Ishitha 's POV :-

I twirl around the living room , keeping the bags aside . This house isn't like those luxurious , beautiful , mansions or apartments but it surely is cozy and homely . The only thing which my apartment and my parents house lacked .

The living hall had one couch and two chairs placed opposite to each other . A furnace to heat the room . Unlike the 5 star Heaters , this place had a natural heater . The place was small , but I guess it will do for me .

After taking in the coziness of the living room , I think of taking a tour of the cottage before calling it a day and take rest .

I move forward to see a kitchen attached to the living room . It had all the basic appliances one would need for cooking . But I may not be using it for the only reason that I cannot cook anything except instant Noodles ...

This kitchen had a normal stove unlike the induction stove at my apartment back in Hyderabad . Microwave was a decade older version . All the cutlery were neatly arranged .

On the top shelves , there were some packet foods neatly stored . I think the owner already knew that I would be needing these stuff . Lucky me 😋

After taking another look at kitchen , I make my way to the helix staircase which I guess would lead me to the main bedroom because the ground floor has no rooms except for an attached Kitchen . Taking two steps at a time on the wooden stairs , I hear my resonating footsteps through the calm house . As expected the stairs lead me to the bedroom . It was the only room present on the floor .

The bedroom had a queen sized bed beside the French windows . A small closet was there at one corner of the room . Another corner of the room had a small study table with a Computer on it .

Computer looked very alien to my Mactop eyes . Being used to laptop and Macbook for years now , Computer definitely is an alien .

There was a door on one wall of the room which I guess is the bathroom .

I walk towards the bathroom and sigh looking at it . It was neat and well kept with a western toilet and a shower . It was also stocked off toiletries ...

Unlike my bathroom this bathroom neither had a bathtub nor a steamer . There was no walk-in closet attached to bathroom but I think this will do for two weeks . Hope So !

I go back down and carry my bag upstairs . Unpacking the bag , I neatly arrange my clothes and accessories which I had stuffed in my bag , last night into the small wooden closet .

I stretch my body once I complete arranging my clothes in the closet . Wanting a little bit of chill air of Ooty , I open the curtains of the French window .

My eyes bulge out of my socket and my jaw drops on the ground looking at the scene in front of me . This was the least and the last thing I had expected to witness in Ooty .

So much for booking a private cottage ...
