Shiro mother returned later that night with a special gift for her son and the girl she hoped would one day marry her son. Now she didnt tell her son she snuck out of the house to go shopping. Instead she walked over to the sofa to find the two all cuddle up and fast asleep. 

Now as a mother, of course she took many .. many photos of them before placing a blanket over them and heading to bed herself. She awake when she heard uneven footsteps and opened her bedroom door, walked to the stairs to find her son carrying Pidge bridal style.

Now shiro looked up with a huge blush to find his mother taking photos, he didnt even know where she got the phone from since his mother was in her night gown. He gave his mother pleading eyes and she went back inside her room, hearing her soon wish Pidge 'sweet dreams' as he placed her in bed before walking to his room. 

The household fell silent as everyone fell asleep once again and soon morning came making them all slowly wake at different times. Pidge was the last awake, a little embarrassed for being the last awake but shiro told her not to worry. He knew she didnt get to sleep in much at her normal house since the others would mess with her or Matt would come running in excited for a family day. 

Pidge smiled at shiro before they joined to cook breakfast together. A little thanks to his mother since she told them she had a gift for them. Now shiro was a horrible cook and somehow set a cup of water on fire. Pidge looked at him amazed, she could cook the basics and simple stuff but she never thought she meet someone a worse cook then herself. Now as she watched shiro put the cup of water out, she set the fire alarm off by burning the toast and setting the toast on fire. Both students panic and used their magic to fix everything.

Before agreeing to never speak of this. On their second try, they had a plan. Pidge would do the eggs and bacon while Shiro just took the toast out of the toaster and butter it. They both cheered and hugged each other as three plates sat field with eggs, bacon and toast .. non being burned.

Shiro carried two plates while pidge carried one and the jug of juice. They placed it on the dinner table where Shiro mother sat. She smiled and was impressed nothing was on fire or burnt on her plate. The two nervously chuckled when she asked how the cooking went and the mother knew not to ask anymore. 

They both watched Miss Shirogane took a bit of her meal, making sure their food was safe to eat before eating themselves. Or they would if Miss Shirogane didnt decided to prank them by faking death. She burst out in laugher at the panicked faces of the teens before going back to eating her meal. Now miss Shirogane knew it wasn't a good idea to prank wizards or witches but she couldn't help herself, it was worth any pranks they do in return after seeing their faces.

Now once they finished eating and the three brushed their teeth miss Shirogane got the shopping bags. She passed one to her son and one to pidge who looked at her surprised. She nodded at the shorter girl, letting her know it was ok to open the bag and be happy over the gift. 

She watched her son pull out black swimming trunks with a black vest, a short sleeve white beach shirt and spare joggers with some purple boxes that Shiro quickly shoved back in the bag hoping pidge wouldn't see but she did. She watched as pidge pulled out a one piece green swim suit that had a lighter green skirt joined to it and thin shoulder straps. A nice green and white summer dress and a simple purple summer jacket. Pidge blushed as she looked inside the bag seeing back underwear and bra that was in her size. She looked at miss Shirogane stunned that she knew her size.

"I knew my son size but sadly I wasn't sure about you, so i might have checked your clothes that I was washing and well I also looked at your underwear. Sorry if I spook you, I just wanted you to have that exciting new feeling and not worry about how you look" Miss  Shirogane smiled kindly and Pidge teared up a little before hugging the women, Shiro just smiling at the scene before being pulled into the hug by his mother. 

"thank you" Pidge sniffled, its been so long since someone gave her a gift. Well such an honest kind gift that had meaning towards it. Pidge felt overwhelmed  and cared for once again by a mother, even if this lady wasn't her mother she felt the love. 

"oh dont cry my little one, I'm just happy you liked them. Now both of you go get changed into those outfits since we going to the beach and dont worry over my health. I got the ok from the doctor yesterday, one bad wouldn't kill me" Miss Shirogane smiled and the children broke from the hug smiling and nodding before going upstairs. Well shiro stopped and turned to his mother. 

"thanks mother, It means a lot for Katie I mean. She hasn't felt this welcome in a long time and I'm glad you accepted her too" Shiro smiled before walking to his room, his mother feeling emotion now. 

