Jungkook followed the prince wordlessly as they both went to Taehyung's room. The prince went straight to the fridge and picked up two beer cans and tossed one to Jungkook. They drank their beer without speaking. Jungkook looked away while Taehyung looked at him.

"Mind telling me what's going on in that pretty head of yours, Kook?" Taehyung asked after a while, making the younger look at him.

"Did you knew it would go this way?" Jungkook asked as he took another sip.

"Yeah, I guessed it would." Taehyung replied with a soft smile.

"I'm sorry, Tae. For everything." Jungkook looked down in dismay.

Taehyung walked to him and held his face. Jungkook tried to avoid his gave but the prince held his face with a iron grip till the younger met his eyes.

"Hey, don't worry about it. Everything will be ok. You trust me right?" Taehyung asked gently, while stroking the younger's face with his thumb.

Jungkook leaned in to the hand that was on his face. "Yeah, I trust you."

Taehyung stepped back with a mischievous look on his face.

"Well, it seemed like I don't have duties since I'm not the crown prince anymore. I think I'm gonna take a nap." Taehyung said teasingly as he walked backwards towards his room.

Jungkook gave a loud laugh.

"The king clearly said that you needed to be protected 24/7. Guess I'm gonna have to accompany you for that nap."

Together, the walked in to the bedroom but it was very clear that  neither had any intention of sleeping.

Jungkook and Taehyung laid in each other's arms after that hot love making. After a while, Jungkook spoke up.

"Tae.."

"Hmm..."

"I was thinking..."

"Hmm... about what, Kook?"

"If you're really going to have free time... I thought... maybe... uhhh.... we could go home."

"Oh..."

"You don't have to, if you don't want it. I just thought.... maybe... you know, cause you were saying it the other day, before all this fiasco happened."

"Yeah, I would love to go. Maybe you can introduce me to your father." Taehyung said the last part in a teasing voice.

"Tae.." the younger said in a  reproachful tone. "I think my father knows the crown prince after working so many years in the palace."

"Yeah, but have you ever introduced anyone as your boyfriend?" Taehyung asked again, making the younger blush a little.

"No." Jungkook answered after few seconds. " I have not."
  
They fell to a comfortable silence for few minutes before Taehyung spoke up. He was snuggling on to Jungkook's neck, making the younger feel every puff of breath the prince was releasing.

"Kook."

Taehyung called in a soft voice but Jungkook didn't answer.

"Kook!!" Taehyung mused again but Jungkook didn't even acknowledged that.

Taehyung raised in head a bit to look at the younger who was now pretending to be asleep. Pretending, cause Taehyung could clearly see him fighting to keep a smile back.

"Kook."

"Kook!."

"Koo..."

"Kookie.."

Jungkook snapped his eyes open in a shock. "What the fuck did you just call me?"

Taehyung chuckled to himself as he was utterly amused with the way the younger was looking at him.

"Kookie... do you like it?"

"The hell I like it!! Don't you dare call me that. I'm not a biscuit!!"

Jungkook was half up from the bed with annoyance, which made Taehyung laugh even louder. He pulled the younger back to lay on the bed and climbed over him.

"I think 'Kookie' suits you. Cause whenever I eat you, you taste so damn delicious."

Jungkook looked utterly mortified.

"I-I.. y-you.. stop!"

"Hmmm... what do say? Can I call you Kookie... and eat you whole?"

Taehyung was running his tongue over Jungkook's collarbone and neck, making a path that felt like fire to Jungkook.

"N-no" Jungkook mumbled, his head already getting clouded due to prince's wicked tongue.

"Why??..." The prince whined. "Please.. hmmm..." Taehyung slid down a bit and attached his mouth to one of Jungkook's nipples.

"O-ok. B-but only when you e-eat m-me." Jungkook gave in as he took the sweet assault on his body.

Taehyung smirked a bit. Oh he knows just what to do to make the younger guard bend to his will.

And the word 'Kookie' was heard so many times after that.

When Taehyung went to meet Namjoon next day, he had a surprise. King Hyunbin and Jisoo was waiting there for him. Taehyung glanced back at Jungkook who had followed him inside.

If he knew that the king Hyunbin was waiting for him, he would have left the guard behind. The last thing he wanted was to bring the younger to the king's attention. Even Namjoon looked bit troubled.

"Namjoon, if it's ok, I like to speak with Taehyung alone." King Hyunbin said politely and after taking a quick glance at Taehyung, Namjoon left the room.

King Hyunbin looked at the guard expectantly but Jungkook held his ground and didn't leave. Taehyung didn't ask him to leave either cause he knows the younger will not. King Hyunbin half shrugged after few seconds of silence and addressed Taehyung.

"What you did yesterday was very brave. Or stupid, the line is often blurred a lot."

Taehyung gave a soft smile at that. "I did what felt right, your majesty. I wasn't aiming to be brave or stupid. Just didn't want to be dishonest."

King Hyunbin gave a nod at that.

"Can I know who this person is? The one whom you valued more than the power and status this marriage could bring."

Taehyung shifted uncomfortably. He didn't want to bring any attention to Jungkook but couldn't point blanc refuse the king either. He was frantically trying to come up with an explanation when he heard a movement behind him.

Taehyung half turned to give a forbidding look to Jungkook but the younger was not even looking at him. He had his focus solely on the king as he walked passed Taehyung to stand in front of king Hyunbin.

King Hyunbin looked at the guard with a puzzled look first but then he realized what was happening.

"Him?" The king asked with a tight voice and there wasn't anything Taehyung could do at this point so he gave a confirming nod.

The king turned his attention to the guard who was just standing there with a blank expression.

"What's your name?" 

"Jeon Jungkook, your majesty." Jungkook answered without any hesitation.

"So you really think you're better for prince Taehyung than my daughter?" The king asked and was immediately replied with two protesting voices.

"Your majesty!"

"Dad!"

The king stopped both of them with a flick of his hand and looked at the guard again and Jungkook looked at the king directly too. His voice was steady when he spoke.

"I believe I make him the happiest, your majesty. I don't want to worry about the things I can't control. His happiness is what matters to me most in this world, and I would do anything  in my power to give him just that."

They looked at eachother for few seconds before the king gave him a nod. He then looked at Taehyung and gave a soft smile.

"You got yourself a loyal one there, Taehyung. Good for you." The king said in a reassuring voice and after the initial shock, Taehyung smiled back.

"Well, my daughter tells me that you told her to consider you as her brother and I hope you meant that. She's my biggest worry. Guess I can sleep a little peacefully considering that she has you and Namjoon's backing."

"Don't worry about it, your majesty. She will have our support whenever she needs it. I give you my word." Taehyung said in a reassuring voice.

"If she's like your sister, guess that would make me kind of like your father. There will be no more talk of marriage Taehyung. And as for your title, it will be solely your brother's decision. I'm going to forget I ever saw that even." The king said in teasing voice and Taehyung couldn't help but to laugh.

"Thank you, your majesty."

"Well, off you go then."

Taehyung gave a bow and pulled Jungkook by his hand, who seemed to have frozen to the spot with shock. When they were almost at the door, the king's voice stopped them.

"Oh.. prince Taehyung." The king waited till both of then turned towards him. "I hope you invite us for the wedding."

Jungkook just gasped and looked at the king with wide eyes, which made the other three people in the room laugh at that adorable reaction.

"You will definitely be invited, your majesty."

With that Taehyung half dragged the shocked guard and went out of the room.
