A drive

The whole day, Barq was busy with his meetings, as his new restaurant was soon to be built at the end of the city. It seemed to be the best and cozy place to attract people to visit. The spot was worth it as people visited due to the pond and greenery area, which was beautiful and relaxing. Barq was working hard to acquire the land for his restaurant, where he would also build a huge hotel for foreigners. As he worked on his laptop, his daughter came over, eating and sipping a mango shake. "Daddy, I got a mango shake," she said, grabbing his jaw in her tiny hands. "I am not talking to you!" Barq said, displeased with her. Barq narrowed his eyes at his 5-year-old kid as Amayra sipped her mango shake and nodded her head. "That's cool," she said, making his jaw drop to the ground. "Please be displeased a little longer so that I can play around more," she said, making him question her audacity. This small girl wasMischievous. Barq shook his head disapprovingly and checked the time, which indicated approximately 7pm. Presumably, all the employees had already departed by now. He proceeded to power off his laptop and rose from his seat, gathering his coat, car keys, and Amayra's small backpack. Scanning the surroundings, he discovered her engrossed in playing with her building blocks. "Let us depart, my dear. It is time to return home," he stated, lifting her into his arms. She nodded in agreement and nestled closer to his neck. As he wiped away the remnants of mango shake from her mouth, he inquired, "Did you enjoy yourself?" Walking towards his private elevator, Amayra giggled and replied, "I relished witnessing you blush, daddy." Barq narrowed his eyes in response, causing her to giggle even more. "You are being mischievous. Perhaps I should consider enrolling you in a boarding school," he playfully remarked. Amayra tensed at her father's words, on the verge of tears.

With her trembling lips and copious tears welling up in her eyes, she sniffled, causing him to furrow his brow. "Come on, I was just kidding!" he said, while rolling his eyes.

Amayra could not suppress her tears and began crying in an endearing manner. This caused Barq to chuckle. He tenderly caressed her hair, but she swatted his hand away, exclaiming, "Bad daddy! Leave me! I will not go home with you!" She squirmed in his arms. Barq chuckled and playfully asked, "And with whom would you prefer to go?" He raised his eyebrows teasingly. "Uncle Ummay!" she pouted and sniffled even more. Barq rolled his eyes and kissed her chubby cheek, remarking, "He is not a good uncle." "As if you are good?" she retorted, rolling her eyes. Despite her tears, she couldn't resist insulting him with her playful banter. Barq shook his head at her words. This girl was undoubtedly his daughter. Her audacity was unmatched. It brought a smile to his face, knowing that no one else had the right to be as talkative and outspoken with him as she did. She ruled his heart and his world, his beloved princess.

Amayra wriggled free from his grasp and allowed him to release her. She ran out of the elevator in tears, while Barq calmly walked, carrying both his and her belongings. "Amor," he called out to her once, but she continued running until she tripped and was on the verge of falling. Barq quickened his pace and caught her before she hit the ground. Noya hurried towards them, tossing Amayra's belongings in the air, and protectively held her. Barq and Noya both supported Amayra, their eyes locked on each other. Amayra, suddenly frightened by the presence of both of them, sniffled once more. Barq could feel the warmth emanating from Noya's body as she embraced Amayra, causing him to sigh in relief that she cared for his daughter. Noya broke their eye contact first and directed her attention to Amayra, who was now clinging tightly to her.

Barq straightened himself, clearing his throat awkwardly. "What happened, Miss Cutie? Why are you crying?" Noya asked in such a sweet manner that Barq raised an eyebrow, surprised that she could speak so kindly, considering their previous encounters filled with her shouts. Amayra glared at her father, and Barq shrugged. "He doesn't love me! He said he will send me to a boarding school!" Amayra exclaimed, hugging Noya once again. Noya's eyes widened at her words, and she returned the embrace with equal intensity, glaring at Barq. He frowned in response to her glare.

He was totally freaked out by her intense glare. "How can you do this? Sending an innocent, sweet girl like her to boarding school?" Amayra chimed in, saying "and cute too!" Noya nodded in agreement, "yeah, she's cute as well. Do you have a heart of stone? No feelings?" She asked with so much anger that even Barq couldn't help but roll his eyes at these two drama queens.

"Excuse me, Miss Noya, but that is none of your concern. I was merely engaging in playful interaction with my daughter. Amor, please come to daddy," he stated, extending his arms. Amayra glared at him and displayed a pout. "No! You do not love me!" she exclaimed, intensifying her pouting. Barq let out a sigh and massaged his temple. "Oh, my dear child, please do not cry. And as for you, Mr. Boss, how could you make a young girl cry? It appears you lack compassion," Noya remarked, narrowing her eyes at him.

Barq rolled his eyes and inquired, "May I inquire as to why you are present here at this hour? Are you not supposed to depart around 5 or 6?" He checked the time once again. Noya let out a sigh and responded, "It was all your fault!" He placed his hands in his pockets, finding her innocence and melodramatic demeanor captivating. He felt an urge to remain there and engage in lengthy conversation with her. She was undeniably vibrant and stunning.