"oh, he better marry that girl now" Miss Shirogane mutter to herself before walking to her own room, getting dressed in her own black and green swim suit and putting a nice purple and blue summer dress on. A big summer hat on his head before she packed some towels for them to use. She grabbed her car keys and got ready for the trip. The two walking back and jumping in the back of the car ready for the day out. Miss Shirogane notice Pidge eyes were still a little red showing she cried tears of joy and Shiro just smiling at the girl beside him.

It took a couple hours before the reached the beach but the three had fun in the car. They sang along to some songs over the radio and talked to each other. Looking out the window and making jokes when they could. Teasing each other slightly, well Shiro was out numbed by the two women who both knew things about him.

As soon as they reached the part, the young students helped find a spot on the beach, setting up a beach umbrella and some chairs. Keeping the beach bag beside the chair Miss Shirogane was sitting on since she needed to rest a little from driving so long. The two took their clothes off, showing their swim ware and blushing after turning to each other. Shiro offered Pidge his human hand and she took it before they ran to the sea. Both running in and soon running out by forgetting how could the water was. Before walking back in but stopped when the water hit Pidge waste since she wasn't a keen swimmer and well both could swim just not in the ocean.

Miss Shirogane watched with a content smile on her face but soon panic as the two turned to her waving before whispering something to each other. She knew by the smirks on their faces it wasn't going to be fun for her. She was warned to take her summer dress off and her being stubborn said no so pidge showed the bucket of water they filled, the bucket they borrowed by a smiling child. Miss Shirogane quickly took her summer dress off, letting her son hold her hand before walking towards the sea. Pidge giving the bucket back to the child before helping Shiro push his mother into the sea. All three stood in the ocean regretting certain life choices since the water was still freezing.

Shiro and Miss Shirogane stood in the sea until the sea reached their own waste while pidge stood where the water level was at her stomach. The three decided splashing each was a good idea, it was fun but still very cold. After seeing their lips turned blue they decided to go back to the chairs. They sat down huddle up in the towels mumbling about no more going into the cold sea.

Once they were dried up more, Miss Shirogane gave her son some money telling him to find drinks and lunch for them why she stayed with the stuff. Pidge walked with shiro to help carry the stuff. Both talked and laughed as they walked, enjoying the walk along the beach hand in hand. Well they didnt need to hold hand but Shiro lied saying he didnt want her to get lost and she took his hand anyway. A gentle smile on his lips and a soft one on hers as they turned to each other.

"I'm having fun" Pidge spoke first and Shiro chuckled.

"me too, we should do this again but without my mother taking secret photos from our spot on the beach" Shiro replied and Pidge giggled.

"its a date" Pidge smirked.

"A date, I look forward too" Shiro grinned and they started walking again.

But as they reached a food place close to the beach it was already busy making them wait. Pidge notice a couple girls staring at a shirtless shiro who did have abs that she 'accidently' touched a couple times when they were in the sea. Well a girl only lives once and how could she not touch them, like come on its shiro for god shake. Pidge glared at the girls making them whisper to each other and some even walked away.

Pidge had a breath of relief as they reached the counter and Shiro ordered since he knew what his mother liked and well he already asked what pidge wanted when they were in line. The wait for be twenty minutes, Shiro paid and took his number before they waited to the side. Pidge getting slightly more jealous as more girls started staring at shiro and some were thinking to come over.

Shiro finding Pidge pouting cute as she worried over another girl trying to flirt with him and did a couple 'accidently' poses to show his body off a little. He notice pidge watching him with a blush, completely forgetting about scaring other girls off while she looked at him. Shiro smirk just grew and he couldn't wait to tease her later in life.

Shiro glanced as he notice a girl pop up beside him, she was wearing a pink string two piece swim suit. She had long dyed blonde hair and brown eyes, now most guys would drool over her but this girl wasn't pidge so shiro didnt care for her. He stayed looking at pidge and smiled at pidge glaring at the girl while pouting. He really did find her pout cute but as he looked up he notice his mother mouthing at him to stop, damn he forgot his mother was just like him and knew such tricks.

