"I'll never leave your side again, I promise." He swore.

It has been almost six years since Bakogou made that promise, and ever since then he's kept it. He has never left my side and I've never left his. That day was the day that my life changed, it wasn't a big change but it was a change. Every morning I ask myself, 'Who was that man referring to when he said, us?'

"Lily? You okay?" Bakogou asked, walking out of the bathroom and sitting on his bed.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking." I said giving him a reassuring smile. I got dressed and we head out the door, as we were walking I randomly yawned and got a little sleepy. "Well I guess something bad's going to happen today." I laughed.

"You always say that when you get tired in the middle of the day." Bakogou said, grinning.

"Because every time I get tired randomly, out of nowhere, something bad happens!" I explained trying to get my brother's attention.

"Oh, you mean like how you stubbed your toe a few days ago, or how you stepped on a rock while grabbing your notebook that fell out of your bag?" He said laughing.

"Yes, and both of those thing were bad!" I exclaimed dramatically.

Time Skip

"Since you're all third years, it's time for you to think seriously about your future. I'll pass out handouts for your future plans now, but... you're all... pretty much planning to go into the hero course, right?" He said throwing the papers in the air.

"Yes!" Almost everyone yelled, showing off with there quirks. I just sat in my seat quietly, with my usual unemotional face.

"Yes, yes, you all have a wonderful quirks! But using your powers at school is against the rules!" He said trying to calm the rowdy class down.

"Teach! Don't lump us all in the same group. Elizabeth and I aren't going to be stuck at the bottom with the rest of these rejects!" Bakogou said smirking. Everyone started yelling at him say stuff like that was uncalled for. "You should all shut up like the extras you are!" He laughed.

"Oh, if I remember correctly you two want to go to U.A. High, right?" The teacher asked us. Everyone was surprised for some reason and started saying stuff about it.

"That's exactly why you guys are just extras!" He jumped up on top of his desk,"We aced the mock test! We're the only two at the school who could possibly get into U.A. We'll definitely surpass All Might and become the top heroes! Our names will be inscribed on the list of top earners!" He exclaimed loudly so the class would get the point. I smiled at him, I love to see him happy like this, he loves talking about how one day he'll surpass other hero's and be the best.

"Oh yeah, Izuku wanted to go to U.A. too, right?" The teacher said and I knew Bakogou was gonna pull something. Suddenly, everyone started laughing at him, I felt bad for him, I mean he is my friend.

"Huh? Izuku? No way!" Some kid said, the others kept saying stuff on how he wouldn't be able to get in. I was getting annoyed.

"You can't get into the year course just by studying!" Another kid said.

"Th-They got rid of that rule! There's just no precedent..." Izuku explained. Then Bakogou smashed Izuku's desk like the raging maniac my brother is.

"Hey, Deku! You're below the rejects! Your quirkless! How can you even stand in the same ring as me?" Bakogou said as he loomed over Izuku.

"No, wait, Kacchan! It's not like I'm trying to compete with you or anything! Believe me!" He panicked,"It's just that it's been my goal ever since I was little. And well... I won't know unless I try..." He explained. I was getting ready to stop my brother if this got anymore out of hand.

"Whaddaya mean, unless you try?! Are you taking the test for fun?! What the hell can you do? You're quirkless!" He said angrily smoke coming from his hands. Everyone one was giggling and laughing at him, I wanted to say something but I knew it wouldn't change anything. A few minutes later the bell rang and everyone started leaving. I finish packing my bag and was about to talk to Izuku, but my brother beat me to it.

"We're not done talking yet, Deku." Bakogou said snatching Izuku's journal off the desk. He had let me see what was it a few times before and I knew how much Izuku cherishes it.

"Katsuki, what's that?" Asked one of my brothers friends, "Huh? "Hero Analysis for the Future"? Seriously?" He laughed.

"I-It's fine, isn't it? Give it back!" Izuku said trying to get it back.

"Bak-" Before I could stop Bakogou he ruined the notebook with a simple explosion, then proceeded to throw it out the window behind him.

"Most top first-string heroes have stories about them from their school days. I want the shine of Elizabeth and I being able to be called the only students to make it in to U.A. from this mediocre city Junior high school. I mean, I'm a perfectionist." Bakogou said,"So anyway," He placed his hand on Izuku's shoulder,"don't apply to U.A., nerd." He said then started walking away. I picked up my bag and started walking towards the door.

"Bakogou, go on ahead. I've got to grab something quickly." I said he hesitantly nodded and shut the door, "Izuku, sorry about him destroying your journal, I know you worked hard on it." I apologized as I ran over to him and grabbed his hands.

"Lily, it wasn't your fault." He said with a sad smile and small blush on his face.

"But I could have stopped him..." I said quietly looking down at our hands.

"Elizabeth! Hurry up!" I heard Bakogou yell.

"Coming!" I replied,"See you later Izuku." I said walking out of the class catching up with my brother.

Time Skip

"He's an idiot dreaming like a kid!" Bakogou said making the can he was holding explode in his hand,"Just watching him pisses me off!" He finished.

"Then, why don't we go to the arcade for a change of pace?" One of Bakogou's friends asked.

"You'll come, too, right, Katsuki?" The other asked. 'I hate these guys... but, I only have to put up with them for a little while more.'

"Yeah," Bakogou answered in a calm yet bored tone.

"Then let's go to the one in front of the station. There's lots of prey there." One said stretching his fingers into a circle. 'I wish I could burn those fingers right now.' I thought.

"You're terrible." The other one said grinning at his friend.

"What? If we get caught, it'll end up on my record!" Bakogou yelled at the idiot duo. Suddenly the two boys faces changed from smirks to scared expressions and they pointed behind Bakogou and I.

"Hey, look!" They both said. When I turned around I saw a huge sludge thing rising from the ground. It tried to grab me but Bakogou pushed me out of the way and was caught.

"Bakogou!" I yelled, "Give me back my brother you stupid pile of crap!" I yelled attacking the villain. Those two idiots ran away. I tried using super strength on it but I don't use that quirk a lot so it was too weak to actually do any harm. I kept dodging all its attacks, we eventually ended up out of the alley way and he destroyed an entire building. I was still attacking him trying to at least get Katsuki free. But before I could land another hit on him, someone quickly picked me up and was taking me away from the villain. "Put me down! I have to help my brother!" I yelled.

"Let the heroes take care of this!" They said putting me down. I saw that it was Kamui Woods. I watched as the heroes tried to fight the villain but they couldn't everything they tried didn't work. My brother was still fighting back though. The heroes were surprised at how strong my brothers quirk was.

I was on the verge of a panic attack I think.

No.

I can't freak out like this.

Especially if I'm gonna be a hero...
