to the quidditch an hour before the match since the teams had to meet up before the game and warm up.

"i will be fine matt, I've had it much worse" Pidge smiled to her brother who turned to her unsure.

"worse" Matt asked with worry.

"first Christmas at the orphanage" Pidge replied and Matt chuckled before nodding. He remember his sister jumping of the roof in hopes of being able to fly and become the new peter pan. She planned to fly him and herself back to their old home and they would never grow up just mess around all day. She spend Christmas eve in hospital with a broken arm and leg while bruised all over.  He stayed with her and bout their parent with them, they were given one each. They stole a computer chair and rolled down the empty dark halls. Pidge forgetting she nearly died and ignored the pain until they both made the wrong turn and fell down the stairs. Matt was given a broken leg and placed in the bed next to her with a nurse keeping watching on them at all times. 

"i guess that pain is a lot worse then being beaten up but dont push yourself. Shiro doesn't even care who wins as long as your ok" Matt smiled and ruffle his sister hair.

"thanks but I'm going to play to win it. I wouldn't want anyone to go easy on me just because I'm not completely healed" Pidge smiled softly and Matt nodded.

"good luck" Acxa mumbled as she walked past the two siblings knowing this was the only way to wish pidge luck without being seen as her friend and getting bullies herself. 

"so that Acxa" Matt grinned and Pidge nodded.

"and it seems we reached the grounds, are you going to meet up with lance and hunk or wait here till the match starts" Pidge asked with a sweet smile as she hopped over the metal pole fence that came to her hips. 

"i think i stand with Lance and Hunk" Matt grinned and nodded towards the two boys who stood talking with Shiro and Keith.

"Keith did say something about walking over with the others while you took me to be checked over" Pidge smiled and walked over with matt.

"hey, how did the check up go" Hunk asked with a friendly smile.

"she all good to play, she mostly healed and would just ache" Matt explained with a kind smile.

"that good to know but are you sure about playing. Yes Coran put the despell on your broom but it wont protect you from lotor or the other Slytherin players attacking you dead on" Lance asked with a worried smile.

"dont worry, i keep an eye out for their tricks and I'm going to play. I do have to kick a certain two friends of mine ass" Pidge smirked.

"then its on, we wont go easy on you" Keith warned with a cheeky grin.

"i wont show any mercy" Pidge grinned back.

"are you about this Katie" Shiro asked still unsure.

"dont go easy on me shiro or Keith. I'm fine and the doctor happy with me playing. Lets have a good game" Pidge smiled brightly.

"yeah lets have fun out there" Shiro smiled and ruffle pidge hair. 

"ah well you three better head over to your teams" Matt frowned as he looked at the time and the three ran over to the teams. 

"you think they just over look pidge" Hunk asked with hope.

"no way in hell, they gonna use any trick they can to get her during the game. Beating the crap of her didnt work so they gonna scare her away in the game" Matt frowned. 

"well at least we have coran and Miss Krollia keeping an eye out on them. Keith nor us have told them why pidge looks beaten up since she told us no facts but they sense something bad is happening" Lance smiled slightly and the two boys nodded.

The match started and everyone looked ready to win. A slight odd feeling in the air from the Slytherin making Keith and Shiro worry slightly. After all after hearing all the stories of past games between Slytherin and Gryffindor normally have a blood lust feeling in the air since this is the only time the houses can really fight without most rules. But Slytherin wasn't giving off blood lust, instead they gave an uneasy feeling and a trickster feeling.

Pidge shook her head and took a deep breath when she could feel eyes on her. She had a game to win, she planned to beat shiro and Keith in a fair game, well by her part. She sat hovering on her broom in the air away from the centre trying to look for the golden snitch. She knew they wont win by getting points in scoring since shiro was the keeper. Keith was doing good at being the chaser and earning points for his team. Now pidge just had to do the same, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

She listened to all the sounds and slowly opened her eyes with a smirk as she noticed a certain buzzing close by. She glanced to the side to see the golden snitch flying near the beams under her. She flew off only having one aim, she listened to her brother, hunk and Lance take turns at cheering for all three friends making her giggle a little. She listened to Coran cheering her on while Krollia cheered on her son and shiro. She nearly had the golden snitch, it was in her reach but she had to pull back fast as a Quaffle came flying at her with forced. 

