Pidge was walking back to the stairs heading towards the Slytherin house for bed. She finished eating and well already parted from her friends. Lance was planning to ask his classmate out and hunk stayed behind to see how it goes and cheer lance up once he gets rejected. Matt had to talk with coran about something and Keith mum dragged him to the side for a minutes. She waved goodbye to shiro as they reached the main stairs before parting.

She wont lie the halls was a little spooky walking alone at night when they were empty. Most of the Slytherin students was still in the hall chatting and the other ones already headed back to the house room. She was alone and walking, well until she heard footsteps rushing towards her. 

At first she thought it was just other Slytherin messing around on their way back but her bad feeling told her to look. She noticed the red tie and that when she started to worry. Gryffindor was on the other side of the stairs and there no way they could just be coming down the wrong hall. Everyone stayed clear of the hallways leading to Slytherin if they weren't in the house. 

Pidge started walking quicker knowing she only had to turn two more corners before reaching the Slytherin entrance where they couldn't harm her without the others seeing or hearing. She tried to stay clam since she knew she mostly like mess up if she panicked right now. 

But she felt panic was a good idea as one of the Gryffindor's grabbed her short hair pulling her back and pushed her down to the floor. Pidge yelp hoping another Slytherin on their way would hear and come to check or something. Her thoughts was blocked as a shoe connected with her gut sliding her across the floor with its forced kick. Pidge didnt remember much after the pain took over and well fear helped protect her. 

"Katie" Shiro yelled as he ran over pulling the guys away from her and kneeing beside her.

"Shiro" Pidge whispered surprised before turning worry as one of the other guys went to hit shiro while his back was turned.

"Watch out" Pidge yelled and pulled Shiro to the floor making him miss being punched. 

"You assholes" Shiro growled and stood up turning to the three Gryffindor's students.

Pidge watched as shiro anger took over him and he started hitting the three boys. She watched in horror as he used his robotic arm when fighting and she fell pale as the three boys was forcefully knocked out by shiro. 

She turned to shiro who still seemed angry and took a deep breath before limping over and holding his hand. Shiro tensed but calm after seeing it was her. He bought his human arm up to her chin wiping some of the blood away from her lip making her give a soft smile.

"thanks for the save" Pidge smiled warmly and leaned into his touch. 

"I'm sorry i couldn't get here sooner, i should have followed my instincts when i notice them turn the wrong way" Shiro frowned and Pidge shook her head.

"no, I'm glad you came when you did. I wouldn't want you to be the first to start the fight" Pidge smiled and squeezed Shiro other hand. 

"lets get you fixed up, the nurse should still be in her room" Shiro smiled gently and squeezed pidge hand back.

"why dont we call for a teacher first and get them dragged to the nurse" Pidge smirked and pointed to the three knocked out males. 

"good thinking" Shiro chuckled and turned to a painting asking them to fetch a teacher nearby. 

THE NEXT DAY, IN DETENTION.....

"pss" Pidge whispered from the window making Shiro turn to her in surprise since he meant to be in detention after fighting the boys who was sitting in the seats near the front of the classroom.

"go before you get caught" Shiro whispered back and Pidge smirked before jumping into the classroom, crawling on the ground under the desks until she got to shiro desk. 

"hey" Pidge grinned as she sat under his desk. 

"what are you doing here" Shiro whispered with worry as he glance to her.

"well its not fair your being punished for protecting me, I thought i just chill with you until the time up" Pidge smiled softly and rested her head on his knee.

"your going to get in trouble if allura finds out" Shiro sighed as he glanced to the teacher in charge. 

"oh please, she be glad to finally get me in detention" Pidge joked back. 

"thanks" Shiro smiled gently and Pidge smiled back before pulling out a notebook and started playing hangman and noughts and cross's with shiro while they waited for the thirty minutes to end. 

What the two didnt expect was Matt, Keith, Lance and even hunk walked into the detention room when it only had ten minutes left and sit around shiro giving grins, smirks and winks as they sat down. 

"Who said you four could just walk in" Allura asked unamused as she came walking over.

"oh, I'm just here to see the pricks who harmed my sister last night" Matt smirked while glaring at the three who sat in the front all beaten up.

"leave" Allura ordered.

"nah, we good" Keith smirked back and crossed his arms.

"dont argue back" Allura hissed.

"sorry miss but we sticking up for our friends and well we staying" Hunk replied with a nervous smile.

"yeah, our friend was attacked and our friend saved her yet he being punished for fighting. That not fair" Lance mumbled back and placed his feet on the desk. 

"dont make me report you four" Allura warned.

"make it five, becuase we not leaving until you either let shiro out or the timer goes off" Pidge smirked and stood up before sitting on the desk shiro sat at. 

"dont make me call your house heads" Allura sighed.

"go ahead, mine an daddy issues idiot" Pidge grinned back and Allura sighed before walking back to the front, not wanting to fight today.