Before Barq could inquire further, the rain began to pour, prompting him to hastily seek shelter in his car. Meanwhile, the two young girls excitedly squealed and hastily left the shelter to revel in the rain. Little Amayra, too overwhelmed with excitement, ventured out to experience the rain for the very first time. Barq admonished them and proceeded to retrieve his daughter, cautioning her about the potential dangers of getting soaked in the rain. "No, let me play!" she pleaded in an adorable manner, while Noya also sided with her, assuring Barq that this rain was harmless as it was merely a seasonal downpour without any strong winds.

Amayra cheekily stuck out her tongue at her father, prompting Barq to shake his head in disbelief. Despite getting partially drenched, he swiftly entered his car. "Alright, don't complain later if you fall ill, Amor. I will have to take you to the doctor for an injection," he warned, narrowing his eyes at his daughter. Amayra giggled and paid little attention to his concerns. Barq settled into his car.

Barq strongly dislikes rain. Meanwhile, Amayra and Noya were joyfully giggling and playing in the rain, appreciating the beauty of nature. Noya gently held Amayra's plump cheeks and playfully remarked, "You resemble a white panda." Amayra giggled in response and playfully retorted, "And you look like a fresh lady finger." Noya chuckled at her words. As Barq honked the car horn, signaling for them to enter the vehicle, Amayra pouted at her father. "Daddy is just so boring," she confessed. "And arrogant too," Noya added, nodding in agreement. Amayra continued to giggle and jumped with excitement upon spotting a small snail, mispronouncing it as "a sell," which made Noya burst into laughter.

Meanwhile, Barq observed the scene from his car, his gaze fixated on his daughter and the young lady who was completely drenched in rain. Noya felt someone's intense gaze upon her, so she looked around and met Barq's eyes. He was captivated by her presence. Noya paused her dancing with Amayra, who was happily twirling around.

Noya experienced a sensation of warmth in her cheeks as she encountered his intense gaze, prompting her to be the first to avert her eyes. She delicately tucked her hair behind her ear, and in a moment of realization, her eyes widened. She found herself thoroughly soaked, with her garments clinging to her body, inadvertently exposing her physical attributes.

Barq called the. "Amor, hop in the car!" Amayra was all excited and giggling, holding Noya's finger and dragging her to the car. Noya was kinda shy, just standing there, but Barq unlocked the passenger seat door and was like, "Come on, let me give you a ride, Miss Noya." Noya was like, "no sir, thanks for the offer, but I'll just take a cab." She was playing with her fingers all timidly. Barq made sure Amayra was all settled in the car, covered her up with a cozy quilt he always had for her. Then he was like, "It wouldn't be appropriate go with a stranger, especially at this time." He had his hands in his pockets, all determined.

Noya was getting all antsy, 'cause she was soaked from the rain. She was like, "Your car will get all dirty... I'm completely drenched." She said it all soft, looking down. Barq raised an eyebrow, saying, "I value people over fancy stuff. Don't worry a bit, Miss Noya." He said it all nice and reassuring, and even opened the door for her like a gentleman. She was so touched by his kindness. Meanwhile, Amayra was giggling and giving Noya a look, and her dad was giving her the stink eye.

"Miss Beautiful, how was the cake?" inquired Amayra, gently holding her cheeks as she stood on the passenger seat. Barq fastened his seat belt and requested her, "Amor, please sit down." Amayra disregarded his request and instead sat down, glancing back at Noya. Noya smiled and expressed, "It was delicious. Both Nora and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you, cutie." Noya's words were accompanied by shivering, prompting Barq to switch on the heater to alleviate her discomfort. Amayra responded to this gesture with a mischievous smile, causing her daddy to roll his eyes.

Noya glanced out of the glass window, as the ride was quite. Amayra was enthusiastically discussing her enjoyment of the rain, while Barq was attentively driving and listening to her. Noya, however, remained uncomfortable and shivering from the cold. Barq noticed this through his rearview mirror and kindly offered his coat, saying, "Here, take this, Miss Noya." Upon hearing this, Noya couldn't help but suppress a smile by biting her lips. She thought to herself, "He is being so considerate. Just yesterday, he was a headache." She politely declined, saying, "Thank you, sir, but I'll be fine."

Amayra turned to Noya with a pout, remarking, "Daddy never lends his things to anyone. You're a lucky girl, just take it." She winked at Noya, causing her eyes to widen. Barq silenced Amayra, who then winked back at him, leaving him astonished.

"Amor, are you not speaking excessively?" Barq inquired, a smile adorning his face as he addressed his daughter. "It is a privilege to be your daughter," she replied nonchalantly, causing Noya to burst into laughter. This elicited a smile from Barq as well. The remainder of the drive was tranquil and devoid of conversation, as Barq drove with a contented smile. His day concluded on a positive and satisfactory note.