She fell pale at the close call and turned to where it came from to seeing Lotor throwing the bat back to another player. She watched him smirk at her before flying off making her anger build up before she shook it away. She was in the middle of the game and she was going to catch the golden snitch without cheating. 

She took another deep breath and flew up giving Shiro a soft smile with a nod to let him know she was ok. She did the same as Keith flew past with the Quaffle, glancing at her to check she was doing ok and calm down when she smiled back. She listened out for the golden snitch and found it once more but worried at the Gryffindor Seeker also known as James was chasing it. She flew towards where he was chasing hoping to catch it where it was aiming to fly instead of where it was flying.

She got close but soon had to fly up to dodge a Bludger. She didnt bother to turn to her teammates since Bludgers are nasty buggers most times. But she did turn when they kept chasing her and she had a couple close calls from Bludgers. When she noticed both was flying towards her with more force then normal games she had an idea. She smirked and did a flip missing the hit before landing on her broom and letting the Bludgers chase her straight towards Lotor who panic at seeing the girl smirk. She can play dirty too and well she said she never cheat to win a game but she never said anything about giving close calls to her own teammates. She knew it was not a good thing but as she did a loop in the air making the Bludgers nearly crash into lotor they suddenly stopped chasing her. "fight me with skill not cheats" was all she whispered before chasing the golden snitch that James seemed to have lost.

Cheers came to a stop as the ref spoke the winner. Shock filled the room as Slytherin won against Gryffindor. Pidge smiled brightly as she held the golden snitch once again and the two teams landed back on the grounds without problems. Well pidge was getting glares from almost everyone but she couldn't stop smiling. She helped win the game and she took care of lotor. Who wouldn't be a little joyful.

"Katie" Shiro smiled brightly as he ran over hugging her and swinging her around in a circle.

"Shiro" Pidge giggled before he placed her down.

"that was badass" Keith smirked as he ran over.

"i dont know what your talking about" Pidge grinned back with a hand on her hip and the two chuckled.

"well, I'm sure he learned not to mess with you during quidditch" Shiro grinned and ruffle pidge hair.

"yeah no matter how i look at that game, i cant find a single fault into being depressed over losing to you. That was awesome" Keith smiled and playfully hit pidge arm.

"yeah that game was awesome" Pidge cheered and jumped a little.

"it was a great game" Shiro smiled and soon their other friends ran over.

"holy moly that was so cool" Lance grinned and hugged pidge.

"i was so scared but I'm so happy" Hunk smiled and hugged pidge neck.

"that was too close for my liking but way to go sis" Matt smiled brightly and hugged his sister last.

"lets get a coke" Lance grinned as he leaned his arm on hunk.

"um, i think we might change first since our uniforms smell a little and they sweaty" Keith replied while shiro nodded and pidge made a gross out face after smelling her quidditch gear. 

"good idea" Pidge sighed and shiro chuckled.

"i walk you back to your house sis, then we meet everyone in coran classroom" Matt smiled. 

"sounds good to me" Hunk smiled.

"well me and Keith will see you holt siblings on the stairs and we can walk to coran class together" Shiro smiled and pidge nodded with a cute smile before they all started walking off.

"congrats" Acxa smiled as pidge came walked in after her shower.

"thanks" Pidge smiled softly and walked over putting her simple school uniform on since it was still a school day and they had still ware their uniform even after class. 

"it was cool how you messed with Lotor but be careful since he already dislikes you. I dont want to find you dead one morning" Acxa smiled before frowning at her warning.

"dont worry, it my life becomes in danger then i speak with a teacher and get a spare room but only if i think i might die" Pidge replied with a small smile.

"well just take care, i better go the girls will be wondering what taking me so long" Acxa smiled and stood up walking to the door.

"bye" Pidge smiled and finished getting dress before stroking green and running out to meet with matt who stood outside waiting.