Shiro turned to the girl, listening as she tried asking him to hang out with her. Shiro gave a kind smile and rejected her, turning to Pidge and saying he would rather spend the day with her. Now the girl walked away, taking the rejection well and giving pidge a sorry look for asking out her man. Shiro wonder if most girls was this nice and his learning of women from TV shows was wrong. But after the first once tried asking him, many more tired and they weren't as nice as the other one. They didnt like 'no' and kept trying to win him over. He notice a couple even pushed pidge away making him pull pidge close to him and just walking to another spot to wait for their food.

The last girl who came made shiro want to hit her as she really wasn't giving up and she wasn't being kind to Pidge at all. So shiro being the annoyed male over someone dissing his girl did the one thing pidge wasn't expecting.

He pulled pidge into a sweet kiss, keeping his hands on her hip as their eyes closed while they melted into the kiss. Shiro slowly pulled away with a blush before feeling pidge arms wrapped around his neck pulling him down and kissing him back.

Pidge blushed as they pulled away while Shiro looked at her suspired, he was expecting her to slap him out of embarrassment not kiss him back. She turned to the girl and smirked proudly before taking shiro hand and pulling over as their number was called from the counter. Shiro just smiled at the girl he found the most adorable before tensing as he notice his mother with her phone out. She wouldn't have ... oh god she did. 

Miss Shirogane did a small dance and cheer as she had the kiss's recoded on her phone. She sent them to shiro along with the photos she took and sent a copy in her emails in case her son tries to delate the ones on her phone. She also sent copies to another email account she knew her son didnt know about just in case he gets pidge to hack her emails, after all she remembers her son letters about pidge very well. 

She watched the two return, Shiro just looking at his mother with pleading eyes while pidge still had a blush on her cheeks. Miss Shirogane kindly and acted like she didnt just see all that and enjoyed her meal with a brighter smile then normal. She gave her son the side look wondering if he and pidge was a thing yet or if he was being a coward. Shiro having a silent argument with his mother with just their eyes while pidge awkwardly at her meal feeling the two stars over her head. She munched on her donut since she finished her chips and wonder if she could run back to shiro house since she did not want to get in the car if they were still staring at each other in a fighty way. 

"Pidge hun, I was wondering .. would you like to return to our home during another holiday. I wouldn't force you but your always welcome to our home, You feel just like a daughter" Miss Shirogane smiled sweetly and Shiro ran his hand down his face since his mother meant daughter in law, he knew she where she was going with this.

"Katie, can we talk please" Shiro sighed, not letting his mother win this battle first. 

"Oh sure" Pidge mutter and stood up before Shiro took her hand, leading her back to the car park where his mother couldn't record them or hear them. He took a small breath, showing how nervous he was and Pidge had a small freak out moment inside. After a couple minutes shiro tuned to her, looking strength into her hazel eyes.

"I Like you ... no I love you Katie" Shiro burst out a little scared of her reply, he knew she just kissed him back and all but still, he was scared. 

"I love you too shiro" Pidge smiled warmly and pulled him into a quick sweet kiss.

"be mine" Shiro asked with a gentle smile and Pidge giggled.

"I'm guessing you mean your girlfriend" Pidge teased and Shiro blushed embarrassed at what he just said.

"please be my girlfriend" Shiro mutter and Pidge nodded before he picked her up, kissing her and swinging her around.

"Shiro just ate" Pidge groaned and Shiro quickly placed her back down.

"sorry, I got excited" Shiro replied with a small smile and rubbed his neck.

"well you are six, wait is it legal for me to date you" Pidge smirked and Shiro rolled his eyes. 

"I can go back to the group of girls if you want" Shiro teased back and Pidge grabbed is arm.

"over my dead body" Pidge replied making him chuckle. 

"We better get back to my mum before she starts thinking I asked you to marry me already" Shiro sighed and Pidge giggled glancing to the other side of the car where Miss Shirogane stood with her phone and a finger on her lip begging Pidge not to give her away. 

"Can we stay here a little, I'm still feeling uneasy from you spinning me" Pidge lied while Miss Shirogane ran back to their spot, mentally thanking Pidge for giving her a head start.

"You dont seem pale" Shiro mutter with worry and placing his hand on her cheek.

"I know, I lied .. I just a girl checking  you out. I'm just showing her your mine" Pidge grinned, since it wasn't a full lie .. a chick was checking shiro out but kept walking. 

"You are one jealous girlfriend but I still love you" Shiro smiled and kissed her before taking her hand and walking back.
